There is also an abundance of freshly laundered, plush blankets, a cozy, soft UGG indoor bed designed especially for the smaller pups and a matching plush bed for my bigger fur babies . For outdoor relaxation, there’s a 42-inch raised canopy bed that offers generous space for small and medium-sized dogs while creating a cool, shaded retreat on sunny days, and with our secure, fenced yard right off the back door, I feel at ease knowing they can safely frolic and play during their stay. House sitting: I care for your home and pets as if they were my own, creating a secure and comfortable environment in your absence. I follow their regular routine to maintain stability, from feeding and exercise to playtime and affection. I also stay attentive to home security, ensuring doors and windows are properly secured and keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. Dog walks: Ensuring your dog’s safety and enjoyment during walks is my top priority. I ensure leashes and harnesses are properly fitted to maintain control and prevent potential injuries. By staying alert to traffic, other animals, and environmental hazards, I navigate routes that keep your dog safe and comfortable. Additionally, I monitor weather conditions to adjust the length and timing of walks, avoiding extreme temperatures that could affect your dog’s well-being. I'm SO GLAD we found Margaret! She took care of my dog Owen for 7 days and was SO incredibly responsive and communicative. We started out with a meet-and-greet and she asked really thoughtful questions to gauge his temperament and needs. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, no issues, and she had clearly read through his care notes and was on top of it. She sent a ton of photos of Owen throughout his time there and was incredibly mindful of his unique personality and how to manage it with the other dogs that were under her care. Owen's day was full of activities and as a dog with separation anxiety, she accommodated his needs and took him with her when she was out and about. I was nervous at first to leave him with someone new, but I felt at ease and will be hiring Margaret in the future for day-drop offs and extended stays. I will also be recommending her to family and friends.
