Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

In our house there always been some cat who fully believed it owned the house and graciously allowed us to live in it. 4 years ago life upgraded me to the world of dogs when I started dating a guy with a big rescue pup. About: Growing up, we always had a family dog, so I approach my care as if your pet is a member of my family. My experience began in college when I would housesit/dogsit for a family near my campus who needed care for their dog when they went out of town or couldn't be home on time. Their dog needed medication, so I was responsible for feeding and administering the medication. Throughout the years, I've helped out friends and family and have been a certified Rover sitter for four years. I work remotely and take walks during the day, so adding your pet's care to my schedule is not a problem. I would love for your dog to join me on my walks or visit with them during the day for companionship and playtime. *NOTE* I am also able to provide doggy daycare in your home rather than mine if that works better for you. My neighborhood is great for walks with the ability to stay on quieter streets if your dog prefers less traffic noise. Regarding care in your home, I am happy to follow all instructions that keep your pet comfortable in their space. I find it very important to keep your dog's schedule as normal as possible to avoid any distress while you are away.
About: My experience with pets goes all the way back to when I was 12. Currently I have two Dobermans who I love to look after. My family has always trusted me with their dogs and I grew to like the part of having my own. I always follow a feeding schedule with my dogs and of course an activity one as well. About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a child and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience with puppies (my own dog gave birth to 9 puppies that I helped raise and care for!), senior dogs, and homes with multiple dogs. As a husky owner, I’m very comfortable with energetic small, medium, and large breeds and understand how important exercise, structure, and attention are for a happy dog. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications and know how important it is to give them properly and on schedule. I gained this experience while caring for my own husky when she needed medication as a puppy. Since I’m not currently working full time, I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. That means lots of supervision, playtime, walks, cuddles, and just keeping them company throughout the day. I only take 1 to 2 guest dogs at a time, depending on size, so each dog gets plenty of attention. If needed, I can safely separate dogs to make sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to. I treat every dog like family and always send regular photo and message updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part time and am on call as needed, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs I care for. At home, my own dogs go out for walks at least twice a day, and I make sure they get lots of exercise, playtime, attention, and potty breaks throughout the day. On weekends, I’m usually home most of the time, so the dogs get even more company and care. I’m also home most evenings, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I really enjoy sending photo and message updates throughout the day too, so you can see how your pup is doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I always try to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my main focus. I take time to learn each dog’s routine and personality so they can feel relaxed and at home with me. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family and are always supervised. I only take a small number of dogs at a time so I can give each one plenty of attention, and I can separate them if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I make sure they get regular potty breaks, walks, fresh water, and lots of love throughout the day. I also send photo and message updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I truly care for every dog like they’re my own and want them to feel happy, safe, and loved while in my care.

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
“This was Arnie's first time boarding with a sitter, and he had a wonderful time with Loretta. He made a new best friend with another dog, and had such a good time that he didn't seem to miss us that much (I think he enjoyed his vacation!) Loretta shared pictures and commentary with us so we always felt in touch with Arnie. I was most impressed with her flexibility - our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we needed to have Arnie stay with Loretta an additional day. She was very accommodating, and everything went smoothly. Loretta is very responsive to messages and obviously loves dogs! I would highly recommend!”

“Julianne was a perfect match for my dog Honey. They got along great and she made Honey feel right at home. From the pictures and face timing I could see my dog was really enjoying herself. When I picked up Honey she was as calm and cool as a cucumber. Usually she has so much anxiety and is usually over excited to see me. Not this time! I loved how close Julianne lives to my home.
