About: As the sole caretaker of my own dog for almost 2 years, I have experience with walking a large dog (<75 lbs) along with feeding, cleaning, and playing. I have also walked other types of dogs from small to large from friends and family. I absolutely love walking, moreso than my own dog as she’s a bit lazy haha! I walk over 6-7 miles every day, so I would love to add your fur baby to my daily walking routine! I also do drop-in visits as well. I am more than happy to feed, play, do short walks, and give pets as much as your dog desires! I absolutely love meeting new dogs and, hopefully, being a happy part of their day! Additionally, I currently volunteer at Pasadena Humane, where I practice positive reinforcement techniques through clicker training with shelter dogs. I help encourage desirable behaviors such as calm kennel behavior and appropriate interactions by rewarding dogs with treats and praise. I previously volunteered caring for rabbits and also had a pet rabbit growing up, so I have experience caring for small animals as well! I’m currently a full-time student at UCLA, but I am available every day now that it’s summer break. I am available from 11 AM-9 PM, so I am very flexible and will work with your availability! When I walk my dog, I love going to my local parks and around my neighborhood. For your dog, we can walk around your neighborhood or go to a park, whichever is more comfortable with you. For both dog walks and drop-in visits, I will give my full attention to your dog and make sure they get lots of pets.

As someone who works in the animal emergency hospital and a dog trainer, it's often so hard to trust your own dog with just anyone. Arisa is very detailed oriented and punctual when she took care of my dog. Arisa understood and respected my dog's spacial awareness and triggers when she took her on a walk. For safety concern, Arisa also is careful when letting your dog greet other stranger dogs, and took my wishes into consideration when I didn't want my small dog to greet other dogs on leash. As a small poodle, my dog is also very sensitive and a picky eater. She often gets upset stomach and Arisa took all of that I consideration. Arisa is soft spoken and very gentle with little dogs and follows the feeding instructions carefully. Overall eventhough Daisy (my dog) is picky with people, she absolutely adores and loves Arisa. About: Lived in a multi-dog household for over 15 years providing care to pups of all ages (newborn puppies to seniors). Experienced in puppy care, senior care, medication administration, and rescue pups needing a little extra attention as they're getting adjusted to their new furrever homes. Although I don't personally provide training, I've had experience in going through training for our own pups and can support in maintaining the training that you have already in place. Guests are provided with care full-time. I'm available throughout the week and are generally flexible with pick up and drop off times. Though there may be some slight adjustments to the our daily routine, a general idea of our schedule for boarding consists of.. 6:30am potty break and playtime 7am breakfast and continued playtime 8:30am lounge/nap time Potty breaks every 3-4 hours 12:00pm -2:00pm Afternoon playtime some time during this time frame if the weather permits 5:30pm-7:00pm dinner around this time frame Evening play until 7:30pm-8pm 11:00pm for a final potty break We live in a fenced home that is double gated with a large spacious backyard. Guests are only allowed outside when there is human supervision. Guests are welcome to wrestle and play chase; however, if we do see there is an escalation in energy levels then we do a quick reset and separate guests for several minutes before returning to a lower energy of play behavior.

My mom had a knack for picking up strays and taking in fosters, so I have been providing dog care my whole life. I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.
