“Immediately upon meeting Nyssa at our pre-catsitting visit, I knew I'd feel comfortable leaving my treasured kitty with her. She's quite clearly a huge cat lover... she just has that special cat intuition that only some people have! She was incredibly kind and caring, super communicative with lots of pictures, and was flexible when I asked if she could stay longer on one visit. Will look forward to booking her again very soon and recommend her without reservation.”

“Hannah did an excellent job with our two cats! They liked her right away, and she took great care of them. We really appreciated the consistent updates and pictures with each visit.”

“Autumn is such an awesome person and couldn't be happier with them! We know our cat is in great hands when we are out of town. Definitely rebooking!”

“Lori was wonderful! She is super communicative and flexible. I felt immediately my cat was in good hands. He has stomach cancer and takes a regiment of medications and Lori picked it up so fast. I would definitely recommend and rebook Lori the next time. Thank you!!”

“Natalie was great! Responsive and took great care of our cats when we were gone. Our home was clean and our cats were in great spirits. Highly recommend Natalie! We’ll be booking with Natalie again in the future.”

“It was our first time booking a pet sitter for our cat and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Emily was so amazing with Oliver. She sent us great updates and pictures and took care of him like it was her own. Emily is extremely reliable. Will definitely book her again in the future!”
About: I have cared for pets most of my life. I have dealt with multiple manner types, aggression levels, medical conditions such as seizures, and administering medications. I am sensitive to pet energies and can adjust when the vibe becomes too thick with tension. I am very grateful to be around such healing energies. I regard all pets as extended family members, it’s an honor to provide care and services. I am currently walking dogs locally daily. I also work as an art instructor in the area as well, in the event of an emergency or need to double check up/visit accommodation shouldn’t be an issue. I have cameras monitoring the space. The property is fully gated. My backyard is gated as well. There are many trees, shade and grassy spaces for roaming and walking. I am very familiar with in depth instructions on how to secure/navigate through the clients home and property. Security is key. Lockboxes, codes etc.
About: Hi! I’m currently transitioning from a career in the entertainment industry to focus more on pet care, a dedication I’ve had my whole life. I’ve spent over 30 years living with and caring for dogs and cats. My detail oriented, organized, and poised personality type has always helped me succeed in the entertainment industry, and these skills cross over to caring for animals, allowing me to anticipate their needs and create a calm, ease filled environment. Dogs have always been an essential part of my life, and I currently share my home with a sweet senior pug who receives weekly physical therapy. Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs and cats, always prioritizing their comfort, health, and happiness. I know firsthand the peace of mind a loving sitter provides, having used Rover for my own pup for two years. I’m reliable, safety conscious, and fully attentive, so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and dog daycare, giving each dog plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. My home is senior dog friendly, with yoga mats, ramps, soft steps, a fenced yard, and a calm environment. I’m currently welcoming 3-4 recurring dog daycare clients. I can provide boarding for recurring clients as well. If you’re looking for a caring, attentive sitter who treats dogs like family, I’d love to connect and become part of your dog’s extended pack! I am looking to make pet care my main focus. All available booking dates are indicated on my Rover calendar. I am excited to meet your fur babies! My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. I’d be happy to provide a peaceful, cozy, and caring environment for your pup!

“Sara took excellent care of our pair of foster cats and their space! They love her. We appreciate her communication, and the wonderful photos of them while we were away. Thank you Sara!!”

“Sam is the best!!! I am an anxious cat mom but felt super comfortable having Sam stay at our place for the weekend & take care of out cat Soba. Sam sent photos daily and left the house in the same condition as I left it. Thank you so much Sam! 😸”

About: I love animals and this is fun for me. I own a business that allows me to work from home and can be available to take care of your pets on short notice. I grew up taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles and even rodents. Like I said, I work from home. So I have total flexibility and control over my schedule, and can make anyone's unique schedules work with mine. Safety is my highest concern. No door will be left open, no hazards will be left around, I will follow your instructions to a T and make sure your pet is safe and happy :)
“Emily was very good with our two cats. She was prompt and professional, clear in communication, shared lots of photos, and took time to clean up the areas around the litter boxes. Would recommend.”

About: Hi! I’m Sam, and I’ve been working with animals since 2012. Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats, I always knew I wanted a career caring for them. Over the years, I’ve worked at a veterinary office, managed a doggy daycare, pet sat, walked dogs, and even worked in a pet boutique where I learned a lot about pet nutrition. I’ve cared for animals of all ages and sizes from playful puppies to seniors who need extra patience and attention. I’m also experienced giving medications and tending to special needs. I understand how much your fur babies mean to you, and I know how important it is to find someone who treats them with the same care, patience, and affection that you would. I’ve been called “Auntie Sam” by many of my clients because I build close relationships with every fur baby I care for. I love spending time playing, walking, snuggling ( I love a good snuggle sesh) , and just being there to make your best furiend feel safe, happy, and loved. I also understand the trust it takes to let someone into your fur babies life. My goal is to make sure you feel confident and at ease, knowing your furry family is in compassionate, experienced hands. Every animal deserves care that comes from the heart and that’s exactly what I give. I’m just returning to Los Angeles after living abroad for the past five years, and I’m excited to be back in a place where I can fully dedicate my time to caring for pets. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I’m available for visits and walks from early morning to 6 PM, making it easy to accommodate your pets needs. Whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check in, or afternoon cuddles, I can adjust to fit your routine. I always follow your pet's individual schedule to make sure their routine stays consistent while you’re away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure and stress free, so I do my best to create a calm, happy environment that mirrors their usual home life. During visits and walks, I give each pet attention and care tailored to their personality whether that’s playful interaction, gentle cuddles, or quiet companionship. I also keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health, and I make sure to communicate with you regularly so you can feel at ease while you’re gone.
“Kenya was wonderful. She accepted a last min request and showed up to hang with my pup Sadie despite the rain. She was friendly and Sadie took to her immediately. I’ll definitely be booking Kenya again. Highly recommend!”

“Aries did an amazing job looking after and taking care of my two cats. Always checked in and made sure both cats were in good spirit and mood - feeding and all the usual Cat care while we were away. Both were very happy and calm when we returned too! Definitely would book again!”

About: I offer calm, attentive care and a genuine love for animals. I’ve had pets my whole life, and I’m great with shy or independent personalities. I use patience and positive reinforcement (I even taught my cat to high-five!) and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m also very communicative and will send as many updates/pictures as you’d like! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I am fortunate to work from home with flexible hours, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I am able to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-in visits so pets are never rushed or left alone longer than they should be. Because of this flexibility, I can spend as much time with your pet as needed and ensure they receive consistent care, companionship, and attention while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and have plenty of time to relax and play. We go on daily walks to the park, and there’s no shortage of cuddle time and one-on-one attention. I’m always mindful of each pet’s individual needs, whether that means following a specific diet, giving medication, or just providing a little extra love and reassurance.
About: I own two dogs and rescued two bunnies (domesticated) while hiking. I love animals and if I could I’d own a farm. I’ve done doggy sitting for friends, family members and coworkers. I’m currently working full time so ideally would doggy sit on weekends. I take my dogs for walks at least four times a week and when they were younger I’d take them on long intense hikes. My dogs sleep with me. They are my daughters! I would do anything for them. When I’ve doggy sat in the past I would allow the other dogs to sleep with me as well. All the dogs I’ve taken care of are super playful and follow me everywhere. We enjoy each others company.
“Sydney is amazing! She’s super communicative, sends plenty of updates, and my cats absolutely love her. I always feel totally at ease knowing they’re in her care. Highly recommend!”

Highland Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kelly took care of my cats, Stevie and Luci, for an entire month, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving pets for that long requires a level of trust that most sitters never reach, and Kelly exceeded it from day one. She treated Stevie and Luci like they were her own. Daily care was consistent, thoughtful, and attentive, not just feeding and litter, but real engagement, affection, and awareness of their personalities and routines. I never once felt anxious or uncertain while I was away, which says everything. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. Updates were timely and reassuring, and it was clear she genuinely cared about their wellbeing, not just completing a task. When I returned, my cats were relaxed, happy, and clearly comfortable, which is the ultimate test. Kelly is reliable, kind, and exceptionally good with animals. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your pets, especially for an extended period, she is the gold standard. I would book her again without hesitation and recommend her to anyone who wants total peace of mind.

Laurel was absolutely incredible! This was our first time having her watch Charlie & I had a lot of notes & she accommodated all my very specific asks so he could be comfortable. He’s a quirky cat! Charlie now loves her & she left such thorough descriptions after each visit which was greatly appreciated. So grateful he was in good hands with her & that she was so detail oriented, and accommodating. Highly recommend Laurel!

Emily did a great job with our two cats and home! She kept us updated with photos and was communicative throughout our trip. When we came back the cats were happy and everything has been taken care of care of per our instructions. Would definitely hire Emily again!

Olivia is the best! she genuinely cares about animals and was so patient with all my cat’s needs. she is really communicative and wonderful to work with. I came back to a clean and tidy house, which I very much appreciate! my cat also loved her and they got along so well. I 100% recommend her services and look forward to booking with her again! <3

Having June take care of Becky, our old lady cat, puts our hearts and minds at ease. She is a pleasure to work with and always sends great pictures. It's clear through the photos that Becky really likes June, too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend June in a heartbeat!
