Hi! I’m Olivia, and I use she/her pronouns. After adopting 2 dogs & 3 cats of my own over the past 15 years, I can honestly call myself EQUAL parts dog-person & cat-person! ☺️ And, as a proud Childless Cat Lady, I have always treated my pets like I would my own children. I strive to give yours that exact same level of care & attention! Moses, my dog of 14 years, had multiple physical ailments throughout his final years, including Degenerative Disc Disease (genetic) and blindness/retinal degeneration (age-related), so I became adept at administering daily oral & ocular medication to dogs. I am absolutely comfortable with giving your dog or cat any medications that they require! Please never hesitate to ask. My dog, Flower, was attacked by coyotes in 2014, in my own backyard. This incredible loss left me with extremely heightened awareness of my surroundings, & I take advanced measures to safeguard against potential threats whenever I am outdoors, with any animal. I know many pet parents who worry about coyotes, and I am very sensitive to those concerns 🙏🏻. I take a gentle approach with ALL animals, and especially so with senior pets & those with physical and/or emotional challenges! Moses & my cat, Petunia (9), had/have anxiety, as well as trauma from before they were adopted. I am comfortable navigating some of these trickier sensitivities in animals, & I know first-hand how far love, understanding, & patience can go for non-human & human animals, alike! I currently live in Pasadena with two rescue cats—& one rescue husband 😃.

Having been a professional real estate agent for 6 years, I am also used to caring for other people’s homes! This includes respecting the environments of others; building and maintaining full trust and transparency; and ensuring the continued safety of everyone present! ***An important note for pet parents: if you would like to book me for any of my walking or drop-in services, please rest assured that I have no problem with security cameras or other surveillance devices that are active within the common areas of your home! However, if you would like to book me for overnight pet-sitting in your home, I do require that any electronic devices that could be used to visually and/or auditorily drop-in on, or record, me while I am actively inside your home please be disabled. This respects my need for privacy in an environment in which I am taking & making private phone calls; attending telehealth appointments; sleeping; showering; etc—all of which would not occur when simply walking or dropping-in on your pet. If this requirement does not work for you, then I will of course respect your decision! But I will also politely encourage you to select an alternative sitter. “Privacy is about consent, not secrecy.” Thank you so much for understanding!***
