Not only can I take your high-energy dog for a long walk or run, I will also slow things down to give your elderly pet the time and attention they need. I’m known for never refusing a belly rub and always loving your pets like my own. I am also happy to check up on aquarium dwellers (like my client who has goldfish!) I am a professional dancer and summer is the slow season, so I have flexible hours that can fit anyone’s busy day. I am available for daytime check-ins, walks, and daycare any day of the week. My schedule easily allows for pet pickups/drop offs and house sitting. I am home most of the day to keep your dog company. If I am out of the house it usually will only be for a couple hours and I have a very friendly dog who will comfort your dog in my absence. Because I am home most of the time, I can do exercise and potty breaks as frequently as you would like.

About: Thanks for checking out my profile! Worried about your fur babies safety and care when your not home? Don’t worry I've been around dogs since I was a kid. I grew up around chihuahuas, huskies, pomeranian mixes, shiba inus, Korean Jindo dogs, cats, fishes, and more. Spending time with all of these breeds I have ample experience bathing, walking, and feeding our pets. Fun fact about me: I also graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in human biology and a minor in environmental systems. Two years ago, I adopted an adolescent 3 year old cat from a local shelter and have been caring for him ever since. He is a rambunctious kitty and I have learned fun and creative ways to get him to exercise and stay fairly fit. Just 7 months ago, I adopted my first personal dog, Luna a 1.5 year old puppy from Korea. Under my guidance and training, I've learned that she is incredibly talented and picks up tricks and skills so quickly. For example, I trained her to jump on rocks, benches, etc... on command, she can differentiate the differences between sit-pretty and stand on her hind legs. Basic commands like sit, down, stay, paw, spin, come, etc... I take her on multiple hour long walks every day, and would love the opportunity to spend time and dedicated care with your fur babies as well! I would love to dedicate my time to caring for your pets, either through long walks or pet check-ins, because they deserve to be well looked after while their parents are away from home. WHAT TO EXPECT: I will arrive 5-10 minutes early and get your dog ready for a walk. Your dog will get a full 30-minute (or 60-minute) walk. Then I'll drop your dog off at home, refill their water, and give any last-minute pets for 5 minutes. Rover cards and pictures will be shared once the walk is complete :D During the walk with your dog, I will always: 1. Ensure provided equipment and leashes are safe and secure to use (as well as bring my own in case of emergencies) 2. Ensure your dog's favorite treats are in my training pouch before the walk 3. Provide ample water for your pet during/after their walk 4. Scan and be observant of my surroundings to ensure your dog's safety 5. Cross the street to avoid any on-leash greetings or off-leash dogs During the pet (30-minute) check-ins with your pet, I will always: 1. Spend 5 minutes carefully entering your home and kindly greeting your pet with their favorite treat 2. Take them on a 10-minute potty break outside if needed 3. Spend 10 minutes playing with them inside your home 4. Spend the last 5 minutes giving any last-minute cuddles and love as I can More time will be spent loving your pet for a 60-minute check-in!

About: Back home in Atlanta, GA, I cared for our family's dogs that lived to ten and fifteen years old, with our youngest dog turning fourteen this year. From walks on the leash, to fenced yard time, to cleaning indoor accidents, every animal deserves the care needed to live a happy, healthy life. Now, residing in LA County, I'm on year two of taking care of my rescue kitty. She is friendly but can always be kept in a separate room for guests' comfort. I live in a quiet neighborhood with safe, walkable sidewalks and have an in-unit balcony for fresh air in between walks! As a professional actor & NBA dancer, my work schedule varies each week. In my home, I have an in-unit balcony that allows dogs to get fresh air in between walks. The large windows and cat hammock overlooking the balcony make for a great view as well. The unit has plenty of open space with no fragile items/furniture accessible to pets. Just outside of my apartment building is a quiet, walkable sidewalk for leashed walks.

About: We're a family of four dog lovers who often take care of our neighbor's dog (and cats). We have one indoor cat who thinks he is a dog and plays with dogs and another indoor cat who likes to hide. We used to have a dog before, so we know how to train dog and teach dog tricks. My experience administering medication with instructions, sure. I work at home part time, so I have the flexibility to keep dogs company. I live close to the park and generally takes long walks daily. It depends on different dogs' needs. I often follow owner's instruction and try to keep the staying as close to as the dog's original home condition.

About: I've had many dogs growing up from a Chihuahua, Sharpei, Husky and now three of my own rescue mutts. Recently, I volunteered with a rescue in Agoura Hills bringing in dogs from Korea for a year, transporting them from LAX to an adoption center. Also, I have volunteered at the Pasadena Humane Society and North Central Shelter here in LA. Paying close attention to detail, I administered daily medication, fed a special diet (often cooking homemade meals) and had monthly vet visits for a senior dog all while taking care of my young toddler. Since I've been a full time mom, I have most weekdays free between school hours and some evenings. When I don't have to take my daughter to her weekly activities, I am also available weekends. I'm pretty flexible and could be available on short notice. I have 3 dogs who are all potty trained and do not need to be crated. I understand everybody has different needs and environments, which I am open to assisting. I strongly believe in mental and physical stimulation for pets and therefore can play with them, give toys, snuffle mats, fetch balls, go over basic commands and even give baths. Walks are ideal in their own neighborhood, or just letting them out in their yard if that's what they're use to. I am able to give treats, or food when needed and give medication. Most importantly, I want my pets to feel safe, given undivided attention, and loved.
