About: I come from a family that has loved and raised 3 bulldogs. Two out of three of those bulldogs were in our care starting from when they were 6 months old. Growing up, I would often have to babysit my pets when my parents went on trips. I am no stranger to big, strong dogs or how rough they like to play. I am also familiar with dogs who are not friendly with other dogs. I had a Shiba Inu and a bulldog who were not friendly with other dogs. When it comes to pets like that, I’m very careful and aware of my surroundings. I will always respect a pet’s boundaries. I understand that pets are considered family and should be treated as such. I previously lived with a family that had multiple cats in their care. I loved chilling and playing with them. Living in that house taught me that (unlike most dogs) most cats have their boundaries and will have to come to you. Pets of all sizes and breeds bring me a lot of joy. As much as I love dogs, I have a soft spot for cats and hope to have one of my own someday. I am currently unemployed and graduated college a year ago, so I have a flexible weekday schedule. Weekends are slightly restrictive since I like to allot that time for my personal life. The house I currently live in has a zero-tolerance policy for pets. However, I am capable of following instructions and caring for pets - having lived with my parents who owned dogs, cats, turtles, and hamsters as I was growing up.

We booked Laura to stay overnight in our home to care for our 4 dogs, one of them was a 9 week old puppy who needed lots of love and attention. I highly recommend Chris. She came in fur the meet and greet and sat right on the floor. Bob is the most shy of the 3, but he came out to see what was going on. During the stay Bob needed meds and she more than willing to try anything. She couldn't pick him up, cause they just met so it to be crushed and hidden in his food. When I returned I couldn't even tell she had been here. Fabulous!

Jovi can be quite particular with whom he is comfortable with, so it was a great sign that he did not bark at Polli at our meet and greet. When she arrived for sitting, he was just fine with her in the apartment and didn't try to bark at her to leave. It is always nice to feel your dog is comfortable when leaving! I was gone for a week and when I got home Jovi was clearly well cared for. Polli did a great job getting new pony tails for him so he could see, the house was clean, and Jovi was in good spirits!
