1. Nora L.
“I thought Nora was great!!!! Nora did everything I asked for with a smile, also understood the complex issues with Dusty(not to friendly with her, only at meal time) and Hercules strange habits. I would definitely ask Nora to baby sit them again. Our conversation to become familiar with one another , owner to care giver went very well. I never felt uncomfortable or worried. (big deal) in my eyes. Very satified.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong dedication to dogs. My childhood dog lived until the age of 18, giving me experience in caring for dogs at every stage of life. I successfully trained my own rescue puppy using the GoodPup app, so I understand the patience and care dogs need to thrive. I’ve been trusted to dog sit and walk many of my friends' dogs, from puppies to seniors, big to small. Whether your dog is energetic or elderly, I’m passionate about providing attentive, reliable care that ensures your pet feels loved and well-cared for. I’m currently taking a break before continuing my higher education, which allows me to offer flexible availability for dog sitting and walking. I’m available every weekday afternoon after 4 PM, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Additionally, I am completely free on weekends, so whether you need regular care or occasional help, I can accommodate your needs. Your pet will receive the attention they deserve whenever you need it! Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for your dog. My own dog is both crate-trained and leash-trained, which has given me hands-on experience in providing a secure and stress-free environment. I use only positive reinforcement for training, ensuring that your pet feels encouraged and safe during our time together. I always bring treats on walks for training reinforcement when necessary. Additionally, I have experience working with reactive dogs and understand the necessary precautions to take while walking them, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Your dog will be in capable hands, receiving the care and attention they need in a secure environment.

“Shelly is my neighbor and when I travel for work which is quite often, I trust her completely to take care of my dog Dexter and my cat Shiba. She sends me pictures of Dexter and Shiba every day she's caring for them to ensure that they're safe and doing well. It's those added touches that give me peace of mind when I leave my precious babies with Shelly. I highly recommend her and couldn't think of anyone better to care for your fur babies.”

About: I’m a health coach, UCLA psychology grad, and a dog whisperer who’s worked with the pet therapy program at the top hospital in California. I grew up with all kinds of furry friends, I fostered 3 pugs, 2 cats, 2 turtles and 2 hamsters. There’s nothing else I enjoy more than playing with and taking care of animals. Looking forward to meeting you! 🐶 I’m finishing my Master’s degree and working part-time— my schedule is pretty flexible. I love a good active walk in the park, and equally a sometimes night in. Open to both weekdays, weekend, morning, and night shifts. I am very clean, organized, and considerate when I care for pets in your/ my home. Cats and dogs tend to respond well to my calm energy.

About: Me and my dog Oxford are a team, he is a rescued Yorkie mix from the San Gabriel Humane Society. I have been surrounded by pets all my life, from rabbits, turtles, hamsters, cats and dogs (German Shepherd as a kid, a Pomeranian, and now a Yorkie) I have used Rover as a client for over 5 years and I know exactly what it feels like to leave your dog in a new environment for long periods of time. I don't host more than 2 small dogs a night for boarding and 3 for day care. Your dog will be safer and more relaxed and you will be notified if an additional friend is joining the party. I believe that too many dogs can decrease dog safety. Day Care flat rate: Flexible drop off and pick up times. 6am drop off? no problem. Delayed pick up time due to unforeseen circumstances? Just let me know. Also, If you are new to Rover, for $20 off your first booking use the Promo Code: GRACIC50273. And if you use Rakuten, you can get $15 cash back on your first booking making your first day care virtually free. When I’m hosting, your dog will be accompanied the entire stay and NEVER left alone. I will feed, give treats, provide chin rubs and do everything according to your schedule! Oxford has no issues eating with other dogs next to him but I can provide separate and alone feeding if your dog prefers so. *Unfortunately I cannot host young dogs or puppies with excessively high energy due to Oxfords safety as they can jump and land on him. *Must have a meet and greet prior to boarding so we can make sure your dog and our home is the right place for your dog. You will have a live look at their first interaction which truly helps the owners feel at ease. When you leave your dog with me, they will enjoy unlimited trips to a safe backyard that is fenced with added mesh fencing on top for smaller breeds with escape artist abilities (My dog Oxford is 5 lbs) They will not be let out unsupervised and can stay and lounge out there for as long as they want. Oxford loves intermittent sunbathing and I am sure your dog will too. I also make sure they have tons of fresh filtered water (bowl cleaned and changed daily) because the California heat can be very dehydrating especially if they are playing all day. Dogs are free to roam around the house and backyard all day. They can also look out the window overlooking the street and watch cars and pedestrians passing if that's their hobby. The window is just a couch hop away. No walks will be provided so your dog will be 100% safe in the house. I invite you to bring your dogs bed, covers, toys, anything that can help them feel at home. They can jump on the couches and relax with Oxford. At night, if your dog is anxious, I can prepare their bed next to mine in our bedroom or wherever is most similar to their own home. So far 90% of the dogs have slept on my bed with oxford and I’ve noticed this helps them with their anxiety.

“I couldn't be happier with the dog-sitting services! My dog, Max, usually takes time to warm up to new people, but he bonded immediately. The care and attention given to Max were exceptional, with daily walks, playtime, and lots of love. I received regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear my dog was in good hands, and I felt completely confident in the care provided. I highly recommend this service to any pet owner looking for reliable and compassionate care”

16. Mary & Valerie Z.
“Mary would make a wonderful pet caregiver. She is sweet, kind and super tentative to her own pets in her home. She would be that same with the pets she is caring for. I have I trusted her with my own cats and dog on occasion and she was just perfect. She kept me updated with photos and videos. She made sure they had food, water and was able to have time outside when needed. I know she would be wonderful working with rover.”
17. Rae L.
“We felt completely secure leaving our cherished feline friend Miss Goldstein in Rae’s hands after our initial meeting. Rae obviously cares about pets, as well as the feelings of people who love pets. She promptly informed us about the results of every visit, and included a photo with each. The photos revealed our cat displaying trust— flopping over, giving Rae’s hand head-bumps, enjoying chin-scritches, etc. Rae also generously turned Miss Goldstein on to a new treat: dried minnows! A perfect score.”
18. Paxton D.
“Paxton has been a go-to dog sitter for my family, as well as family friend’s of mine for over 5 years. She is very caring, and trustworthy with all animals. “From the initial meeting with Erica, she gave off this amazing energy and an initial sense of peace about having her take care of my pup. The entire process was streamlined and she is very communicative during the entire time.
