“Hayley was amazing! So communicative and thorough in the details, and even had some helpful insight for some health stuff with our dog that we weren’t aware of! We’re very much looking forward to having her watch Willow again. ?”

“Chris was absolutely amazing! She house sat and dog sat our 2 little dogs for two weeks and within that time she quickly developed a wonderful relationship with the dogs. She sent daily updates and photos, and her comments were always thoughtful and gave us great peace of mind. Chris really does care about the animals she looks after! she was a wonderful house guest, and everything was clean and tidy when we returned home. We will definitely use Chris again!!”

“Avery was simply the best puppy/house sitter we could ask for. Our puppy fell in love with her and we got many smiling pictures and videos of him while we were away. Her job wasn't easy-- she was here over the 4th of July with a puppy who is very scared of fireworks. But she handled the situation with confidence and comforted our dog like a absolute pro. She truly went above and beyond to not only care for our active puppy, but care for our house as well. We could not recommend her more. Thanks, Avery!”

About: Your pet is family, and I truly understand how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away. I’m a mature, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter who provides calm, attentive, and loving care in your home, hotel, or wherever you’re staying in Monterey County. I specialize in one-on-one pet sitting and focus on giving your dog my full attention. Whether you’re a local, traveling for work, or visiting the area on vacation, I’m happy to come to you — homes, hotels, vacation rentals, or other approved locations. I’m very responsible, patient, and understanding of dogs’ individual needs and personalities. My goal is to create a relaxed, safe environment so your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I enjoy meeting new people and dogs and take pride in building trust with both. You can expect consistent communication, dependability, and genuine care every step of the way. My commitment is simple: to make sure your pet is safe, happy, and very well taken care of — just as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing them with the attention and care they deserve. I offer flexible availability for in-home and hotel pet sitting throughout Monterey County. I am available weekdays and weekends and schedule my commitments around each booking to provide reliable, attentive care. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, hotels, or vacation rentals, following all instructions closely. I prioritize safety, routines, cleanliness, calm energy, and one-on-one attention to ensure pets feel secure and comfortable.
About: Use code ELAINH89783 for $20 off your first booking! With over five years of pet sitting experience, I bring genuine care, reliability, and calm attentiveness to every stay. Because I have no pets of my own, your dog receives my complete, undivided focus — no distractions, no divided loyalties. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds, from high-energy pups to senior companions, and I pride myself on respecting each pet’s unique routine and personality. I take direction seriously — whether from owners or veterinarians — and follow care instructions to the letter. Your home is treated with the same respect: I keep things tidy and leave everything exactly as I found it. My regular clients say it best: I’m the only sitter trusted to watch Haku, a spirited Shiba Inu who needs firm, loving boundaries. I’ve helped nurse Zula, a Taiwanese mountain dog, through a stroke and a serious infection — following vet aftercare with precision. I know how to keep an active dog engaged and an elderly dog comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pet like family, stays calm under pressure, and gives you genuine peace of mind while you’re away — I’d love to meet your dog. I voluntarily left my full time job so you have my undivided attention! I also work remote so my schedule is flexible and I’m very mobile! I treat your home and your pets with respect, kindness, compassion, and love. I’m a guest in your family’s home and would not do anything to jeopardize that relationship. At home, I make sure necessary doors and windows are closed and the space is clean tidy so no ingestion accidents happen. Before any outside activities, I make sure the temperature isn't too hot and can defer to inside enrichment activities if outside temps are dangerous. During walks and playtime I remain attentive to not only your dog's behavior but the external environment to ensure both our safety. I provide text and picture updates at an agreed upon cadence. In the event accidents happen, you will be notified by text and voice immediately and necessary safety protocols will be followed.
“Katherine is the best dog sitter, and trust me, it is better than you could have dreamt up. The communication is through, the rules are followed to a T, my apartment was better than I left it (sorry) and my dog was ecstatic to be with her. I will be booking Katherine as much as she can handle due to my work travel. Very appreciative dog dad!”

“Laura was fantastic! I have a 1 year old and an 11 year old dog, each with their own needs. She was wonderful and communicative during the 5 day I was away. I felt completely comfortable with her taking care of them. And when I came home, everything was in great shape and the dogs seemed very happy. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Jennifer listened to all our concerns and assuaged all our fears with house-sitting our dog for the first time. She was incredibly diligent and positive about the whole experience. She checked in regularly with photos and videos of our pup. Monty looked healthier and happier than when we had left!”

“Jessica did a great job dog sitting for my 3 dogs. She kept their routine the same and made them comfortable while I was gone for a week. I appreciated her frequent updates and pictures.”

“Joliana was so wonderful with our cat, Siri! We are always a little nervous to leave our elderly girl who has some light separation anxiety, and needs daily medication, but Joliana did great! She sent photos daily and assured us that Siri was relaxing and had no problem taking her medication. Joli also left our home in great condition. We would definitely hire her again in the future.”

Rosemead pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katherine never ceases to amaze me with her thoughtfulness over my dog. He was recently in recovery mode from a surgery and I had a last minute work trip across the country. Katherine truly gave Cash the VIP treatment and put my mind at ease. 10/10 woulda recommend. Will be returning.

This was my first time using Rover. I was very concerned as my older dog had some health issues arise right before I left. Alvin was amazing. He was constantly advising me about my dogs and any change of normal behavior. He was able to take care of the meds she needed and all was good. I was also surprised my dogs went for walks with him, as I was certain they would not go with someone else. He truly cared that my dogs were healthy including mentally making sure they had activity. He stayed at my house and left it the same condition I left it. I would highly recommended using Alvin and plan to use him again on my next trip. He also took care of watering my plants while I was gone.

Cristian went over and above our expectations. Kept us up to date sent photos and just provided complete reassurance we didn't need to stress over our dogs and home while on vacation. Highly recommend and our best experience to date using Rover. 5 stars plus!!!

Stephanie is a super star sitter! Our dog is sweet but has separation anxiety. Stephanie made her so comfortable that Etta was all smiles in all of her check in photos and videos. This helped us fully enjoy our trip knowing our pup was in great hands. Also, the photos and videos Stephanie sent were so cute, well captioned, and well-timed. I had some detailed instructions and Stephanie followed them all excellently. Her excellent communication and understanding helped manage my own anxieties about leaving Etta at home. She was extremely clean and left our place looking great. Also very reliable, professional, and punctual. My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience and would 100% work with Stephanie again!

Corina has been absolutely wonderful with my Bailey! She goes above and beyond to ensure she’s well cared for and happy. I’ve rebooked with her multiple times and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Corina for anyone looking for exceptional care on their next booking.

Wendy is a rockstar sitter! She took excellent care of our senior dog (15 y/o), Jameson, and kept us updated throughout the day. Our family hasn’t been away from Jameson for that long, but we were at ease knowing Wendy was there with him, giving him tlc and ensuring his medications were on schedule. Wendy is friendly, warm, and professional. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!
