About Roxanne:

It is important when you leave your pet in someone’s care, you can relax and know they will be well taken care of. I started my licensed business because I myself have hired people to care for my own animals and had the same expectations. I am completely devoted to giving animals the best possible experience when they are under my supervision. I am in the middle of getting nationally certified as a Dog Trainer so there will be a lot of advantages bringing your dog to me! I was involved with a rescue organization for over 10 years in the late 90's and have come across a huge array of circumstances in dealing with animals. Rest assured, I know what I am doing, I have excellent instincts, and I have a deep connection with animals.

Being a pet lover runs in my family. My grandmother was the owner and trainer of the chimpanzee in the Tarzan pictures back in the 50s. My Aunt Bernice and Uncle George were the MGM trainers for all the wildlife and domesticated animals used in all the films back in the 50s and 60s. As a child, I always felt lucky because my mother allowed me to follow my intuition and rescue every lizard, bird, frog, cat, and dog that I felt needed extra love and attention. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I have a passion for both rescuing and an innate ability to care for all types of animals, especially cats and dogs. I learned at a young age that I had a special connection with animals and as an adult, I was able to channel my passion into a career where I get to provide cats and dogs with love and special attention.

In addition to having cared for approximately 75 of my own pets over the last 36 years, I also spent 10 years volunteering for a rescue group called New Hope for Animals in Los Angeles. My experience there was incredibly rewarding and quite the education!

Please let me prove to you that your pets will be in the best hands!

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

**Why I love caring for dogs:

My first experience was when I was 1 year old, we had a German Shepard named "Rusty." My family has always had dogs as well as other animals. I come from a background of animals trainers & cannot think of a time that I was without a cat or dog! They are an intricate part of my life, always have been, & always will be!

*Thank you for reading my profile. ROVER customer Service will help you with any questions or assist you with any concerns that you may have.

About my yard

My yard is very spacious, clean, fully fenced in & is doggie proofed with plenty of water for hydration. There are areas of shade from the huge Avocado tree & sun for sunbathing which all of the dogs love! People are shocked when they see this best little kept secret in the heart of Hollywood! COVID-19 Update:

We realize the rapidly unfolding events pose new questions about everyday life. We have always had the measures in place to keep your dog safe in our care, including cleaning with anti-bacterial cleaners, sanitizing crates between clients, washing food/water bowls on high heat daily, and washing cloth materials (beds, blankets, soft toys) weekly with allergy-safe detergent.

But now we're taking extra precautions for our human clients too! We ask that you wear a mask for the meet-and-greet and maintain social distance while in our home. Our furniture has been arranged to help facilitate this.

Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way for pick-ups/drop-offs. Please wait in or near your car until I come outside. We often have clients arriving around the same time and want to ensure you do not have close proximity to other clients.

Our home is here for you and your dogs in this time of absolute weirdness.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

My name is Hannah and I've been working with breed-specific rescue groups for the past four years. We maintain the highest quality of safety and hygiene standards. As a "puppy proof" home, we have always used veterinarian grade cleaning products to minimize bacteria. In case of severe illnesses, injuries, natural disasters, etc, I have enough crates to transport dogs in a crash-tested transport crate. Our home has the required measures in place to keep your dog safe (and happy!).

**Policies**

Meet and Greet Policy:

Meet and greets are required of all boarding and daycare guests. We typically host meet and greets at our home, so that pet owners have a sense of where their pet will be staying. This also gives us the opportunity to discuss their care and determine if it's a good fit on both ends.

Please note, we do host multiple dogs at a time in our home. This includes dogs of both sexes, all ages, and across the size spectrum. For this reason, dogs that are comfortable with other dogs is a MUST.

YES - We love your bully breed. No breed discrimination here!

We do accept unneutered males but do not accept unspayed females past six months of age.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pick-up and Drop-off Policies:

All drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment. I do occasionally leave the house for a couple of hours at a time, so please let me know when requesting a booking what pickup and drop-off times work for you so that I can plan accordingly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Our time frame restrictions are strict. Our neighbors on either side have small children. To be respectful of our community, we will not be able to accommodate requests outside of these hours.

Monday Through Friday Hours

Boarding Pick-up and Drop-off: 7:30am - 9:00pm

Daycare Pick-up and Drop-off: 7:00am - 7:00pm.

On weekends and holidays, we start drop-offs at 8:30 am for both daycare and boarding.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to demand, we are no longer accepting new daycare clients. We are happy to make referrals to local sitters, should that be a service you need.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

We are happy to work around your dog's specific needs, but we do not have the capability to work with the following dogs:

-Unvaccinated dogs: We must comply with state laws, and this means having access to your dog’s rabies records. Please bring these to your meet and greet or ask your vet to send an electronic copy to me.

*Current titer tests are also acceptable*

-Heavy Barkers: Our neighborhood is mostly young families and older residents. To respect our neighbors' bedtimes and naptimes, we cannot accommodate dogs that are very vocal.

-Aggression: Either towards people or dogs. We cannot accommodate dogs who have aggression towards any particular breed, size, etc.

-Severe separation anxiety: In order to keep a relaxed, social, and safe environment for all of our guest dogs, we cannot accept dogs that have severe separation anxiety, including dogs that are destructive when left alone, snap at other dogs when introduced, etc.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

About the "Home Dog"

My dog, Jango Fett, is the result of my failed attempt at "fostering". It was love at first sight, and so Jango found his forever home. Since then, Jango and I have worked with numerous shelters and rescue groups to transport, evaluate temperament, and interview potential adopters for rescue groups. I just finished my Master's degree at USC and work from home. I spend much of my day balancing conference calls and fetch, a really fun life!

Typical Schedule at Jango's House:

-6:00/7:00 - Wake up and potty break (yard)

-7:00/7:30 - 10-20 minute walk (boarding dogs only)

-7:30 - Breakfast

-7:30 - 10:30 - Daycare dogs arrive; one-on-one introductions with dogs

-10:30-4:30 - Free play, going indoors and outdoors as weather allows

-4:30-7:30 - Daycare dogs depart

-5:00/7:00 - Dinner (depending on individual feeding schedules)

-8:00/8:30 - 10-20 minute walk (boarding dogs only)

-9:00 - Winding down time

As a dog owner, I know that finding a caretaker that you can trust to provide reliable, safe service can be a real struggle. I work hard to build trust with clients and their pets. This way, each time I provide care, both you and your dog/cat are able to fully relax.

I offer a full spectrum of services to meet the needs of all clients. My home, located in East Los Angeles, houses boarding and daycare services. We have TWO large fenced yards for lots of playtime.

In addition to the premium insurance provided by Rover, I am bonded + insured by a policy from PetCare Insurance that provides extra protection for both your home and your pets. I am more than happy to provide a copy of this policy to my clients for peace of mind. Trust and transparency are my key concerns, and I am looking forward to building wonderful relationships with clients all over Los Angeles.

Send a request to schedule a free, no-obligation Meet & Greet. I'm looking forward to hearing how I can help you and your furry family members.

Echo Bark: A home away from home!Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA

Echo Bark provides the comfort and care of an experienced, loving home with a myriad of playtime activities and outdoorsy fun like hiking the local parks and exploring the neighborhood.

My name's Sylvia. My husband, Ethan, and I are creative freelancers who work mostly from home--he is a musician who records in Los Angeles and tours worldwide, while I'm a freelance writer and a private English tutor.

We rescued two stray pups--a sister and a brother, who we found huddled in the middle of a busy intersection--and since then, they have been part of our loving family. Prior to that, we grew up as children with family dogs and cats and my husband once had a few years experience under his belt as a professional dog walker in Malibu.

Our property is flanked by shady bamboo and brilliant bougainvilleas for those pups who enjoy basking in the dappled shade outdoors.

Among other amenities, we provide our pups filtered water and freshly grown wheat grass. Inside our dog resting room, they can enjoy vaulted ceilings with big windows for adequate ventilation, cool concrete floors and extra bedding/pillows for the overnighters (although it's advisable that you bring your own to introduce familiar smells.) Prior to their stay, we do require that the pups have their flea meds and shots up-to-date.

In addition, we take our dogs on neighborhood strolls. We regularly frequent the newly renovated Echo Park Lake. Hike the dog-friendly paths of Elysian Park and Solana Park, frequent the Historic public staircase--all within walking vicinity of our home.

LIST OF SERVICES:

- Overnight boarding ($43/night)*

- Daycare service ($33/day-up to 10 hrs)*

- Extended daycare ($38/day-over 10 hrs)

-For puppies that are less than 1 yo (daycare is $35 and overnight is $45)

Extra services provided:

- Bathing Sessions ($20)

- We do offer pickup and drop-off transportation for a flat fee ($20 for pickup or drop-off; or $35 for both pickup and drop-off (must be within a 7-8 mi radius from our home)

*For major holidays, rates for overnighters and daycare sessions are $50 due to the heavy demands of the season. They include:

Fourth of July (Jul 4th)

Halloween (Oct 31st)

Thanksgiving (Nov 24th to 27th)

Christmas + New Years combined (from Dec 24th to Jan 1st)

-Next day pick-up for overnighter boarding is usually gratis and we have a flexible policy; however, if the time extends past 1pm then we will charge the regular daycare rate and you have the option of picking your pup up until 7pm. Or an extended daycare rate will be added if pickup is past 7:30pm.

A Home Away from Home!Central City, Los Angeles, CA

Welcome to my profile! My name is Rebecca. I am a stay at home mom who loves all kinds of animals. I have been sitting through Rover now for about 6 years and have had such a wonderful time getting to know so many doggies and their owners. I am available during Covid19 please contact me if you need assistance!

My small cozy home is perfect for your pups. It has a large yard with a high fence, plenty of shady spots, and lots of room to play. There is a local park that's great for walking dogs. My daughter is a little dog whisper and all the pups love when she gets home from school! I do request that your dogs be good with children.

I offer discounted prices for multiple night stays and monthly work hour daycare. I am available for pickup and drop off services within the local vicinity. I send out photo's daily and a summary of your pup's day. For long stays your pup will always be returning home freshly bathed and brushed. I understand most dogs are on a special diet, and request that the owner provide enough food for the duration of the stay. I am available everyday starting at 6:30 am and almost every major holiday.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Why I love dog sitting

I've had dogs from the time I was a baby until my early 20's. As a kid I can't remember a time when I didn't have at least one dog following me around. To me dogs just give me a feeling of safety and love you can't get anywhere else.

About my yard

I have a large L shaped backyard part is K9 artificial turf and part is concrete. There are trees that provide shade also a large canopy area for additional shade. The entire yard is surrounded in 6 foot fence with a gate that is about 10 foot tall and locked on the inside. Outdoor cameras are installed as well.

My experience administering medication

As long as proper instructions are included I have no problem administering oral or injected medications.

Passionate dog lover in HollywoodHollywood, Los Angeles, CA

I am a writer with the privilege of working from home. I love animals and I am happy to take care for your dog in times of need. I take this job very seriously, though I love dogs so much, it barely feels like a job. I grew up taking care of eight dogs in my house in Brazil. Now I live in Hollywood, CA, with my rescue Chihuahua, in an extremely dog friendly apartment building with lots of dogs and a large fenced dog run. I miss my dogs in Brazil, so I am happy to be able to do this for others. With me, dogs will feel comfortable and loved, have fun, and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. I offer to exercise with them for no extra charge at your request. I can guarantee you will feel relaxed and at ease while your dogs are in my care, as I send daily pictures and updates. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions you might have.

It's the leash I can doAzusa, CA

Hi everyone, my name is Briana & I absolutely ADORE dogs & cats! I have worked from home for about 8 years now so I rarely leave my house (unless I take my doggy out for a walk or to play). I have a 7 year old golden retriever and he loves playing with other dogs! Throughout the day I'll take my dog outside for a long walk, exercise outdoors, or play fetch in my yard where there is a nice large grass area and a 7' tall gate. I have been a dogsitter for close friends & relatives and pay extra attention to their little furry ones so I wanted to offer my genuine love of pets for others. Alongside doggies I am now caring for Cats, while your away they can play! I am glad to drop in at your home and visit your cats (change litter, refill food/water, and have some kitty playtime), I also send photos and videos during my visits. I am very caring with doggies & cats and I make sure they eat, get enough exercise, and if sick make sure they get their proper medication. I understand how it feels to be at work all day and worry about your loved furry pal at home so now I hope I can be honored to watch your baby and you will have nothing to worry about. It's the leash I can do!!

**Like everyone else, I am taking the ever-changing news of COVID-19 day by day, the health and safety of my team (dogs/cats) and the doggy community is my number one priority. I will continue to monitor health safety guidelines for myself and my doggy visitors. For now, I will remain open and in business while safely maintaining my home for my doggy team. Please do not hesitate to come visit! During this time of crisis, The Leash I Can Do is willing to do anything to help out the community, so in turn I can honor a partial discount during this time for any bookings made while we are all taking necessary precautions against COVID-19.**

A huge thank you to my doggy clients, future clients, and doggy community and thank you for your continued support. With Gratitude,

Long walks and Dog Park I love dogsMid City West, Los Angeles, CA

I believe dogs are one of life's greatest joys. Presently I am a chihuahua mom but My last lifetime dog was a 85lb female pit bull. I am not intimidated by this breed or other quirky larger breeds. I have learned through experience the subtle signs dogs project warning of anxiety or aggravation and know how to divert a problem before it begins. I also understand some dogs need special attention and respect the needs of your pet to make the experience as beneficial as possible. I also have grooming tools appropriate for large and small breeds and find that brushing a dog often increases the trust bond instantly. Long walks and hikes with your dog are a pleasure to me. My availability is excellent since I work from home and my schedule is flexible.
