“Highly recommend Mindy for looking after your fur babies! She’s detail oriented, great about following routines, and genuinely loves animals. Whenever we leave our cat and dog at home with her, I trust that she’s going to look after them as if they’re her own. Thanks Mindy (:”

“Justine was great! My pups are usually pretty skiddish but they got comfortable with her pretty quickly which put me at ease. She was very patient with my high anxiety pup and had no problem walking with her. I'm looking forward to booking her again!”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 5, so I’m comfortable with animals of almost every shape and size. I’ve done volunteer work helping stray dogs find safety, and currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I clean up after and interact with animals of almost variety of temperaments. Whatever your pet’s needs, I’ll give them the care and safety they deserve! I currently work under a flexible schedule so I am available both weekends and weekdays for dog walking, check-ins, and pet sitting. I only need one day’s notice for low-intensity interactions, and a week’s notice for overnight sitting. I am attentive to your pet’s body language and any of their other needs. I can handle smaller animals safely when needed, and will keep your dogs on safe paths when walking.
About: Having worked with dogs of all ages and breeds for over ten years both in Canada and Alaska, i can say with absolution that your dogs will be in the best of care. Being my full time chosen field, i am home with your pets. I firmly believe in getting the dogs out and exposed to the great outdoors as much as they are willing to allow me. I am a highly active woman conveniently located by several trailheads and griffith park. We have a large closed in backyard with many trees providing shade. Given the many years i have been doing this, i can provide you with several excellent references from clients both here in California as well as Alaska. I look forward to given you peace of mind knowing your dogs are in great hands. I do not have any other employment other than dog walks that i provide. I am a full time stay at home dog care provider. I have a fenced yard with ample shade provided by trees. As well i have a very friendly and active 6 year old male golden retriever.
“Madeline was great with Oso! I know he appreciated her long thorough walks and she could handle his excitement every time she came over. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Paula is amazing! She has such a kind, gentle presence. My little pug loved her instantly, and was sad to see her go. This is a top notch animal lover, highly recommend!!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals from the very beginning — literally. Two Ragdoll cats looked after me as a baby, and by kindergarten I was raising my own Maine Coon, Izzy, alongside two other Maine Coons and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lulu. My parents taught me early that caring for animals means paying close attention to what each one needs in any given moment, and that lesson has stayed with me. Later, when my Mom adopted a Dachshund puppy, I learned firsthand how differently smaller breeds think, move, and communicate — and how much you have to adapt your approach to meet them where they are. Every pet I have cared for I have been with for their entire life, which means I understand the real differences between caring for a senior dog and a younger one, and take that responsibility seriously. Currently I live in a house without any pets of my own so I can provide my undivided attention to your pet. My apartment issurrounded by great walking trails and am happy to take your pet out whenever they feel like it — I love a long neighbourhood walk as much as they do. I take one pet at a time so your animal always has my full attention, and I'll send you daily photos and updates every step of the way. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or simply curl up somewhere quiet, I'll follow their lead and make sure they feel completely at home. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I have over 20 years of personal experience caring for cats and dogs of multiple breeds. Feel free to reach out to let me know how I can best serve your pet! I am a recent graduate and freelance filmmaker who works from home, which means I am available and present throughout the day, every day. My weekly schedule is genuinely flexible — I am fully available Monday through Sunday. The rest of my time is spent working from my computer at home, responding to emails, editing, and working on grant submissions, so your pet will never be alone for long stretches. In the afternoons I go for a run through the neighbourhood trails surrounding my building — for high-energy dogs, this is a fantastic opportunity to get out, burn some energy, and really stretch their legs. Evenings are quiet and relaxed at home, which means your pet has calm, consistent company right through the night. I take one pet at a time and accept no other visits or bookings during that period, so whoever is in my care always has my full and undivided attention. I live in an explicitly pet-friendly apartment building with a large living room that gets plenty of natural light — a calm, comfortable space for any animal to settle into. I work from home, so I am present and attentive throughout the day and will always be available to respond to whatever your pet needs in any given moment, whether that's a walk, some playtime, or simply quiet company nearby. I have a car and am able to transport your pet if needed, including in the event of an emergency. I believe strongly in letting animals set the pace — I will never force interaction and will always give your pet the space they need to feel safe and comfortable. I live with a roommate who is typically out of the house during the day at work, so your pet will generally have a calm, low-traffic environment. He is very comfortable around animals and completely supportive of the arrangement. I take one pet at a time and do not accept any other visits or drop-ins during a booking, so your animal never has to share the space or my attention with another pet. For cats, I have a litter box, scratcher, and toys available. For dogs, I have great walking trails immediately surrounding my building and am happy to take them out as often as they like — and for high-energy breeds, my afternoon runs are an excellent outlet. I also offer drop-in visits at your home, doggy daycare, and house sitting for owners who would prefer their pet stay in their own familiar surroundings. I will send daily photos and updates throughout any booking so you always know exactly how your pet is doing, and I am reachable by phone or message throughout the day.

About: Growing up in the farmlands of Sweden, I took care of all kinds of animals from a young age. My mother was a dog agility trainer and I learned a lot from her over the years! I have a husky greyhound rescue of my own that also taught me a lot about training pups (leash aggression, commands, etc.). I also have a cat so I am well versed in how to handle a multiple pet household! My schedule is open so I have availability to work around your schedule and happy to accommodate to be able to spend time and care for your pets! Routine is crucial so assessing the needs with the owner is the best place to start! Happy to give recommendations as well. I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and happy! I will treat your pets as if they were my own - assisting with walking, training, resting, eating, etc.

“First time using Rover and we couldn’t be more happy with our walking duo of Oliver and Wen Chun! They were super communicative throughout the entire process and took so many photos which we really appreciated. We will absolutely be rebooking!”

About: I’ve always had pets of my own and have been caring for animals for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with kittens, adult pets, and senior or medically complex animals, including providing around-the-clock hospice care for my own beloved cat after his ataxia diagnosis. I currently share my home with Leon, my one-year-old cat, and Chicken, my 26+ year-old African Grey parrot—both rescues (Chicken was found abandoned and taken in) and very loved. I love caring for pets—cats, dogs, and birds of all types and sizes—and I’m happy to welcome other small animals too, just let me know! I treat every pet with patience, attention, and affection, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work from home and my schedule is flexible. My goal is always to schedule any services based on the needs of you and your pet(s). I will always follow any instructions on how you prefer your pet to be cared for. Otherwise, I will always care for them in the safest and healthiest way available. The same way I care for my own pets. Leon is an indoor kitty with unlimited access to fresh air and sunshine from his lounging cots attached to our large windows. He loves his wet food, and his meals are on a “flexible” schedule, and no all day grazing. He receives lots of playtime with his humans and more independently. Of course, he gets brushed, not always with a happy purr, but he gets as much as he will tolerate.

“Alexis is by far the best walker I’ve ever used. I have a cat that I walk on leash and she can be super fearful of new people. She’s never let anyone other than myself or Alexis put her into her harness. That’s when I knew this walker was a keeper. Will gladly rebook (and tip) anytime!”

Whatever you need, I am here to make this experience the best for your dogs , and to ensure they are cared for and happy! About my yard I live in a nice walking friendly neighborhood and will take your pets on lots of nice walks. I am home all day working from my computer, and will bring your pets out every few hours and play with them throughout the day. I work from home and am there with them all day. I am very active so I do take a lot of walks with your dogs and can also bring them to the park if you’d like! I have a 3 bedroom apartment and your pets are free to roam in all areas. On walks, they will be on a leash at all times and I typically walk away from other people/pets so that there is no potential problem.

About: I’m currently a zookeeper in training at the Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College, graduating this May with an associate’s degree. I work hands on with both exotic and domestic animals, learning about behavior, body language, and proper handling. This experience helps me stay calm, patient, and attentive with every pet I work with. Through my training experience, I’ve worked with a variety of species, including a tiger, a blind raven, a squirrel monkey, an armadillo, and many more which has strengthened my understanding of behavior, patience, and building trust with different personalities. I also had the opportunity to briefly volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I assisted with kennel cleaning, daily walks, feeding, and enrichment for dogs of various personalities. My animal care experience includes feeding, administering medications, cleaning enclosures, providing enrichment, walking animals, and maintaining consistent daily routines. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, as well as shy or anxious personalities, and I’m confident following specific routines like feeding schedules, walks, and enrichment. I always focus on making pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away Thanks for checking me out! I’d love to meet you and your pet! 😊 My schedule is currently very flexible! I am finishing up my program at The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College and graduating real soon! This allows me to dedicate consistent, focused time to pet care rather than rushing through visits. I am available on the weekends for drop-in visits and walks, and I'm specifically focusing on providing reliable daytime care. I am currently not offering boarding or weekend services, as I want to make sure I can give each pet my full attention and consistency during the week :) I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I take the time to learn each pets personality, routine, and any specific needs before starting care. Through my background working with animals, I’m very familiar with reading body language and handling different temperaments calmly, whether that’s an energetic dog or a more shy or nervous pet. I’m also comfortable following detailed instructions and administering medications if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I stay attentive during walks, make sure doors and leashes are secure, and focus on creating a low stress, safe environment. I also enjoy sending updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away! That's always my favorite part :)

El Miradero dog parents share their Rover experiences
John has been an amazing help with our two dogs. He asks all the right questions to make sure he is as prepared as possible to provide the services needed. Communication is prompt and consistent which provides a level of peace knowing that my dogs are under his care.

Michelle was the best thing for rookie, she made sure to help him feel comfortable and confident around other dogs as he has gotten so much better with reactivity. She updated me on how he was progressing and made me feel comfortable leaving him in her care :) 10/10 would recommend !!
April was great to work with. She made everything easy, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and clearly took great care of our dog. I felt completely comfortable knowing everything was handled, and it was obvious she’s both professional and genuinely cares. Would absolutely book her again.

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Tamar as our new dog walker! It was my first time using Rover, as my pup Lainey is quite shy at first, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, Tamar immediately put her at ease with her patience and kindness. By the end of their first walk, Lainey had found a new best friend. It’s so rare for Laines to get comfy so quickly! We had fantastic communication from the start, which put me at ease as well. Tamar is a reliable, friendly, thoughtful, and overall fantastic person to have taking care of any pet! I’m so glad Lainey is so happy when they’re hanging out, and I have someone trustworthy I can turn to when I need extra help.

Ryan was an excellent dog sitter! He was kind, friendly, and very attentive to my dog’s needs. From the beginning, he was easy to communicate with and made me feel comfortable leaving my pet in his care. Ryan clearly enjoys working with animals and treated my dog with patience and care. I really appreciated his reliability and positive attitude. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and friendly dog sitter.

All my reactive dog parents can understand how truly impossible it can feel at times to find someone who is comfortable handling an anxious and sometimes explosive dog. And because of this, I only let a few close family members handle my dog. But that wasn’t an option when I got sick…so thank god for Mandy! We did a meet and greet at our local park and they took the time to get to know Ludo, his triggers and temperament, and was incredibly respectful of our positive reinforcement training. They truly have a gift for animals and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of my guy. So if you have a reactive dog and need someone you can trust to show up with compassion, patience, and professionalism…choose Mandy!
