“Dan is a Dog Whisperer. He always makes my little hero Pirate one of the pack in his pooch-friendly home. We’ve left Pirate with him before, but this was for 17 days. Pirate had such a good time with Dan and his dogs that when we reunited today, Pirate gave me kind of a side eye that said, “Hey, I like hanging out here. No rush to come home.” Seriously though, Dan has a very warm, calming presence and we’ll call on him again! Thank you!”

Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed. Our pup can even be a finicky eater and they were kind to try different treats to entice him to eat. Upon pickup Axel was the most calm I’ve ever see him after a time away from us. All this to say- Axel would be thrilled to go back! We highly recommend Buddy’s Retreat.”

Nancy did everything to make us feel comfortable! Nancy was so accommodating. She even let me pick him up extremely late when my plane was delayed coming home. We would absolutely recommend Nancy to anyone needing someone trustworthy to watch their dog, and we plan on using her many more times!”
