“Anna was very sweet with my pup, Forrest and I enjoyed receiving photo updates. When Forrest was anxious one day during a 30 min. drop-in visit, Anna even offered to stay longer, which was appreciated!”

About: =ABOUT ME= Hi there! I'm Kyle and I love both cats and dogs! Growing up, I helped raise a pitbull puppy and grew up with cats in the house. My wife grew up with a bull terrier as well as two adorable shih tzus. Since then, we have both dog-sat and cat-sat for friends and neighbors. I've cared for many different types of dogs, big and small. Together with my wife, we also had 2 cats of our own, one of which we found as a stray one winter's night, and another we adopted as a playful kitten. = PET CARE= Now that I no longer have pets, instinctually, I'd love to care for your pet and give them all the love in the world! It's a soft-spoken, gentle, and peaceful household and I look forward to loving your pets, understanding them, and helping them thrive! While I do all the dog-walking and drop-in visits, my wife occasionally takes walks around the neighborhood with me, she works full-time from home and so is naturally a part of all the caring and snuggling of your fur babies whenever they board with us. I am a full-time sitter, so I am always able to look out for your pets needs whatever they may be. Please note that I have family time on Sundays between the hours of 3.30pm - 8pm and will be slow to respond and unavailable for drop-offs/pick-ups during that time. However, exceptions can be made if agreed upon in the booking. I live in a peaceful, cosy, and tidy 2-bedroom apartment. Even though we no longer have our own pets, I have a cat tower that doubles as a scratching post, as well as bigger windows that pets love looking out of. There are lots of cozy nooks for your pet to feel comfy in our home. We love cleanliness and only board one pet at a time (or two only if both pets are bonded) so we can clean / wipe / vacuum the apartment before the next pet arrives. Our neighborhood is also very conducive for dog-walking. Feel free to bring your pet's favorite bed or toys or scratcher (if applicable), we want them to feel comfy, and happy! Do note that if we notice that certain parts of your pet's toys might pose a danger to your pet due to wear and tear, we will inform you and remove the toy for the safety of your pet. Even though we maintain a clean, organized environment, please also understand that sometimes, small toys may get lost and found again days later. All boarding pets need to be on a monthly or daily flea/tick preventative and should annually be checked for parasites through a fecal exam/smear.
“It was such a pleasant experience to have Cameron as a sitter for my cat! She provided detailed during and updates after the visit and accommodated to his needs. Bonus points for eventually getting him to warm up! He is a shy kitty and takes his precious time with new people. Will definitely rebook!”

“Avery took amazing care of my dog & 2 cats while I went away. She sent personalized updates multiple times a day and cute photos as well! There was a big storm while I was away and she even went out of her way to tidy up my outdoor furniture and made sure everything was secured. Will absolutely book again and highly recommend!”
“Limari is a kind, compassionate animal caregiver with a knack for connecting with all personalities. She is reliable and stays in touch-she has two new friends in my shy feline children. We look forward to seeing her again.”

“Talia was amazing taking care of our house and two cats. Her communication was prompt and reliable from the beginning. She followed our instructions and kept us updated with pictures each time she dropped in to check on our kitties. She was responsible and caring, We will definitely contact her the next time we are out of town. We highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve cared for the dogs and cats of many friends and family, including my own 16 year old deaf & blind yorkie. I love all animals, and am experienced in caring for disabled pets, anxious pets, and those with lots and lots of energy. I’m currently a student in medical school, so I spend lots of time studying - perfect for home visits where I can run through my flashcards in the company of a furry friend! I also love walking around the neighborhood and going on hikes with the pets I care for! I am experienced in working with prescription diets, special needs animals, and pets of all ages. Please let me know what special considerations your pet requires!

“Paul was very kind and understanding of our dog’s particular behavioral challenges during initial meet-up. He was patient, friendly, playful, and communicative. Our dog is not easy to read, but Paul was able to navigate and work with him when we were away. Our dog’s needs were met, and we felt comfortable that our animal was in good hands. Strongly recommend, and we will seek Paul’s companionship again in the future.”

“We have had Kelly take care of our extremely shy cats several times now, and she is so wonderful! Kelly leaves nicely detailed updates and photos after every visit. It has been awesome to see one of our cats come out to say hi and even play with Kelly (which was a nice surprise since he’s so shy). When we come back from trips it is obvious they have been well cared for and they are happy. I always feel confident leaving my fur babies in Kelly’s care!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a little kid. I have always been best friends with our dogs. Animals usually feel calm and relaxed with me. I am aware of dog body language, and how to handle dogs when they start to fight with other dogs. I am patient and loving towards animals and I really care about how they feel, if they feel comfortable and loved by humans. I’m glad that I will be able to help when pet parents are away. I live in a two story apartment with two bedrooms and lots of space in the living room, where pets are run around, play freely. I am currently working from home so I will be able to take care of pets full time , I currently don’t have any of my own pets at home. I live in a nice clean 2 bedroom apartment with two floors, bright spacious living room and my bedroom where pets can sleep. Pets will surely enjoy my big comfy sofa and velvet blankets. They will be provided with RO system filtered water and treats. The neighborhood is quiet and nice with lots of grass, trees and plants.
“Celeste was so great with my shy cat Muta! Usually my cat hides around strangers but Celeste worked her magic! Would highly recommend as a sitter, very easy to work with and communicative!”

“Mike is a great catsitter! He has a lot of experience taking care of cats, so that put my mind at ease. My cat was well taken care of and Mike sent plenty of pictures and notes.”

“Mike was great! We were leaving our puppy in her crate at home for the first time for a night out. So she needed a check in to make sure she was chill. Mike came over and hung with her and her big sis for an hour and shared some great photos that let me know all was well!”

About: Though brand new to Rover, working with animals has been a large part of my life. Over the years, I've trained multiple dogs from mastiff mixes to feisty Frenchies, and watched and walked adventurous, puppy corgis to ever-sweet, older rescued street dogs. I absolutely love all dogs. They entertain, teach, excite, and fascinate me. From a young age, I've been training dogs, starting in dog shows and 4-H. Recently, I've expanded my training to behavior, agility, obedience, and nose work. I've also been involved in taking a deeper look at my own breed's history and standards, producing the Judge's Education presentation for the AKC. Not all, but some people have a breed of choice. And I'll admit, I've always had an affinity for Standard Schnauzers. They're challenging, intelligent (one used a mirror to communicate with me from around a corner), and extremely loyal—but also really good for a laugh! All dogs amuse me, but schnauzers have the same sort of humor as me, I guess. Fortunately, I got to grow up with them. My family raised several beloved litters of the healthiest, craziest pups! And though we had some pretty great moms, those babies kept us busy 24/7! After weening, it was time for intensive training. It was a lot of work grooming (at least getting them used to us touching their feet and face, while also attempting to brush them), exercising (so many hours working with each pup!), training (getting them on a leash without them chewing it), and cleaning up after those pups until most went to their forever homes. And I've loved them all until their inevitable end. But because of these experiences, I've challenged myself to train, compete, and get multiple titles on my own dogs. However, I've also worked with many dogs who were not my own, some rescue dogs and some purebreds, some with pretty sever health issues, both chronic and acute. But, from me, they’ve all required a few basics: clear direction, quiet confidence, consistent boundaries, rules, respect, and positive rewards; and out of that usually comes a bond of love and fun! In particular, I specialize in caring for young puppies, senior canines, and those dogs with special needs or who are recovering from illnesses, such as cancer treatment or kidney disease. Through Rover, I hope to connect with many more dogs and their owners! Helping out where I can. And it will be great to meet and work with you! Thank you for this opportunity! Currently, I work in the evenings, leaving the weekdays available to devote to your fur-kiddo! What to expect: First, we would meet—myself, you, and your pet—for introductions and to communicate any instructions, as well as to make sure both parties feel comfortable that this will work. If everything goes well, we would confirm the schedule and starting date. Walks will be in and around your neighborhood, depending on the conditions and environment. If the situation dictates, I would be able to transport your pet to a park or area that might suit the pet better for walks, exercise, and training, if desired. If a dog prefers to exercise in their own yard as opposed to walking, I could certainly accommodate this. Drop-In Visits will follow the instructions communicated at our first meeting. At that time, I will ask about and follow the rules, boundaries, and expectations set out for the household. I grew up using crate training, but can be flexible. If a dog needs special treatment or training, such as puppies, young adults, seniors, or those recovering from ailments, please let me know and I will be able to accommodate them. When working with puppies and young adults, I may ask if I could use treats or a favorite activity to promote and reward good behavior.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for 8 years and grew up with dogs my whole life. I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your dog with the same care, attention, and patience you would. Whether it’s a walk around the block or extra time for sniff breaks, I always make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I do freelance work from home so I have a flexible schedule Monday-Sunday. I’m able to care for your pet based on their needs and walking/feeding schedule. I have a fenced yard and a 9 yr old, medium dog (28lbs cocker Spanish mix) named Mia who’s very mellow. Your dog’s well-being is my priority. While you’re away, I create a calm, familiar environment where they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I follow their routine closely, pay attention to what makes them feel comfortable, and ensure they stay happy and secure until you return. You can feel confident knowing your dog is receiving thoughtful, reliable care every step of the way.

tianfan was amazing, as usual. she is very caring and took great care of my fur babies. one of the cats overeats and sometimes throws up and tianfan is always so kind to clean it all up. she also helped bring in some packages that arrived early. so glad to have tianfan look after the fur babies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the second weekend Sydney has done drop-in visits for my cat and she is wonderful. Her visit recaps and pictures are always detailed and make me feel happy to read/see when I’m missing my kitty. My cat loves her, and she doesn’t warm up to everyone, so I will absolutely have Sydney watch her again!

Haley was amazing with our two doggies while we were away. She stopped by for drop-in visits, fed them, and took Charlie out for walks. She always kept us updated on what they were up to and how they were doing, and she sent photos too, which we really appreciated. She also cleaned up after them and kept the house nice and tidy. Communication was easy the whole time, and she even brought our packages inside while we were gone. Our dogs warmed up to her quickly, and we’d absolutely love to use Haley again in the future. 🐶💛

Julia is amazing! She cared for Shadow who has behavioral issues with so much patience and care. She was very attentive to him and she sent video and picture updates. I fully trust her with my fur baby and would definitely schedule with her for all my dog sitting needs. I highly recommend!
Mackenzie did a great job taking care of our two cats. It was obvious she made them feel safe and loved, as one of ours was even giving belly rubs by the second or third visit. Their personalities were clearly represented in her messages which demonstrated to us that she very much gave them individualized care and attention.
