“Magdalena is such a wonderful and nice sitter my dog Oreo loves her and her family…she treats Oreo like her own and I’m so grateful for her….I would recommend anyone to book her services!!! 👍🏽 she’s the best sitter 👌🏽”

“Albina took such good care of our pup Brookie! She always kept us in mind sending up photos, and updates on her status! She was also very easy to contact and very helpful when needing clarification! 10/10!!”

“Hillary was great with Oliver. She was super patient and understanding of his needs and slight anxiety. I appreciated her communication style and updates. Would definitely book again”

“Irina is awesome! She boarded my 2 cats for 3 nights and they were in such excellent hands. Irina was great at asking for how to make them feel the most comfortable away from home and provided regular updates and pics on how they were doing. I will be booking with her again for kitty care!”

“Wonderful dog loving family that took excellent care of my 2 dogs (Shiba and Cavalier King Charles) while I was away for 2 weeks. The dogs felt right at home, received lots of affection, and I received pics throughout their stay. Will definitely leave my dogs in their care again!”

“Kimberly was absolutely amazing! My dog loved her and her dogs and took to her place immediately. Kimberly was prompt, responsive, and took plenty of pictures so show how my Bella was doing! I would use her anytime and would recommend her to anyone :)”

“Charlie had a great time with Janice and her boys. Lots of play time and cuddles. And she checked in with me often, sending lots of photos and video while I was away. I’ll happily bring Charlie again!”

“Another outstanding stay with Selien. We love how attentive she is with our dog, she takes wonderful care of him and I know he is very loved. Looking forward to next time!”

“If you are looking for a spectacular sitter, hire Steven! He went above and beyond for our pup, keeping us posted every step of the way with great photos. Our dog has separation anxiety, but Steven handled it flawlessly by dedicating lots of quality time to him and taking him on frequent daily walks. We couldn't have asked for better peace of mind. Highly recommended!”

“We had Penny stay just 1 night with Angelica and it was great! She was very communicative, friendly, and took great care of Penny. She even came back having eaten all her food, which is a good sign that she was comfortable and relaxed.”

“We live several hours away and needed someone to watch our pup while we went on a cruise. I searched for someone and found Yulia! She had experience with dogs, she has no dogs, she takes one client at a time plus dogs are allowed on the bed. PERFECT 👌 Yulia knew how hard it was for me to leave Taco. His first time. She sent photos right away! She let me know how he was feeling and how he did throughout the day and night. We had awesome communication during his stay plus photos and videos. They truly helped me. He went on long walks and received a lot of loving from both Julia and her husband. Mr. Taco also learned a new trick!! She taught him to lay down! I'm truly thankful and grateful to have found Yulia. I hope she's available when I need her next! I may change my schedule to fit hers! Warm hugs. ❤️”

“GRATEFUL! I’m soooooo happy I found Paul on Rover. It made me feel like I should have tried Rover sooner! I was terrified to leave my dog in a strangers house. Beyond scared. My dog normally stays at a dog boarding place with doggie day care. But my dog had a sudden medical condition that required more attention. I had to find someone within three days of my trip so I looked on rover. I read about 28 profiles before I read Paul’s. I contacted him, met him and I felt GREAT and confident about his dog handling abilities as well as his genuine love for dogs. He cares and walks for other dogs in his building and the neighbors knew him. He has the place doggie proof- my dog WILL find food and has the determination to get to it if accessible. But my dog didn’t get into anything! He came home safe & cared for.”

“Adrienne took great care for our pug dog. She sent me photos while we were away so we could see she was happy. When Midge came home, she was very content. She felt very at home with Adrienne. We would definitely use her again on our next trip.”

“Laura was so amazing with our dog. She provided so many updates and pictures. We have a nervous dog and needed someone that understood how to care for a dog with anxiety. In the updates she sent, we saw how comfortable our pup was with her to the point she was sleeping belly up and at ease. She took her on walks and adventures and did all the enrichment activities Evie needed. I would 100 percent trust her with my dog. Book her. She’s amazing.”

“Joyce did an amazing job taking care of our Labrador, Hankie! She was kind, patient, and gave Hankie so much love and attention while we were away. Joyce kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. Hankie came home happy, well-cared for, and clearly enjoyed his time with her and her roommate. We are so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and caring. Highly recommend Joyce to anyone looking for top-notch pet care!”

“Josie is amazing! Kind, thoughtful and an animal lover. Phil had the best week in her home and he keeps dragging me to her house. Very grateful and can’t recommend Josie more highly! Look forward to next time already.”

“Luan took great care of Mikey! He was instantly comfortable meeting her for the first time and was happy to play with her dog. Luan also provided daily updates with photos/videos which I really appreciated.”

“Eva was kind and understanding with our 13 year old Maltipoo rescue. She immediately made Portia feel at home, so much so that even after one overnight visit, Portia started whining as we drove away from Eva's place the next day. We will be using Eva again at the end of the month for a longer stay!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highland Park
This was the first time using Rover and we couldn't have lucked out with a better pet sitter! Stephanie and RJ had us over for a meet & greet ahead of time to make sure Dezi fit in with their pack. That meant so much to us since it was our first time using the app. During the trip, they sent lots of photos and communicated every day. When we had an unexpected flight cancelation, they were so nice about us having to pick her up late. We were one meal short on her dog food because of the delay, and they even stopped by the store to pick some up. They truly treated Dezi like one of their own, and made us feel so at ease being away.

Better than great! Margaret was incredibly accommodating and communicative, took great care of our dogs. She has a perfect indoor outdoor setup and really cares about the animals. Made sure they were safe, had fun, and engaged with them a ton. I’ll be booking with her many times to come.

We booked Hilary last minute because our usual sitter became unavailable. We had a trip to Italy planned, and I was so stressed to leave Pebbles somewhere new while being out of the country, but HILARY WAS AMAZING!! We fell in love with the way she cared for Pebbles instantly. She had no problem with her feeding times, walks, crate needs, and even eye medication. She sent us SO MANY fun and cute pictures of Pebbles while we were out of the country that I felt super reassured. She was flexible with the pick up time (we know how LAX can be), and even willing to take an additional emergency contact while we were out of country. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anyone kinder, more loving, or more communicative. I will definitely request her again, and I am so glad Pebbles found a temporary home there. Thank you for everything!

Our dog, Winnie, loves staying with Julianne! She has been such a godsend over the last few months, most recently watching Winnie for a few weeks while we were in Japan. She’s always sending updates and Winnie is always super excited to see her. Honestly the sweetest.

Miry and her two sons took very good care of Brax! He fit in very well will their family and I could tell that Brax was as very comfortable during the meet and greet and weekend visit. Miry kept us well informed the whole time and he was visibly very excited. We would definitely book with Miry moving forward.

Liridona was the absolute best dog sitter! She constantly sent us photo updates, which gave us total peace of mind. On the day of pickup, she even gave my dog a bath before bringing him out to us. Our flight was delayed, so we ended up picking him up an hour later than planned, but she was incredibly understanding and accommodating. We will absolutely be booking with her again next time

Suellen was wonderful and responded quickly to my last minute request. Everything went smoothly and she made me feel very confident my dog was in good hands with regular text communication and photo updates! I will be reaching back out to Suzy next time I need a dog sitter. Thank you!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
