Then I joined the pet care industry doing dog walking, pet sitting, and dog boarding services. I got my certified Dog Day Care Owner and Basic Dog Training Certification along with Dog CPR certification. About: I'm a lifelong cat owner, but I've been pet sitting more seriously since I was 18 – so for fourteen years! My favorite part of pet sitting – whether it's drop in visits, house sitting, or dog walking – is getting to develop meaningful relationships with the animals I care for. I don't have much experience with training puppies, but I do have experience with dogs and cats at all stages of life. I'm comfortable with administering medications, fluids, cleaning up messes that happen! I've also had experience caring for and walking dogs who are unable to be around other dogs. I've rarely met an animal I didn't like, or who didn't like me – I think they know that I genuinely love to be around and spend time with them! Before any outside activities, I make sure the temperature isn't too hot and can defer to inside enrichment activities if outside temps are dangerous. During walks and playtime I remain attentive to not only your dog's behavior but the external environment to ensure both our safety. I provide text and picture updates at an agreed upon cadence. In the event accidents happen, you will be notified by text and voice immediately and necessary safety protocols will be followed.

About: I'm absolutely crazy about animals. I prefer them over the company of humans and will be that person playing with your pet at any gathering. I've had many cats my whole life (always a minimum of 2 at a time) and their temperaments have ranged from the hissing loner to the friendly ones that follow me on a walk around the neighbourhood. I co-raised a very un-loyal husky for 8 years (her loyalty lay with whoever had food) and also take care of friends and family's dogs whenever the situation arises. I'm more than happy to give whatever attention your fur baby needs, whether it be a peaceful walk filled with compliments or some good ol' rough housing. I'll make sure to feed your baby only the things you deem worthy of their stomach.

About: Lived in a multi-dog household for over 15 years providing care to pups of all ages (newborn puppies to seniors). Experienced in puppy care, senior care, medication administration, and rescue pups needing a little extra attention as they're getting adjusted to their new furrever homes. Although I don't personally provide training, I've had experience in going through training for our own pups and can support in maintaining the training that you have already in place. Guests are provided with care full-time. I'm available throughout the week and are generally flexible with pick up and drop off times. Though there may be some slight adjustments to the our daily routine, a general idea of our schedule for boarding consists of.. 6:30am potty break and playtime 7am breakfast and continued playtime 8:30am lounge/nap time Potty breaks every 3-4 hours 12:00pm -2:00pm Afternoon playtime some time during this time frame if the weather permits 5:30pm-7:00pm dinner around this time frame Evening play until 7:30pm-8pm 11:00pm for a final potty break We live in a fenced home that is double gated with a large spacious backyard. Guests are only allowed outside when there is human supervision. Guests are welcome to wrestle and play chase; however, if we do see there is an escalation in energy levels then we do a quick reset and separate guests for several minutes before returning to a lower energy of play behavior.
