“Mike was so great to care for my animals. He bonded with the temperamental male Oslo, absolutely left my place and feeding areas spotless. He sent great candid shots of each one of my 3 cats, they looked very relaxed and happy. No issues at all. He was so nice to meet in person and I would book him again any time! Really prompt and communicative.”

“Jessica did a great job! I have a very standoffish cat who warmed up to her instantly. She is very thorough and attentive to detail. I also loved the reports she gave at the end of each visit. I was able to relax on my trip, knowing that my pets were in her care.”

About: For nearly two decades, my neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets when they are away. I have extensive experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages and needs. Not only can I take your high-energy dog for a long walk or run, I will also slow things down to give your elderly pet the time and attention they need. I’m known for never refusing a belly rub and always loving your pets like my own. I am also happy to check up on aquarium dwellers (like my client who has goldfish!) I am a professional dancer and summer is the slow season, so I have flexible hours that can fit anyone’s busy day. I am available for daytime check-ins, walks, and daycare any day of the week. My schedule easily allows for pet pickups/drop offs and house sitting. I am home most of the day to keep your dog company. If I am out of the house it usually will only be for a couple hours and I have a very friendly dog who will comfort your dog in my absence. Because I am home most of the time, I can do exercise and potty breaks as frequently as you would like.
About: ***UPDATE! Opening my profile up to new clients again after about a year, as I have some openings! Feel free to reach out with inquiries!*** I have had dogs my entire life, and what can I say — I just love them. I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and even spent a few years training dogs at the American Kennel Club (AKC). I rescued my own pup nearly 10 years ago, and rescued my cat ~5 years ago now-- and have since been equally obsessed with felines. They’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect. Over the years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, before opening my network to my neighborhood. ***Key Notes: - Currently, I am open for dog walking and dog/cat drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions! - For 60-minute walks, depending on location, weather and your comfort level, I can take your pup(s) for a hike or trail-run nearby! - I have a range of experience, from energetic and exercise-craving dogs to elderly pups who require gentle care and a patient, slower speed. I love providing care for either side of the spectrum, and all in between. The bottom line is: the safety of your dog/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my dog and cat, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to know what makes your beloved pet unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. I’m a good communicator — from medications to leash/sidewalk politics to triggers and everything in between, you can rest assured we will be on the same page. I have experience caring for all shapes and sizes: - Chihuahuas and Terriers (my dog Jack is a mix!) - Bernese Mountain Dogs - Border Collie Mixes - Shepherds - Staffy’s - Golden Retrievers - Shelties - Samoyeds - King Charles - Schnauzers - Norwegian Forest Cats - Tabbies I am happy to take on puppies/kittens and can integrate any training you might be working on with your fur-kiddo. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most walks and drop-ins depending on your needs. Just shoot me a request and I’ll get back to you right away. I treat everyone’s home with the same respect I expect at my own. I also take privacy very seriously. I am always happy to do meet-and-greets at a public park (or similar) before services. Again, I get it — you're trusting someone new in your home and with your animals. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible!
About: I've had many dogs growing up from a Chihuahua, Sharpei, Husky and now three of my own rescue mutts. Recently, I volunteered with a rescue in Agoura Hills bringing in dogs from Korea for a year, transporting them from LAX to an adoption center. Also, I have volunteered at the Pasadena Humane Society and North Central Shelter here in LA. Paying close attention to detail, I administered daily medication, fed a special diet (often cooking homemade meals) and had monthly vet visits for a senior dog all while taking care of my young toddler. Since I've been a full time mom, I have most weekdays free between school hours and some evenings. When I don't have to take my daughter to her weekly activities, I am also available weekends. I'm pretty flexible and could be available on short notice. I have 3 dogs who are all potty trained and do not need to be crated. I understand everybody has different needs and environments, which I am open to assisting. I strongly believe in mental and physical stimulation for pets and therefore can play with them, give toys, snuffle mats, fetch balls, go over basic commands and even give baths. Walks are ideal in their own neighborhood, or just letting them out in their yard if that's what they're use to. I am able to give treats, or food when needed and give medication. Most importantly, I want my pets to feel safe, given undivided attention, and loved.
“Limari took great care of my cats while I was away. I appreciate that she was a good communicator and sent me pics with every visit. It gave me a lot of peace of mind, and I would definitely rebook again. 🙂”

“tiffany took great care of my kitties, as always. this time i was away longer than usual but tiffany kept everyone fed, clean, and happy. she administered medication and a B12 shot according to schedule to help the senior cat maintain his health. tiffany also managed all the gadgets i have for the cats (litter robot, automated feeders & water fountain). so glad i can relax while on vacation, knowing the kitties are well taken care of!”
“Sahirah is absolutely amazing. I love how flexible she is with me and she has made my life a million times easier. Thank you so much for dropping in for my dearest Coco, Sahirah!!”

“Lori was absolutely amazing to work with! As our first time working with her I was so impressed by her genuine care, attention to detail, kindness and the thorough reports she provided. Not only did she come for a meet n greet with Charlie, but also I had to extend our stay through the 4th of July which had me feeling incredibly guilty to leave a pet during that stressful time, but she was incredible with extending our booking & making the time, administering medication & ensuring he was ok. It allowed me to relax into my vacation knowing she was there checking in on him & sharing happy updates. Lori is such a thoughtful pet sitter & will continue to hire her & highly recommend!!”

About: Hi! I recently graduated from UCSB and have a very flexible schedule this summer before starting my full-time job. I’ve dog sat for family friends, and neighbors over the years and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I’ve cared for a Maltese for several weeks, looked after a German Shepherd, and watched other small and medium-sized dogs. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, going on walks, playing with dogs, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I always try to provide the same level of care and attention they receive at home. I’m also happy to send photo updates so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands. I have a very flexible schedule and can provide care throughout the day, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. I’m available on weekdays and weekends and can easily adjust to your dog’s normal routine. Since I’m home most of the day, I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and never left alone for long periods of time. I live in a spacious townhouse with plenty of room for dogs to relax and move around comfortably. I also have a private porch where dogs can safely spend time outside and enjoy some fresh air. There is a coach outside for them to lay on. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, so I always follow owner instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, exercise, and any special care. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away.
About: We're a family of four dog lovers who often take care of our neighbor's dog (and cats). We have one indoor cat who thinks he is a dog and plays with dogs and another indoor cat who likes to hide. We used to have a dog before, so we know how to train dog and teach dog tricks. We also have flexible work schedule and will not leave the dog alone for long time and will follow special instructions to meet your needs. We're doing this for fun and extra financial income to support kids' education. We live in a townhouse with a small enclosed patio area, therefore we only take dogs who are used to living indoors and are potty trained, we're very close to the Garfield Park, so we frequent the park unless we're told not to do long walks. Why I love dog sitting always a dog lover. We used to have a pit bull-lab mix and we are good at training dogs. About my yard very small patio in the front, with gate. My experience administering medication with instructions, sure. I work at home part time, so I have the flexibility to keep dogs company. I live close to the park and generally takes long walks daily. It depends on different dogs' needs. I often follow owner's instruction and try to keep the staying as close to as the dog's original home condition.

“Kelly was absolutely amazing with my cat, Tobin. I felt at ease knowing she was taking care of her while I was away. Her pictures and notes about each drop in were great. I would highly recommend Kelly!”
“Avery took amazing care of my dog & 2 cats while I went away. She sent personalized updates multiple times a day and cute photos as well! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Pasadena
Emily was the best! I appreciate the care she showed my cats, especially the shy one, who eventually accepted pets. Very rare! She sent a lot of photos and more importantly gave them lots of love and playtime. It was nice not to come home to bored kitties. I know I’ve found a special cat sitter in Emily and can rest easy with her watching the cats.

In my second booking with Faye, I was thoroughly impressed by her exceptional service. Her compassion and care for my cats are evident in every interaction. Faye consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of my feline companions, providing me with unwavering peace of mind while I am away from home. Her dedication and professionalism continue to astound me, and each experience surpasses the last.

Lifan was vey responsive and easy to book with. She was extremely reliable and communicative while caring for my cat, Eggs, over Labor Day weekend. Eggs is normally pretty shy but warmed up to her almost immediately. When I got home from being away, he was happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend Lifan!

Jacquelyn has been doing regular drop-in visits with my large dog and has been great! She’s super communicative, always sends the cutest pictures, and does a great job handling my big, high energy dog. I really appreciate how reliable she is and would definitely recommend her!
This was the second time Priscilla took care of my cat, and in addition to doing a good job with feeding, playing, and litter, she really seemed to develop a bond with him. He can be bitey and I appreciated that she took this in stride. Her photos and timely updates were a joy to receive while I was away.

Alexis did an amazing job looking after Mouchey -- I could tell how well he was looked after by how perky and engaged he was in every picture sent to me, as well as his bounding energy after I returned. She was also super adaptable and communicative: unexpectedly, an ant invasion occurred while I was gone, and Alexis did an outstanding job of letting me know about the situation, moving Mouchey and his items to a separate room, and containing the problem. Even when Mouchey's food was compromised, she immediately went the extra mile and offered to run to the store for a new bag so that we could toss the old one out. Her quick responsiveness and meticulous documentation allowed me to call in additional resources to clean up the issue, and she was so helpful and accommodating during the whole ordeal. Much, much gratitude for all of your help! I absolutely endorse Alexis's professionalism and competence -- I cannot understate how impressive her conduct was during this booking.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
