About: I come from a family that has loved and raised 3 bulldogs. Two out of three of those bulldogs were in our care starting from when they were 6 months old. Growing up, I would often have to babysit my pets when my parents went on trips. I am no stranger to big, strong dogs or how rough they like to play. I am also familiar with dogs who are not friendly with other dogs. I had a Shiba Inu and a bulldog who were not friendly with other dogs. When it comes to pets like that, I’m very careful and aware of my surroundings. I will always respect a pet’s boundaries. I understand that pets are considered family and should be treated as such. I previously lived with a family that had multiple cats in their care. I loved chilling and playing with them. Living in that house taught me that (unlike most dogs) most cats have their boundaries and will have to come to you. Pets of all sizes and breeds bring me a lot of joy. As much as I love dogs, I have a soft spot for cats and hope to have one of my own someday. I am currently unemployed and graduated college a year ago, so I have a flexible weekday schedule. I highly recommend Chris. She came in fur the meet and greet and sat right on the floor. Bob is the most shy of the 3, but he came out to see what was going on. During the stay Bob needed meds and she more than willing to try anything. She couldn't pick him up, cause they just met so it to be crushed and hidden in his food. When I returned I couldn't even tell she had been here. Fabulous!

This was my first time using Rover. I was very concerned as my older dog had some health issues arise right before I left. Alvin was amazing. He was constantly advising me about my dogs and any change of normal behavior. He was able to take care of the meds she needed and all was good. I was also surprised my dogs went for walks with him, as I was certain they would not go with someone else. He truly cared that my dogs were healthy including mentally making sure they had activity. He stayed at my house and left it the same condition I left it. I would highly recommended using Alvin and plan to use him again on my next trip. He also took care of watering my plants while I was gone.
