About: I’m Tracy, a former animal professional who’s also an experienced house sitter and pet caretaker. (I spent a few years assisting zookeepers at the LA Zoo, and a few more working with ICU techs at a wildlife rescue. I’ve been employed at a cat sanctuary and presented exotic animals for after-school programs.) I’m reliable, friendly, responsible and will do things the way you want them done. Pets adore me and vice versa. I'm fine with huge dogs, tiny dogs, fearful dogs, high-energy dogs, cats who love attention, cats who hide under the bed. (I also love meeting exotics!) I'm flexible, patient and forgiving with them, but don't let them get away with stuff, like any good parent. I figure out their signals and learn to speak their language, so they feel "heard." I love getting to know pets and their goofy little personalities, and I work hard to safeguard their feeling of normalcy and security. I'm happy to give them exercise and keep them active. (They're the main reason I go out and get exercise myself, so I'm as grateful to them as vice versa.) I can also give meds as needed, be it pills, ointments, eye drops, even subQ fluids. I will be their best buddy (at their pace), make them feel loved and happy so that your absence will fly by for them. I am a non-smoker, no drugs, only a social drinker, I bring absolutely no drama. I’ll do things just the way you ask me to and, if I'm staying a while, will leave your place nice and welcoming when you get back.

About: I’m a caring and responsible person who loves all animals. I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, but between a full time job and traveling I wouldn’t want to leave my dog alone for so long. So for now I get my dog fix by hanging out with everyone else’s! Over the years I’ve watched and walked my friends dogs. I’ve mostly cared for small to medium sized dogs, but open to meeting larger dogs too! I’ve taken care of dogs with different personalities. Bean, my longest fury friend who I’ve watched grow up for about 4 years, feeding him, walking him and giving him attention when he wanted it. I’ve enjoyed the many hours we’ve spent just sitting on the couch watching tv together. I’ve also watched energetic dogs like Squid, who is my coworkers dog and let me tell you, he loves attention! If you don’t give it to him, he will keep barking at you. I’ve also cared for senior dogs. Like my cousins adorable dog Ketchup, who loves naps and walks. There was a weekend where I had to take care of him while my cousin was away. They had him on a schedule. I had to make sure he received his medications at certain times, took him out for small walks, and fed him at certain times. I’ve also cared for Dandy, who was also a senior dog that had walking issues. I would put her in a wagon to take her outside so that she could enjoy some fresh air. It was my friend’s family dog and she would let me take Dandy to work with me so that she wasn’t home alone. I would put a blanket next to my desk so that she could relax on. She was such a sweet dog! Wether your dog wants to go out for a walk, play or just cuddle on the couch, I would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend and give them the same care and attention I would want for my own dog. Until I’m ready to become a dog mom, I’m happy to become the neighborhood dog auntie! I’m currently working a full time job during the week, but available all day on Saturday and Sunday to walk your dog or dogs. I’ll take good care of your dog on our walks. I’ll make sure to keep a good distance from other dogs. If the ground is too hot to walk your dog, I will recommend scheduling in the evening when the ground becomes cooler so that they don’t burn their paws. If you would like photos of your dog while we are on a walk, I would be happy to provide photos.

About: My name is Andrea, I am 39 years old and I work full time at home. I have a 15 year old daughter and we previously had 3 pets, who have since died of old age. I have taken in many animals over the years and love for them like my own. The positive thing about working from home is that the dogs are rarely alone. About my yard I live in a nice walking friendly neighborhood and will take your pets on lots of nice walks. I am home all day working from my computer, and will bring your pets out every few hours and play with them throughout the day. I work from home and am there with them all day. I am very active so I do take a lot of walks with your dogs and can also bring them to the park if you’d like! I have a 3 bedroom apartment and your pets are free to roam in all areas. On walks, they will be on a leash at all times and I typically walk away from other people/pets so that there is no potential problem.

About: Bookworm who loves to go on walks, especially with a furry one! In truth, I’ve been caring for dogs for years, and have a fair amount of experience with cats. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and has a great time. Someone who will go around the block one more time, just because. Already take daily walks when I’m on conference calls. It would fit into my life seamlessly. Plus, my life is very flexible so it’s easy for me to adjust my day around what the needs of your pet are. Understand first from the owner what the animal needs, if there are any restrictions or concerns they have. Then, you just approach the animal with respect, allow them to acclimate. This approach has not failed me yet.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 5, so I’m comfortable with animals of almost every shape and size. I’ve done volunteer work helping stray dogs find safety, and currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I clean up after and interact with animals of almost variety of temperaments. Whatever your pet’s needs, I’ll give them the care and safety they deserve! I currently work under a flexible schedule so I am available both weekends and weekdays for dog walking, check-ins, and pet sitting. I only need one day’s notice for low-intensity interactions, and a week’s notice for overnight sitting. I am attentive to your pet’s body language and any of their other needs. I can handle smaller animals safely when needed, and will keep your dogs on safe paths when walking.

Being my full time chosen field, i am home with your pets. I firmly believe in getting the dogs out and exposed to the great outdoors as much as they are willing to allow me.
