About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I've been the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. I read body language well, I'll follow your routine exactly as you describe it, and I'd rather ask you a question than guess. If your dog needs anything particular on a walk, tell me and I'll do it that way every time. I run a tutoring business and my sessions don't start until the afternoon, so my weekday mornings and midday are completely open. That makes me a good fit for the late-morning to early-afternoon window when most dogs have been alone for hours and need to get out. I'm consistent week to week, so if you want the same time every Monday through Friday I can hold that slot for you. I'm offering walks and drop-ins only. Since I'm walking your dog in your own neighborhood, my attention is on your home and your street. I double-check gates and doors going in and out, keep the leash clipped until we're fully back inside, and I don't use retractable leashes. I keep dogs out of unfenced front yards and away from other dogs unless you've told me yours is friendly and you want the greeting. I'll follow whatever routine you already have, including which door you use, where the leash lives, and whether your dog gets water or a treat afterward. At home I have a fully fenced yard and cats, so I'm used to being deliberate about containment. If anything goes wrong on a walk you'll hear from me right away, not at the end of the day.

About: As a dog owner through my adolescence and a two-cat owner as an adult, I’ve learned to treat pets with the love and care that they unconditionally provide us! I’m on the taller side so I can work with dogs of basically all sizes haha! I currently work full time as a lab researcher, so my weekdays are mostly busy before 5 PM, but I’m more than happy to meet your furry friends after work! On the weekends I am essentially completely available and willing to care for your pets! This was the second time Priscilla took care of my cat, and in addition to doing a good job with feeding, playing, and litter, she really seemed to develop a bond with him. He can be bitey and I appreciated that she took this in stride. Her photos and timely updates were a joy to receive while I was away.
Alexis did an amazing job looking after Mouchey -- I could tell how well he was looked after by how perky and engaged he was in every picture sent to me, as well as his bounding energy after I returned. She was also super adaptable and communicative: unexpectedly, an ant invasion occurred while I was gone, and Alexis did an outstanding job of letting me know about the situation, moving Mouchey and his items to a separate room, and containing the problem. Even when Mouchey's food was compromised, she immediately went the extra mile and offered to run to the store for a new bag so that we could toss the old one out. Her quick responsiveness and meticulous documentation allowed me to call in additional resources to clean up the issue, and she was so helpful and accommodating during the whole ordeal. Much, much gratitude for all of your help! I absolutely endorse Alexis's professionalism and competence -- I cannot understate how impressive her conduct was during this booking.
