For walks, I love to go on paths your pet is fond of, for anywhere from 15 mins- an hour! I love to stay active and will always make the effort to keep your dog entertained. For in-home care I tend to stay close-by your pet; whether I’m playing with them or working on my laptop. I’m familiar with crate training and keeping your pet in specific areas of your home, as well as away from others.

Information Jacqueline N. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know the following info about your beloved pet: - what you’d describe your pet’s temperament to be (and how they do around new people) - How they react around other dogs/cats - Any commands that your pet responds to - Any stressors your pet has - Favorite paths to walk or toys to play with - Any notable health related information (dietary restrictions, joint problems, tummy problems, etc.)

A typical day

I love to spend anywhere from 15-30 minutes getting acquainted with your pet when I start my sitter sessions. After we’re familiar with each other, depending on the time, I love to take your pet on a leisurely walk to explore or play with their favorite toys in the house. And for pets who love physical affection, I love a good ole fashioned petting session!

Exceptional Care is my Top Priority

Pet care experience

Although I’ve never had a dog or cat of my own, I grew up surrounded by pets. I owned hamsters as a child, and although I know they’re SO different from dogs and cats, my rodent besties taught me the importance of consistency, attention and care for animals, and I loved them unconditionally. Since grade school, I was always obsessed with my friend’s dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to pet sitter for my friends in college, and am always on the lookout for a new fur baby to take care of! I work fully remote, so I still regularly pet-sit for my friends, and I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and energy levels as well as households with multiple cats of varying temperaments; social, anxious, shy, reclusive, you name it! I empathize with how hard it can be to find someone trustworthy and communicative to watch your pet, so I prioritize sending consistent “pupdates” to ensure that you feel confident that your baby is being well taken care of. Thanks for reading! I can’t wait to care for your precious pet!

Jackie took such wonderful care of Snowball while we were away. Snowball is 16 years old and has special needs, so leaving her is never easy. Jackie was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. She followed all of Snowball’s routines, kept us updated with photos and messages, and treated her like family. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Snowball was in such loving hands. We came home to a happy, comfortable pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you for going above and beyond for our sweet girl. We highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter. We will absolutely book with her again!

Jacqueline is amazing! Our dog is a quirky little shy guy who doesn't warm up instantly but we could tell from the photos and videos she sent during the walk that he warmed to her. We felt completely at ease that she was taking care of him. We are so glad we found Jacqueline!
