“Margarita was great! Very reassuring, responsive, and sent updates! She was sweet and patient with my dog Potato who has separation anxiety. She fed him dinner and took him for a little walk when needed. Would book again! Thanks!”

About: From hamsters and lizards, to cats and dogs, I have been a devoted pet parent (and aunt) my whole life. I absolutely adore my Shiba Inu and treat her like the princess she is. I would be honored by the opportunity to walk or hang out with your dog and provide anything they might need. I have experience with training as well as pet-sitting and checking in on dogs of friends and family. I am currently a freelancer and work from home. I can be available with short notice mornings, afternoons, and sometimes evenings. Just let me know and we can work something out (: I live in a home with a fully fenced yard. My dog loves to play out back and on the front lawn. There's plenty of room indoors as well.
“Thank you so much Albina!! It was very last minute and bullet had a good time. You were very communicative and the drop off and pick up was very quick. If I was in your area, she would be regular there.”

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
About: Attentive, loving, professional care for your pet! Thank you for supporting a local pet professional! I love what I do and take pride in providing the best care for you and your furry family. It’s a joy to see that appreciation reflected in my clients. Since Rover increased fees for sitters to 25%, I won’t be able to reduce my rates anymore on the app! Thank you for understanding. A bit more about me: My name is Jess; I’m 31 years old and have a deep love for animals. I started doing Rover in 2017 with my sister Lindsay in Portland, OR and had wonderful experiences with many different clients and their pets. Since moving to LA, I’ve continued pet care here on my own since 2021. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Maiya and two Golden Retrievers, Annie and Kodi. I have experience with small and big dogs alike (including puppies), as well as cats, guinea pigs, and ferrets. I’ve volunteered with the Northeast Animal Shelter, which included assist with daily feeding, walks, and socialization. I have basic experience with lead training and socialization for dogs and puppies. A few things I’d like to emphasize about myself; firstly, I appreciate the level of trust that you are extending to me as a pet care professional and mirror it in my actions as a responsible caregiver; I understand that a pet is a part of your family and do my best to treat them as my own. I adore any and all canines, so that comes naturally for me as well! Secondly, I know that traveling can be stressful and want to make it easier on you. I communicate as much as desired so you can be rest assured that your beloved pet is in safe hands. For house sits, I’m also happy to do any basic home needs while you’re away, such as bringing in the mail or taking out the trash. For boarding, your pups will stay with us in our condo (two flights of stairs) with my husband and our roommate who both love dogs. While they’re around most of the time (which is nice if I have to step out for a minute) I am the primary care giver for your animals and will be attentive and on top of their needs. Rest assured, they’re in good hands! Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I incorporate pet care into my daily life and work schedule. I am a grad student and freelance graphic designer, which means I have a lot of freedom and flexibility to work around your pet’s schedule. During a stay, I may need to periodically leave the house to go to client meetings/class, but spend the majority of the day working remotely at home. Above all, I ensure your pets are getting the best care and attention they deserve while in my care. When I lived with a roommate who has two huskies, we made sure they got plenty of exercise, affection and playtime (without it huskies are a handful!) I believe a morning and evening walk along with adequate playtime and affection during the day is key to your pup’s wellbeing and peace of mind. Of course, if you have a pre-determined schedule for your pets, I will try to align myself with those routines to the best of my ability.
About: I treat every pet like they’re my own, paying attention to their unique personality, habits, and comfort needs so they feel safe, understood, and relaxed while you’re away. I am currently working remote which allow me to be home . I have a baby who is 2 years old. He is a maltipoo. I maintain a secure, reliable environment with clear routines, constant supervision, and genuine care to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort. My priority is their comfort.
About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are huge dog lovers. We share our home with our sweet 20 lb Chihuahua, Bambi. She’s very friendly and great at matching other dogs’ energy - if your dog loves to play, she’ll happily play along, and if your dog prefers more space, she respects that too. She reads the room very well. I run my own design studio, so I’m home most of the time and can give dogs lots of attention throughout the day. We also have a cozy, clean, fully fenced backyard with a tree where dogs can safely potty, play, and enjoy sunbathing. I love working outside in the backyard and spending time outdoors with the dogs. We’d love to connect with more Burbank neighbors and take great care of your pup while you’re away. I run my own design studio from home, so I’m around most of the day and can give dogs lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day and evenings. We have a clean, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely potty, play, and relax. For boarding stays, please make sure your dog is friendly with other dogs, as we have one dog of our own at home. Thank you!

“Dione is an amazing sitter and real pro. So happy to have found him through Rover. He is very attentive to my dog’s needs and takes him on many fun walks. Thank you Dione!! Teddy and I really appreciate you😀”

“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of my persnickety senior dog. He takes a while to warm up to people and both her and her dog Fang gave him the space he needed to feel comfortable in their home. Would definitely book again!”

About: I work from home and only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of attention and care. My dog Nico (a friendly 2-year-old Bernedoodle) and I walk 8–10k+ steps a day and love outdoor time. We have a shaded, enclosed patio for safe lounging. I keep a calm home environment and provide structure, play, cuddles, and plenty of updates! I work from home and structure my day around walks, playtime, and downtime with Nico—so adding another pup to our routine fits naturally. We go on multiple walks a day (usually totaling 8–10k+ steps), and I build in enrichment breaks, potty time, and rest periods throughout the day. Your dog will be part of our rhythm, not a side task! I care for pets the same way I care for my own dog—with structure, attention, and love. I only host one dog at a time so they get my full focus. I follow their usual routine closely, with potty breaks on our shaded patio, multiple daily walks, playtime, and plenty of rest. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and can sleep in my bed if that’s what they’re used to. I keep a calm, cozy environment so they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family.
“Bianca is very nice and reliable. My dog had a great time with her. We arrived a bit later than expected, but she took my dog out for a walk and even waited for me downstairs. I would definitely ask for her help again in the future. Highly recommend!”

Jasmin is so wonderful!! She has such a kind and caring nature andI immediately felt safe keeping my Georgie with her. She went over all his needs with me on a call the day before, and she is very attentive!! She sent several photos and was available ASAP over text, I felt totally at ease keeping Georgie with her. Everything was paid attention to including his walks, his feeding, and she made sure to give him his toys too. She has a pup about the same size as Georgie which is great because he has someone to play with when he’s there! Thank you Jasmin, Georgie loves his new home away from home hehe 💕

Fiona was great! She had great communication and dealt with a lot of flexibility on my side. We needed a last minute dog sitting after just moving and she was beyond accommodating. My boy is usually pretty shy with new people, but took to Fiona like a fly with honey! I was shocked as I have never seen him settle into someone so quickly. She went above and beyond by sending us loads of photos and videos of them hanging out all day during the doggy day care. Will happily book Fiona again in the future!
