About: Hi! My name is Maggie, and I’m a junior at UCSB studying biology. I’ve grown up around all kinds of pets and have always loved caring for animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, Baby, a Yorkie, and Lexi, a Golden Retriever. They are definitely opposite ends of the dog spectrum but I love them so much and am very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels! I also have previous dog sitting experience and understand how important it is to pay attention to each pet’s individual routine and needs. I’m hardworking, energetic, responsible, and detail oriented. I love being outdoors, hiking, and going on walks, so I’d be more than happy to bring your furry family member along for some exercise and adventure. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and gets plenty of attention while you’re away! I’m currently home from college for the next couple of weeks, so my schedule is completely open and very flexible! I’m available throughout the day, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to work around whatever schedule is best for you and your pet. Whether it’s walks, dropins, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’d be more than happy to help! I have two dogs of my own who I feed, walk, play with, and care for every day, so pet care is already a big part of my routine. My little Yorkie, Baby, even sleeps with me every night! I’m very attentive to pets’ routines and make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and attention, and are always in a safe environment. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and will follow any specific instructions carefully so their pet can stay comfortable with their normal routine while they’re away.

About: Thanks for checking out my profile! Worried about your fur babies safety and care when your not home? Don’t worry I've been around dogs since I was a kid. I grew up around chihuahuas, huskies, pomeranian mixes, shiba inus, Korean Jindo dogs, cats, fishes, and more. Spending time with all of these breeds I have ample experience bathing, walking, and feeding our pets. Fun fact about me: I also graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in human biology and a minor in environmental systems. Two years ago, I adopted an adolescent 3 year old cat from a local shelter and have been caring for him ever since. He is a rambunctious kitty and I have learned fun and creative ways to get him to exercise and stay fairly fit. Just 7 months ago, I adopted my first personal dog, Luna a 1.5 year old puppy from Korea. Under my guidance and training, I've learned that she is incredibly talented and picks up tricks and skills so quickly. For example, I trained her to jump on rocks, benches, etc... on command, she can differentiate the differences between sit-pretty and stand on her hind legs. Basic commands like sit, down, stay, paw, spin, come, etc... I take her on multiple hour long walks every day, and would love the opportunity to spend time and dedicated care with your fur babies as well! I would love to dedicate my time to caring for your pets, either through long walks or pet check-ins, because they deserve to be well looked after while their parents are away from home. WHAT TO EXPECT: I will arrive 5-10 minutes early and get your dog ready for a walk. Your dog will get a full 30-minute (or 60-minute) walk. Then I'll drop your dog off at home, refill their water, and give any last-minute pets for 5 minutes. Rover cards and pictures will be shared once the walk is complete :D During the walk with your dog, I will always: 1. Ensure provided equipment and leashes are safe and secure to use (as well as bring my own in case of emergencies) 2. Ensure your dog's favorite treats are in my training pouch before the walk 3. Provide ample water for your pet during/after their walk 4. Scan and be observant of my surroundings to ensure your dog's safety 5. Cross the street to avoid any on-leash greetings or off-leash dogs During the pet (30-minute) check-ins with your pet, I will always: 1. Spend 5 minutes carefully entering your home and kindly greeting your pet with their favorite treat 2. Take them on a 10-minute potty break outside if needed 3. Spend 10 minutes playing with them inside your home 4. Spend the last 5 minutes giving any last-minute cuddles and love as I can More time will be spent loving your pet for a 60-minute check-in!

I volunteer at two cat shelters, where I’ve handled everything from feeding and administering medication to socializing shy or nervous cats. At home, I have 6 cats of my own, so I’m well-versed in the daily care, behavior patterns, and little quirks that make each cat unique. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just making sure they feel safe and comfortable, I truly love spending time with cats and understanding what makes them tick. I work from home and on a super flexible schedule so I have a lot of time on my hands. Holly has a great presence, and is obviously very experienced with dogs. She is conscientious with things like how hot it is outside, and observing the dog's behavior that day; and is also on-time and responsive. About: Back home in Atlanta, GA, I cared for our family's dogs that lived to ten and fifteen years old, with our youngest dog turning fourteen this year. From walks on the leash, to fenced yard time, to cleaning indoor accidents, every animal deserves the care needed to live a happy, healthy life. Now, residing in LA County, I'm on year two of taking care of my rescue kitty. She is friendly but can always be kept in a separate room for guests' comfort. I live in a quiet neighborhood with safe, walkable sidewalks and have an in-unit balcony for fresh air in between walks! As a professional actor & NBA dancer, my work schedule varies each week. I feel most grounded when I schedule daily walks or park time for myself and would love a furry companion to enjoy the fresh air with! In addition to the entertainment industry, I work a remote job that brings hip hop dance programming to youth in underserved communities. These flexible hours allow room for pet care at various hours throughout the day, so I may continue working towards my passions whilst ensuring the best care for your pet. In my home, I have an in-unit balcony that allows dogs to get fresh air in between walks. The large windows and cat hammock overlooking the balcony make for a great view as well. The unit has plenty of open space with no fragile items/furniture accessible to pets. Just outside of my apartment building is a quiet, walkable sidewalk for leashed walks.

I really appreciate that Dean took the time to come over the day before to meet me and my dog and connect with my dog before that first walk. The day of the first walk it was really hot and my dog just wasn’t having it. She kept heading home. It meant a lot that Dean read my dog’s energy and didn’t push her to go the full hour walk. I have dog sit and walked from past / present for over 5+ years. Any time a family or friend needed me to help them for ether dog watching or walking I am always there ❤️ I am looking forward to anyone who is interested in my experiance. At the moment. I am currently open to any hours of house sitting or any oets can come to my place. As well as walking I have open availability. At the moment I do not own any pets . How ever, I am always asked from family , friends or neighbors if I can watch their beloved dog or walk them around while they need to do something. I love that I can provide this service to others.
