Pet care experience
your cat's second favorite human!
** I can only provide cat care! ** I thought I was never a cat person -- until one rainy night in 2018, my sister found 3 kittens huddled together under a car parked right in front of our house. After dropping them off at the local humane society, she ended up adopting one of them -- a cute orange domestic longhair named Mr. Orange. While my sister went to work, I helped take care of Mr., from feeding him wet food/dry food/treats, scooping his litter box, entertaining him with catnip mice and other toys, to trimming his nails despite his protests. From this experience, I discovered my love for cats, and I absolutely just adore them. My entire FYP on TikTok is filled with cats, my camera roll is just pictures of them, and I just think they are so cute and precious -- and I'm just grateful they exist, and I'm so lucky that I can care for them. Then a year ago, my sister moved out along with Mr. Orange, and the house felt a bit lonely without a feline companion. So during a spontaneous visit to the local humane society, I decided to adopt Tremmie, a deaf silver tabby domestic shorthair with cerebellar hypoplasia. Despite her wobbles, she was super energetic and so playful with so much life to live. I researched everything about her condition and did everything I could to make sure she would be safe and happy. Fast forward to the present, she is now a full grown adult cat who has adapted to her condition very well, and I couldn't be more proud!! I would say what sets me apart from other sitters is my attentiveness. I am always anticipating Tremmie's daily needs by reading her body language and deciphering her squeaks (since she doesn't know how to meow). I am always keeping track of when and how much she pees or poops, if she's finishing her meals, and making sure nothing is out of the ordinary. I scoop her litter box twice a day, ensure that her water fountain is always filled and clean, play with her at least 3 times a day, trim her nails every 2-3 weeks, and many more other cat maintenance tasks. I am constantly mentally keeping track of where Tremmie is in the house, and I always respect her boundaries when interacting with her (except in emergency situations). Most importantly, I know how cats cat, and I am ready to find the nearest emergency clinic if needed. I would love the opportunity to meet and take care of your feline best friend!

Ratings and reviews
Christina took care of our kitties for 8 days while we were away on vacation. I can not begin to explain how attentive, caring and kind she was. She went out of her way to make sure our cats were happy and was super communicative throughout the whole process. During her meet and greet visit, she listened carefully to our instructions and asked many questions. Which reassured me that I was leaving my cats in capable and loving hands. Without a doubt I will be contacting Christina for my future trips. Thank you for everything.

If I need someone to check on my cats in the future I will definitely try to get Christina again. My cats were scardy cats and hid from her but she made sure the food and water was good. Christina even brought them a toy mouse.

I was there with Christina when she adopted her silver tabby Tremmie at a humane society. I witnessed a moment where she was challenged with the decision on whether she should take in a kitten with cerebral hypoplasia. After being informed of what is required to care for a cat with a disability, she was not swayed at all. In fact, she was worried that Tremmie would continue being overlooked at the shelter for her disability at no fault of her own since she was born with the condition after all. It takes a big heart and a kind soul to adopt a pet from the shelter, let alone a pet with a disability. She has made sure to catproof her home to make sure Tremmie's needs are taken care of, and that's why I would highly recommend Christina to care for your beloved cats. If I ever need someone to watch Mr. Orange, she is the first person I would contact. You can definitely count on her to look after your beloved feline with the utmost attention and care!!
I've experienced firsthand how much love and dedication Christina has put into taking care of Tremmie. She got Tremmie as a kitten at around 4 months old. Tremmie was born with a condition called cerebllar hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects coordination and balance. Upon obtaining Tremmie, she also learned that she was deaf and mute as the shelter had entirely overlooked this. Learning about this, she took the time to research her conditions, how to make the home more habitable for a kitten with these conditions and be able to communicate/train her without the use of sound. All of these aspects have drilled a key trait into her that all pet caregivers should have, a keen eye to attention. Christina is hyperaware of everything related to Tremmie. She has gotten used to keeping a very close eye on Tremmie while juggling her own tasks and is ready to give immediate attention whenever something felt off. Because of this, Tremmie is always well fed, healthy and hygienic. Christina doesn't just do well in the logistical department either. She makes sure Tremmie is well loved and keeps her mind/body engaged. She communicates to Tremmie through visual cues, consistent routines and through touch. Tremmie has formed a deep bond with Christina because of the effort she puts into making sure Tremmie lives the best life possible. Whenever Christina is up late into the night trying to get work done, Tremmie would wait as long as she could before falling asleep so they could fall asleep together. Tremmie was so wary of everything and everyone when she first got her, but now they are inseparable. Christina is the person you want to look after your pets, responsible and compassionate. The dedication she has to Tremmie isn't limited to the idea that it's only because it's her pet either. She has shown these traits to all pets. Whether it be her sister's cat Mr. Orange or our friend Justin's dog Skye, she just loves forming connections with our best friends. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely understands what it takes to care for animals.
