“Kenji was so good with Kahi! I booked last minute and he was super flexible in accommodating my busy schedule. He was quick to communicate and followed our directions for his ongoing loose leash walking training! (My corgi pup, Kahi, loves to pull and eat everything off the ground) Will definitely be booking again!”

“I feel so lucky to have found her! She is incredibly caring and thoughtful, always follows the house rules and instructions, and even stays a little longer to make sure Rudy is taken care of. I really appreciate how much love and attention she gives him. I’ll definitely book with her again! Highly recommend! ❤️”

“Jacqueline did a great job with Xena. She walked her and took photos and even hung out with my kitties. She is very reliable and caring. I look forward to booking her again. Thank you Jac!!! ♡”

“Chris was great. Never felt so comfortable that a sitter was taking good care of my cats. She sent me detailed updates, played with them, and cleaned before I got back. Definitely going to use her for all my future trips:)”

About: Working as a teacher and pet sitter have taught me many of the same skills: patience, communication, responsibility, and genuine care. I’ve traveled across the U.S. to pet sit for both cats and dogs, and I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I’m attentive to owners’ instructions and take their trust seriously. Whether it’s keeping up with a feeding schedule, making sure a dog gets plenty of exercise, or giving a shy cat some extra space and patience, I do my best to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m also respectful of your home and always aim to leave a place as clean—or cleaner—than I found it. Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. I currently work as a substitute teacher, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time before and after work to provide attentive care, and I’m generally able to adjust my schedule around a pet’s needs. I live a calm lifestyle and enjoy spending time at home, so pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I have a safe, comfortable home with a backyard where pets can get some fresh air and space to explore. I also live right next to a park with a designated pet area and plenty of greenery, which makes it easy to provide regular walks and outdoor time. I want pets in my care to feel comfortable and at home, while also following their owner’s routines, instructions, and preferences.

About: I come from a family that has loved and raised 3 bulldogs. Two out of three of those bulldogs were in our care starting from when they were 6 months old. Growing up, I would often have to babysit my pets when my parents went on trips. I am no stranger to big, strong dogs or how rough they like to play. I am also familiar with dogs who are not friendly with other dogs. I had a Shiba Inu and a bulldog who were not friendly with other dogs. When it comes to pets like that, I’m very careful and aware of my surroundings. I will always respect a pet’s boundaries. I understand that pets are considered family and should be treated as such. I previously lived with a family that had multiple cats in their care. I loved chilling and playing with them. Living in that house taught me that (unlike most dogs) most cats have their boundaries and will have to come to you. Pets of all sizes and breeds bring me a lot of joy. As much as I love dogs, I have a soft spot for cats and hope to have one of my own someday. I am currently unemployed and graduated college a year ago, so I have a flexible weekday schedule. Weekends are slightly restrictive since I like to allot that time for my personal life. The house I currently live in has a zero-tolerance policy for pets. However, I am capable of following instructions and caring for pets - having lived with my parents who owned dogs, cats, turtles, and hamsters as I was growing up.
“Cristina was very professional and took very good care of our kitties while we were away. She went above and beyond and helped us out with some house stuff too. She sent lots of pictures and videos and kept us updated about everything. We will definitely have her take care of our cats again.”

About: I have my own tabby cat Penelope for the last 2 years! I've had her since 10 weeks so Ive taken care if her as a kitten and full grown. but my credentials go way back :D ever since I was in elementary , I have played and was the second mother to my cousins maltese dog Cream since she was 2 weeks old. i helped teach her how to sit, stand, and spin while standing! Whenever they are away on trips, I am their go-to sitter. In terms of experience with 100+lb dogs, I love going to my friends house to play with their big golden retriever named kiwi! its currently summer break so I am actually free everyday and want to have an excuse to be out and about so book me haha! when school starts I will be free mon,wed after 2pm, friday after 12pm, and anytime for any other day of the week I can deal with an excited animal that barks or bites when asked to go on a walk haha. if your per has an elaborate 10 ingredient meal that needs to be put together every meal time you can count on me to chef it up 👩🍳 I love sports so I will always have energy to play with your pet :)

“Grace is such a sweet and amazing sitter! She has communicated with me so kindly throughout the entire stay, sends regular photo updates, and follows instructions to a T—and I gave her a lot of instructions! Gemma can be very shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but Grace has been incredibly patient and has worked completely at her pace to make sure she feels safe and comfortable. I can see how much effort Grace is putting into earning her trust, and it’s been so sweet to see Gemma start to open up to her. She’s even managed to put a smile on my shy girl’s face by entertaining her with toys! 🥹❤️ I’m so grateful for Grace and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, patient, and trustworthy sitter.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, bunnies, and chickens.🐾 I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. Wether your pet needs calm and gentle or an energetic playmate. I’m excited to meet your fur baby and give them the love and care they deserve! I’m available for walks, drop ins, and daycare on Tuesdays , Thursday-Sunday 7am-10:30pm. For boarding, I’m available Monday-Sunday. I also have a flexible schedule for additional visits as needed. Pets can play and get some fresh air infront of my home in my yard. We spend time relaxing indoors or enjoying the outdoors together.
About: I grew up with a Great Dane who I cared for from childhood until she passed, and she’s the reason I’ve loved pets my whole life. Since then, I’ve helped take care of family and friends’ dogs of all sizes. Today I have an 11-year-old chihuahua (Camila) who is healthy, loved, and very used to having little pups around and a 5-year-old Weimaraner (Lolo) who was literally ‘trained’ by Camila to be gentle and respectful with small dogs. We also have a 16-month-old baby who has learned to be calm, gentle, and loving with pets. Your pup will be in a loving, kind, safe, and experienced home. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give consistent attention and supervision to your pup throughout the day. My son is in daycare during daytime hours, so the home stays calm, quiet, and perfect for small dogs. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced front yard where dogs can safely explore under my supervision. I only care for a small number of pups at a time to keep the environment calm and safe. My two pups are gentle, respectful of small breeds, and all interactions are always supervised. I can also separate or crate dogs if needed to match their routine.
“Lauriane was amazing! She was so patient and kind with our dogs and they seemed really comfortable with her right off the bat. It’s never easy being away from our pups, but knowing they’re in such good hands made me feel so much better. We will definitely reach out again!”

“My cat, Carmela, began showing symptoms of an upper respiratory infection just before my husband and I were about to leave for vacation. She needed medication, but I didn’t have anyone in my circle whom I could trust or rely on to give meds properly, which caused me a great deal of anxiety. I had been curious about Rover for future situations and had already considered Alex, as her profile was impressive and she had fantastic reviews. I reached out to Alex, and she responded almost immediately. Her professionalism and attention to detail are exceptional, and she is genuinely a kindhearted person. Her visit summaries and the pictures of Carmela put my husband and me at ease. We are extremely grateful to her! Thank you so much, Alex. 🙏🏻 You are a gem. 🥹”

About: I’ve fostered and volunteered at many animal shelters over the years, and I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family whenever they travel. I’m very comfortable around all kinds of animals, and I know how important it is to feel like your pet is in good hands. While I don’t have any pets of my own right now, that just means I can give your pet my full attention and care. I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home with flexible hours. Being home throughout the day means I can provide attentive, hands-on care, whether that’s for walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine. I can be flexible so just let me know when you’re available and I’ll try my very best to accommodate. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of my family. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment where they can relax, play, and feel completely at ease. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that offers plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely. Pets are always supervised while outside to ensure their safety and comfort at all times. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication, and bedtime rituals, to help them feel at home. I offer plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles (if they want them!), along with quiet spots for rest and alone time when needed. Whether they’re here for a short stay or a longer vacation, I make sure every pet in my care feels loved, secure, and well cared for every step of the way. 🐶 Dog Care (Boarding & Drop-Ins) When dogs stay with me, I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard where they can run and play safely, always under supervision. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, walks, and bedtime habits to help them feel right at home. Whether your dog is energetic or more laid-back, I adjust care to match their needs. For dog drop-in visits, I can stop by your home to provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. 🐱 Cat Care (Boarding & Drop-Ins) I also have experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities, from social and playful to shy and independent. I understand that cats need a calm, patient approach, and I always let them come to me at their own pace. For drop-in visits, I make sure your cat stays comfortable in their own home while you’re away. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and quiet companionship. If boarding, my home provides a calm, low-stress environment that’s ideal for cats. Since I only accept one family at a time, your cat will never be around unfamiliar animals. I never force interaction and always respect each cat’s comfort level. I’m also comfortable caring for multi-cat households and can follow detailed routines, including basic medication if needed. IMPORTANT NOTE: - Please let me know about their temperament. The more details the better. - To give each pet the attention, comfort, and calm environment they deserve, I only board pets from one family at a time. This means your pets will never have to share their space with unfamiliar animals, reducing stress and allowing me to fully focus on their individual needs. Whether your pets are playful, shy, or needs special care, I’m able to tailor their stay and provide a safe, peaceful, and loving home by away from home just for them. - Up to date vaccinations including rabies shots are REQUIRED. ** Pickup & Drop-Off Policy Drop-offs and pickups are available during agreed-upon hours. For scheduling and safety reasons, late-night drop-offs or pickups after 12am will incur a $20 late night pick up fee. Pickups and drop-offs are not available after 2am. Thank you 🐾

“Sydney is the best! I'm such a worrying dog-mom, and she could not have been more perfect. She was highly communicative with me and was very easy to get in touch with. I also love that she is a vet tech. That put my mind at ease the whole time we were away. If she noticed small changes in my dog's behavior she would take precautions and monitored him like a pro. Even my neighbor commented on how wonderful she was and how our dog just fell in love with her. I will use Sydney every time we travel in the future!”

In my second booking with Faye, I was thoroughly impressed by her exceptional service. Her compassion and care for my cats are evident in every interaction. Faye consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of my feline companions, providing me with unwavering peace of mind while I am away from home. Her dedication and professionalism continue to astound me, and each experience surpasses the last.

She took such great care of my cat! She was attentive, caring, and always communicated promptly. She was also flexible and adjusted her approach and communication based on the situation. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such good hands. Highly recommend her!
I feel so lucky to have found her! She is incredibly caring and thoughtful, always follows the house rules and instructions, and even stays a little longer to make sure Rudy is taken care of. I really appreciate how much love and attention she gives him. I’ll definitely book with her again! Highly recommend! ❤️

Christina took care of our kitties for 8 days while we were away on vacation. I can not begin to explain how attentive, caring and kind she was. She went out of her way to make sure our cats were happy and was super communicative throughout the whole process. During her meet and greet visit, she listened carefully to our instructions and asked many questions. Which reassured me that I was leaving my cats in capable and loving hands. Without a doubt I will be contacting Christina for my future trips. Thank you for everything.

Chu Hua was absolutely amazing with my kitties!! She clearly has a ton of experience with cats, and asked great questions when she came beforehand to check everything out and get the run down! She came every day, did what was needed, and played with them! Got so many photos and videos too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!!

Courtney has been absolutely wonderful with Archer. She is incredibly dedicated, thoughtful, and attentive in the way she cares for him. It’s clear that she genuinely takes the time to understand his needs and personality, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. What really stands out is how much she goes the extra mile. Whether it’s taking a bit of extra time to make sure he’s settled, paying attention to the small details, or simply showing up with consistency and care, she never treats it like a checklist. She truly looks out for him. I trust her completely, which is not something I say lightly when it comes to Archer. Knowing he’s in her care means I don’t have to worry, and that’s invaluable. I would absolutely recommend Courtney to anyone looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in the well-being of their pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
