About: I live in an 800sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. I usually keep cats in the bedroom and dogs in the living room or whatever works. If you are not ok with that, please confirm with me if I am boarding any other pets. Not spayed pets are ok and I make sure there is nothing to worry about. I absolutely love pets and even after they come back to their actual home, I still look for them around my apartment. They also get used to me very quickly because I give them a lot of attention and play time. Once a friend asked me to take care of their pet, and that’s when it all started. So I have been taking care of pets professionally for the past 2 years and it has been a real pleasure for me. In my life, I have had 10 cats and 2 dogs (German Shepherd) so I know how to act in any situation, even emergency. I have experience with pets that have separation anxiety. I am strong and can handle even the wildest creatures and treat them gently even if they misbehave. I do not raise my voice and I do not have any strict rules. I won't keep your pet like in a "prison cell". Playing with pets is one of my most favorite things to do. I also love running and if requested, I can take your pup for some physical activity in a park. I always stop and look around before I cross the street and never cross on red light. I love taking photos of pets and if you would like, I can send you photos of them daily. I do not have experience in grooming but I will be happy to give your pet a bath so it's clean and fresh when you pick it up. The most important to me is to create a safe and loving environment for your best friend so you can have peace of mind while you are away. I come from Poland and I am a Polish/American citizen. I am currently a nursing student at LA City College. Most of my classes are online so I spend 70% of my time at home. I have a surveillance camera in my apartment to check on pets and talk to them while I am gone. I do have toys, balls, food bowls, dog and cat beds, and cat scratchers. I can also provide my own litter box (your own litter is preferred). I am a trustworthy and responsible person. Your pet is the most important when it is in my hands. I live in a peaceful neighborhood with a lot of greenery to take dogs on walks. I have no strict rules around my house. I don't mind having your pet on my furniture or have it sleep with me (unless you're not ok with that). I never ever lock pets in the bathroom or cage, or even in the darkness alone. I always leave a small light on. Also, if it is hot/cold outside, I make sure to keep comfortable temperature inside. Kitties love my portable heaters! Also, I have a Sony camera which I use to take pretty pictures of the little ones (if interested, let me know).
“I definitely recommend Tabitha! She was patient and adaptable to the needs of our dog with separation anxiety. We had great communication throughout, and you can just tell from her vibes she is a great dog person. Thank you so much for giving us peace of mind while we were out! Junie says thank you, too! 😊”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals from the very beginning — literally. Two Ragdoll cats looked after me as a baby, and by kindergarten I was raising my own Maine Coon, Izzy, alongside two other Maine Coons and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lulu. My parents taught me early that caring for animals means paying close attention to what each one needs in any given moment, and that lesson has stayed with me. Later, when my Mom adopted a Dachshund puppy, I learned firsthand how differently smaller breeds think, move, and communicate — and how much you have to adapt your approach to meet them where they are. Every pet I have cared for I have been with for their entire life, which means I understand the real differences between caring for a senior dog and a younger one, and take that responsibility seriously. Currently I live in a house without any pets of my own so I can provide my undivided attention to your pet. My apartment issurrounded by great walking trails and am happy to take your pet out whenever they feel like it — I love a long neighbourhood walk as much as they do. I take one pet at a time so your animal always has my full attention, and I'll send you daily photos and updates every step of the way. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or simply curl up somewhere quiet, I'll follow their lead and make sure they feel completely at home. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I have over 20 years of personal experience caring for cats and dogs of multiple breeds. Feel free to reach out to let me know how I can best serve your pet! I am a recent graduate and freelance filmmaker who works from home, which means I am available and present throughout the day, every day. My weekly schedule is genuinely flexible — I am fully available Monday through Sunday. The rest of my time is spent working from my computer at home, responding to emails, editing, and working on grant submissions, so your pet will never be alone for long stretches. In the afternoons I go for a run through the neighbourhood trails surrounding my building — for high-energy dogs, this is a fantastic opportunity to get out, burn some energy, and really stretch their legs. Evenings are quiet and relaxed at home, which means your pet has calm, consistent company right through the night. I take one pet at a time and accept no other visits or bookings during that period, so whoever is in my care always has my full and undivided attention. I live in an explicitly pet-friendly apartment building with a large living room that gets plenty of natural light — a calm, comfortable space for any animal to settle into. I work from home, so I am present and attentive throughout the day and will always be available to respond to whatever your pet needs in any given moment, whether that's a walk, some playtime, or simply quiet company nearby. I have a car and am able to transport your pet if needed, including in the event of an emergency. I believe strongly in letting animals set the pace — I will never force interaction and will always give your pet the space they need to feel safe and comfortable. I live with a roommate who is typically out of the house during the day at work, so your pet will generally have a calm, low-traffic environment. He is very comfortable around animals and completely supportive of the arrangement. I take one pet at a time and do not accept any other visits or drop-ins during a booking, so your animal never has to share the space or my attention with another pet. For cats, I have a litter box, scratcher, and toys available. For dogs, I have great walking trails immediately surrounding my building and am happy to take them out as often as they like — and for high-energy breeds, my afternoon runs are an excellent outlet. I also offer drop-in visits at your home, doggy daycare, and house sitting for owners who would prefer their pet stay in their own familiar surroundings. I will send daily photos and updates throughout any booking so you always know exactly how your pet is doing, and I am reachable by phone or message throughout the day.
“Margarita was a great sitter for our puppy onyx. Friendly and very communicative; sending us text updates with photos. We’ll be happy to book her again. Definitely recommend her.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own, paying attention to their unique personality, habits, and comfort needs so they feel safe, understood, and relaxed while you’re away. I am currently working remote which allow me to be home . I have a baby who is 2 years old. He is a maltipoo. I maintain a secure, reliable environment with clear routines, constant supervision, and genuine care to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort. My priority is their comfort.
“Jonalyn was fantastic with my dog! She sent so many photos and kept Mocha busy and got her tired, which is hard to do. Mocha is usually nervously reluctant to separate from me, but every time we went to Jonalyn's, she got so excited. Definitely booking again!”

I am a full time stay at home dog care provider. I have a fenced yard with ample shade provided by trees. As well i have a very friendly and active 6 year old male golden retriever.
About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are huge dog lovers. We share our home with our sweet 20 lb Chihuahua, Bambi. She’s very friendly and great at matching other dogs’ energy - if your dog loves to play, she’ll happily play along, and if your dog prefers more space, she respects that too. She reads the room very well. I run my own design studio, so I’m home most of the time and can give dogs lots of attention throughout the day. We also have a cozy, clean, fully fenced backyard with a tree where dogs can safely potty, play, and enjoy sunbathing. I love working outside in the backyard and spending time outdoors with the dogs. We’d love to connect with more Burbank neighbors and take great care of your pup while you’re away. I run my own design studio from home, so I’m around most of the day and can give dogs lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day and evenings. We have a clean, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely potty, play, and relax. For boarding stays, please make sure your dog is friendly with other dogs, as we have one dog of our own at home. Thank you!
“Awesome spur of the moment stay. Daria’s can-do attitude and multiple photos throughout the visit allowed us to enjoy our time away without worries. We will look no farther for the perfect petsitter the next time we visit Glendale…we found Daria!!! Many thanks from Chula Cholula’s family 💗”

“Dione is an amazing sitter and real pro. So happy to have found him through Rover. He is very attentive to my dog’s needs and takes him on many fun walks. Thank you Dione!! Teddy and I really appreciate you😀”

“Thank you so much Albina!! It was very last minute and bullet had a good time. You were very communicative and the drop off and pick up was very quick. If I was in your area, she would be regular there.”

“I traveled to Burbank for a work event and needed a sitter for Missy on very short notice—less than 24 hours. Jose responded immediately and communicated so clearly throughout the process. On the day of the appointment, I ended up running an hour late, but he was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the schedule. He kept me updated by sending photos of Missy, which gave me peace of mind. When I’m back in LA, I’ll absolutely have Jose watch Missy again—I could tell she enjoyed her time with him too! Thank you so much, Daisy and Jose!”

About: Attentive, loving, professional care for your pet! Thank you for supporting a local pet professional! I love what I do and take pride in providing the best care for you and your furry family. It’s a joy to see that appreciation reflected in my clients. Since Rover increased fees for sitters to 25%, I won’t be able to reduce my rates anymore on the app! Thank you for understanding. A bit more about me: My name is Jess; I’m 33 years old and have a deep love for animals. I started doing Rover in 2017 with my sister Lindsay in Portland, OR and had wonderful experiences with many different clients and their pets. Since moving to LA, I’ve continued pet care here on my own since 2021. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Maiya and two Golden Retrievers, Annie and Kodi. I have experience with small and big dogs alike (including puppies), as well as cats, guinea pigs, and ferrets. I’ve volunteered with the Northeast Animal Shelter, which included assist with daily feeding, walks, and socialization. I have basic experience with lead training and socialization for dogs and puppies. A few things I’d like to emphasize about myself; firstly, I appreciate the level of trust that you are extending to me as a pet care professional and mirror it in my actions as a responsible caregiver; I understand that a pet is a part of your family and do my best to treat them as my own. I adore any and all canines, so that comes naturally for me as well! Secondly, I know that traveling can be stressful and want to make it easier on you. I communicate as much as desired so you can be rest assured that your beloved pet is in safe hands. For house sits, I’m also happy to do any basic home needs while you’re away, such as bringing in the mail or taking out the trash. For boarding, your pups will stay with us in our condo (two flights of stairs) with my husband and our roommate who both love dogs. While they’re around most of the time (which is nice if I have to step out for a minute) I am the primary care giver for your animals and will be attentive and on top of their needs. Rest assured, they’re in good hands! Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I incorporate pet care into my daily life and work schedule. I am a grad student and freelance graphic designer, which means I have a lot of freedom and flexibility to work around your pet’s schedule. During a stay, I may need to periodically leave the house to go to client meetings/class, but spend the majority of the day working remotely at home. Above all, I ensure your pets are getting the best care and attention they deserve while in my care. When I lived with a roommate who has two huskies, we made sure they got plenty of exercise, affection and playtime (without it huskies are a handful!) I believe a morning and evening walk along with adequate playtime and affection during the day is key to your pup’s wellbeing and peace of mind. Of course, if you have a pre-determined schedule for your pets, I will try to align myself with those routines to the best of my ability.

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.

“Jennifer was great. It was a last minute request and shew was great so we booked her again. She was communicative and sent cute pictures and videos. Will definitely go to her again”

Grandview dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jonalyn was fantastic with my dog! She sent so many photos and kept Mocha busy and got her tired, which is hard to do. Mocha is usually nervously reluctant to separate from me, but every time we went to Jonalyn's, she got so excited. Definitely booking again!

Wow, I can’t say enough great things about Jessica, Zach, and Fang!! My dog was immediately comfortable with them all (even though she can be nervous around men, she loved Zach). She had great play time, walks, and comfy naps. I got cute picture updates throughout the day, and she came back calm and sleepy. Can’t wait to book them again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker for my dog. The proof is in the daily photos she sent — each one showed my little doggie happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. Her response time was incredible-she usually replied within minutes. After seeing her setup in person, it was obvious why my dog felt so at ease. Her space is thoughtfully arranged, safe, and genuinely designed to help dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m glad that Kenzie made my dog feel loved while I was out of town. She is the first person I would contact the next time I have to travel.
Jasmin is so wonderful!! She has such a kind and caring nature andI immediately felt safe keeping my Georgie with her. She went over all his needs with me on a call the day before, and she is very attentive!! She sent several photos and was available ASAP over text, I felt totally at ease keeping Georgie with her. Everything was paid attention to including his walks, his feeding, and she made sure to give him his toys too. She has a pup about the same size as Georgie which is great because he has someone to play with when he’s there! Thank you Jasmin, Georgie loves his new home away from home hehe 💕

Fiona was great! She had great communication and dealt with a lot of flexibility on my side. We needed a last minute dog sitting after just moving and she was beyond accommodating. My boy is usually pretty shy with new people, but took to Fiona like a fly with honey! I was shocked as I have never seen him settle into someone so quickly. She went above and beyond by sending us loads of photos and videos of them hanging out all day during the doggy day care. Will happily book Fiona again in the future!
