“Dean is incredible! I can’t tell you how detailed and helpful, attentive and prompt Dean is! If Dean isn’t available I second guess if I should even go out of town!!”

“Absolutely the best Dog walker. 11/10. Very flexible, communicative, and understands dogs and their behavior. I would recommend to anyone and I would definitely use his services again. Thank you Paul.”

About: I look forward to sharing my love and attention with pets whose people need a helping hand. I grew up with multiple cats and dogs and became responsible for my own dog at 12. Together my dog and I successfully completed her Canine Good Citizen training where I learned about effective motivation and discipline, animal safety and public etiquette. Throughout my life, I have regularly volunteered with local animal shelters to assist with dog walking and cat socialization and recently I have been helping my housemate with her dog boarding business. I am working part time this summer with flexible hours that give me lots of free time and availability for pet care. I am an active person and would love to walk or jog with your pup. Safety always comes first. Beyond that, each pet is unique and I prefer to follow owner guidelines and routines that make their pet most comfortable. Having your person go away can be very stressful for a pet, so I always do my best to be attentive to their needs while maintaining a calm and familiar environment.
“Kia was AWESOME, our Vizsla loves him! Our crazy pup got 8k steps in and is now ready for a nap. Kia sent us photos and updates of Jeffrey’s progress the entire time, we will be booking with him again”

“Yesenia made my little pup so happy, and tired her out just enough so she was very content when I got home. And there was great communication and photos throughout. I will ask her to walk my dog again. She was great!”

“Adam has been our go-to dog whisperer since moving to the Bay Area two years ago. We were lucky to have him housesit for us while we were gone for a few days recently. He was great with our Akita, Pitt-mix, and two energetic cats. He kept us informed with what was going on, sending pictures and updates throughout the day. Since then he’s walked our monsters a few other times and he’s handled it like a pro. His great personality makes him a great fit for our pack, as well as someone we trust to have in our home. All of us are big fans of Adam. You’re lucky you found him.”

“I have a Great Dane who is very reactive to people and moving objects. I needed a walker in an emergency and contacted rover and choose Julien to walk him 2 times a day. I was worried at first however after our meet and greet I felt confident with my choice. Julien was perfect! He handled my precious dog with ease and confidence. Even when my dog did a few naughty things in my house he kindly took action and handled the problem as well as notified me and help correct the issue. Moving forward I would choose Julian for all of my needs walking Siren.”
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have personally lived with 5 cats during my life time and have taken care of dogs outside of my house for friends and family. Of those 5 cats, 3 I have taken care of until they passed away, so I know how to take care of both young and older animals. I am currently a behavior therapist for children with autism. I am a very patient and calm person that extends to both my personal and professional life. It is very important to me to get to have a good relationship with the pet that I am taking care of. I currently work part time as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. I am completely free on the weekends and have time early afternoon and late at night on weekdays to do drop ins or stay the night. I am more than willing to follow any care that is required for the pet in question. I will take the time the play with them, take them on walks, give them food, and medicine if that is something they need. I will make sure they treat your home respectfully as I know from experience that cats and dogs alike enjoy doing things with furniture that they are not supposed to. I will always make sure that your pet is happy and comfortable when around me.
“Namie just started walking my dog and she’s been great. My dog liked her immediately. Namie is on time and I appreciate her notes about my dog’s walk. My dog is reactive with other dogs and 65-pounds. Namie has been able to handle her with no problem. Definitely recommend her.”

“April is incredible. Her calm demeanor made for an unbelievably easy introduction to our anxious and reactive dogs. I don’t worry at all about the dogs with April around. Her feedback is also thorough, and she rolls with whatever annoyingness the dogs throw her way.”

About: Growing up, we always had a family dog, so I approach my care as if your pet is a member of my family. My experience began in college when I would housesit/dogsit for a family near my campus who needed care for their dog when they went out of town or couldn't be home on time. Their dog needed medication, so I was responsible for feeding and administering the medication. Throughout the years, I've helped out friends and family and have been a certified Rover sitter for about three years. I work remote with a flexible work schedule. I take walks at different times of the day, so adding your pet's care to my day is not a problem. I would love for your dog to join me on my walks or visit with them during the day for companionship and playtime. ***NOTE: I am also able to provide doggy daycare in your home rather than mine if that works better for you. My neighborhood is great for walks with the ability to stay on quieter streets if your dog prefers less traffic noise. Regarding care in your home, I am happy to follow all instructions that keep your pet comfortable in their space. I find it very important to keep your dog's schedule as normal as possible to avoid any distress while you are away.
“Diana is amazing! We needed a last minute dog walker and Diana was there. My dog absolutely loves her and she went above and beyond to make sure he was walked and that his water was full, and she stuck to our routine. She is so friendly and good with our dog that we hope to keep her in our rotation. She's the best!”

About: I have been dog walking since middle school, and caring for dogs was my very first job. Over the years, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I bring that long-term experience to every walk. I previously owned both a Labrador and a Pitbull, so I am very comfortable handling larger, stronger breeds as well as energetic dogs. I also currently care for a senior Chihuahua, which has given me a deep appreciation for patience, routine, and gentle handling. I am attentive to each dog’s individual needs and body language, whether that means a structured, active walk or a slower, sniff-focused stroll. Safety, consistency, and calm energy are always my priorities, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.
“I was in the middle of potty training and needed a last minute walker. Sophia was on another walk but showed up immediately after. She saved the day! Thank you!”

“Andi took great care of our pup! Just after the Meet and Greet, our pup was clawed in the eye by a stray cat! Andi adjusted her plans, administered eye drops, and took the Cone of Shame off for walk time and back on afterwards. Thanks Andi!”

Sofia has not known Ollie that long. but he is very comfortable with her. She listens to his over anxious human (me) and she is attentive, conscientious. calm, and observant to his need for structure. . Its such a relief to have my boy in tbe hands of someone who respects his terrier nature and little big dog attitude. She will be a great doctor!
I have a large breed dog, and I really appreciate how Olga consistently gets Dudley out for at least a 1.5 mile walk (60 min) during each of her visits. It helps with his energy and anxiety to get solid walks in. We also have to pup proof the gate since he throws his body against it to get out. Olga understands this and has had to problem solve on the fly. We will continue to work with Olga as the summer approaches.

Katie is wonderful! She is so sweet, patient and gentle with our senior border collie. I can tell that he is loving his walks with her when I'm not home. She follows instructions very diligently and even picks up my mail off the floor! (without my request, very considerate!) I highly recommend Katie, she will treat your baby like her own.
