Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a child and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience with puppies (my own dog gave birth to 9 puppies that I helped raise and care for!), senior dogs, and homes with multiple dogs. As a husky owner, I’m very comfortable with energetic small, medium, and large breeds and understand how important exercise, structure, and attention are for a happy dog. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications and know how important it is to give them properly and on schedule. I gained this experience while caring for my own husky when she needed medication as a puppy. Since I’m not currently working full time, I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. That means lots of supervision, playtime, walks, cuddles, and just keeping them company throughout the day. I only take 1 to 2 guest dogs at a time, depending on size, so each dog gets plenty of attention. If needed, I can safely separate dogs to make sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to. I treat every dog like family and always send regular photo and message updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part time and am on call as needed, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs I care for. At home, my own dogs go out for walks at least twice a day, and I make sure they get lots of exercise, playtime, attention, and potty breaks throughout the day. On weekends, I’m usually home most of the time, so the dogs get even more company and care. I’m also home most evenings, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I really enjoy sending photo and message updates throughout the day too, so you can see how your pup is doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I always try to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my main focus. I take time to learn each dog’s routine and personality so they can feel relaxed and at home with me. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family and are always supervised. I only take a small number of dogs at a time so I can give each one plenty of attention, and I can separate them if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I make sure they get regular potty breaks, walks, fresh water, and lots of love throughout the day. I also send photo and message updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I truly care for every dog like they’re my own and want them to feel happy, safe, and loved while in my care.

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. “Albert, Cat, and Trey were so lovely to work with! They were very responsive and provided me with plenty of updates and photos. Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy. “This was Arnie's first time boarding with a sitter, and he had a wonderful time with Loretta. He made a new best friend with another dog, and had such a good time that he didn't seem to miss us that much (I think he enjoyed his vacation!) Loretta shared pictures and commentary with us so we always felt in touch with Arnie. I was most impressed with her flexibility - our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we needed to have Arnie stay with Loretta an additional day. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
“Home looks secure with tall wooden fencing- nice for a larger dog. Shu Ting sent many photos everyday as updates. Was nice to see that our Dali was doing just fine while we were away. Shu Ting was also great in accommodating an extra night for us. We had originally talked about extending our stay and then cancelled before we left, then on our ‘last day’ we were able to extend our trip one more night and she was ok with taking care of our Dali another night last minute.
