“Joyce is great! You can tell she has a natural connection to animals. Our dog took a liking to her right away, and gets along wonderfully with her two dogs. We plan on using her services whenever we need a sitter in the future.”

“This is our 2nd time with Pimpaka! As always, she kept me posted every time and treats my pet the best way possible! I’m planning another booking with her if she’s not busy. ☺️ Thank you Pimpaka!”

“Joe was wonderful and gave us lots of photos and updates while we were out of town. It was a relief to have peace of mind that Joe provided us while we boarded Sophie. We will definitely return to Joe again. Thanks so much, Joe!!”

“Yueli is such a wonderful pet sitter! My two Frenchies stayed with her for almost two weeks, and she cared for them like her own. As a nervous dog mom, I usually worry a lot, but Yueli eased all my concerns and kept me at peace the whole time.”

“Biscuit had an amazing time here. It was like a second home. Angelica was amazing with communication and updates. Will definitely use her in the future for all biscuit care!”

“Amanda is AMAZING! Her communication, the updates, the understanding! Legend had a great time and for my first time leaving him with a complete stranger she made me feel as if he was with family! Looking forward to using her for every travel!”

“Adrienne and Mike were a great team in caring for Sadie, our 14 pound 7 year old cockapoo. Sadie is a bit timid and has only stayed with one previous caregiver. So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

“Selien is the dream!!! Our dog always has the best time and I can relax knowing she is loved and well taken care of. Selien is super consistent with updates and photos each day and is the gold standard in dog sitting!”

“David was AMAZING!!! 🤩 So responsive, flexible, & accommodating during the booking process. This was the first time we dropped our dog off overnight with a sitter. When we met David, we felt immediately at ease with him & knew our dog would be in good hands (& he was!). David was very calm & centering for Gus & gave us updates during the stay. He was very attentive, making sure Gus was comfortable & happy! Look forward to booking with David again in the future! Thanks so much! ❤️”

“Zac was great with our critters. Upon pickup I could tell they were well taken care of. His house is in a great place as well, with lots of trees and space for all animals. Would definitely use him again!”

“I cannot begin to explain how grateful i am for Sylvia and Ethan. Amazing amazing amazing people , hands down super happy with how much they helped me !!! Long story made short I had traveled to Cali to pick up my new dog Fendi, unfortunately no airline is allowing dogs in cargo so I was told by two diff airlines due to COVID. So since we didn’t not reside in Cali we had to hire a pup transport company and a dog sitter. And that’s when I found Rover. I had to find a sitter for a week so that the transport company can drive down here to Miami, fl. Thanks to god I found these amazing people that took amazing care of my dog Took care of her as if she were one of their own. I am truly beyond grateful for everything you guys did for Fendi. She spent 1 Week with you guys and she was in great hands. Truly Blessed Thank You !!!!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Gabriel
We've left Gawain with Jing for daycare several times but yesterday was our first boarding experience. It went so well!!! She was super responsive, accommodating, and paid attention to the instructions I left her. When we picked up Gawain, he looked well-rested and almost didn't want to leave 😂 Thank you so much again Jing!!!

Natalia was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we met her, she was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Avalon in her care. It was clear that she cared for Avalon just as I would, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She sent great updates, was incredibly flexible, and made the entire experience so easy. Most importantly, Avalon was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well loved! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch her. We will absolutely be using Natalia again and would recommend her without hesitation! ❤️🐾

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
