“Irina and family took incredible care of dog Stevie. She was adopted and is slow to warm to new people. She loved her new caretaking family. We so appreciated the daily checkins and pictures of Stevie living her best life. They took her to beach a couple times. So appreciate knowing that Stevie was so well cared for while we were away. Couldn't be happier with Irina's caretaking.”

“Loving, caring and the perfect sitter - wonderful to our dog, sends a bunch of updates, very communicative, takes such good care of our little boy... Albina is the BEST!”

“Great with my dog Austin, felt like I left him with family the way I got daily updates and occasional photos. I’m glad I found a home away from home for my soul dog”

“Yulia was fantastic! My usually timid dog Daisy warmed up to her immediately. Yulia also made sure to send us a ton of pictures and videos while we were away, which brought us comfort while we were away. Her communication, care and friendliness was A+. We won’t hesitate booking with her again in the future!”

“Yvonne was so so amazing! I booked with her last minute and she cared for my pup so well! I received plentiful phots every day (amazing photographer too)! She communicated everything so clearly and timely. Will definitely book with her again if chance encounters!”

“Bertha was wonderful! I am hesitant to leave my dog with new people but Eugene settled in so easily with Bertha P. She was incredibly thoughtful about pictures and updates, and that made my time away so much more relaxing!”

“Cathy did a wonderful job looking after our kitty Franklin. He’s 7months old and this was our first time boarding him. But Cathy shares lots of pics and updates with us. And it looks like Franklin had a great time with her kiddos! Thanks Cathy!”

“Just picked up the happiest/ chilled boy fromJessica - he had the BEST stay with them and will miss he’s new bestie Fang ! THANKYOU for taking such great care of him !”

“Katrina has taken care of my elderly dog for two weeks while I was on an Asia trip. She was the best person for my dog to look after - kept up with the consistent communication, checked up on his health, and gave him the best walks. When I picked up my dog, he looked SO happy and even looked better!! My dog currently misses her after we left so I need to book her again soon!! 😂”

“I had a great first time Rover experience because of Magdalena. Primarily, I was looking for a close location and price, and the bonus was that she also has a senior dog in her pack. She is a true professional and a genuine compassionate dog lover. If you’re looking for active, expert level, tailor made care, excellent communication, and reliability, please don’t hesitate to book with Magdalena. 🫶🏽”

“Teresa took great care of our dog, Andre, over the weekend. She was communicative, kind, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Andre came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely trust Teresa to watch him again and highly recommend her!”

“Bianca did a great job watching our dog Greg. The communication was great throughout and there were lots of updates. I’m so glad our pups got along well and Greg was well taken care of.”

“Diana is a great dog sitter and very communicative. My dog really liked her and the environment. I highly recommend Diana to everyone. Thank you so much for taking care of my dog while I was out of town :)”

“Tamar was fantastic! She was very responsive and asked great questions before watching my dog Rus. She sent a ton of photos while Rus was with her, and I could tell he was super comfortable and having a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Tamar!”

“Dan is a Dog Whisperer. He always makes my little hero Pirate one of the pack in his pooch-friendly home. We’ve left Pirate with him before, but this was for 17 days. Pirate had such a good time with Dan and his dogs that when we reunited today, Pirate gave me kind of a side eye that said, “Hey, I like hanging out here. No rush to come home.” Seriously though, Dan has a very warm, calming presence and we’ll call on him again! Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Margaret was an absolute godsend for so many reasons. Firstly, she was available last minute when our initial plans fell through a few days prior. Secondly, she was available during the 4th of July, which is a notoriously hard weekend for many doggos. And lastly, she was so so patient in meeting our very nervous and anxious dog. She was communicative, sent the cutest photos, and clearly loves taking care of dogs! She has lots of treats and blankets and puts them in the best care possible. We’re so thankful for Margaret and how much she cared for our girl both last minute and during a chaotic weekend. We already have her booked for a future trip!

For my family, the most stressful part of any vacation or trip is leaving behind our cherished pup. Daria helped soothe that concern with daily photos proving that our pup was having a great time while we were away. Moments before the trip he had an unexpected injury to his paw and she went above and beyond to help nurse him back to full health, again while providing us with regular updates of his healing. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Irina and her daughters took amazing care of my senior Shih Tzu while I was away for 10 days. They handled his dietary restrictions and medications very well. Irina gave at least daily updates, communication was great. He seemed very happy in pictures and when I picked him up. I will definitely be using Irina again!

Found my perfect dog sitter! Jonalyn did an exceptional job of taking care of our babies for 2 weeks. She kept us in the loop with daily pics and videos. I could tell how much she showered our dogs with love and attention with their daily walks, lots of hugs and playtime. Booking with her was a breeze and I know that in the future, I won't hesitate to book Jonalyn again.

Cathy took great care of our PitBull in her own house during our 5-day getaway to San Francisco. She took Toulouse on daily walks and was diligent with sending photos several times a day. The only thing I will do differently the next time around is I will bring Toulouse’s bed to her place, so he doesn’t get nervous and fidgety at night. We had forgotten to bring his bed along but Cathy graciously lent Toulouse one. Dogs, like people, are creatures of habits and they sleep better in their own bed. Cathy took Toulouse everywhere with her, her teen boys were playing with him, giving him treats, and that was a bonus. Thank you, Cathy!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
