“We needed to find a pet sitter for our dog, Pepi, for a month, a long time to be away. Pepi is a small terrier rescue who can be timid and has particular eating habits. She’s very calm and needs a low key environment. We spent much time reviewing sitters seeking a place where Pepi could live a similar lifestyle as she does at home. So lucky, we found Joyce! She has two small sweet dogs. After we met, I felt confident that Pepi would be in good hands along with good doggy company. During our trip, we received photos and videos daily, many times twice a day. I could see Pepi was happy and enjoyed the company of her two lovely dogs. The photos showed walks, Pepi eating well while enjoying the doggie company. She made friends. I could tell Pepi was happy and I made the right choice. I highly recommend Joyce. She provided excellent care. She shopped for additional food for Pepi’s diet and let me know she was doing well. When planning the next time away, I would not hesitate arranging my schedule first to be sure Joyce would be available to care for Pepi. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

I am out on maternity leave and would love a fun way to get my steps in every day. :) I absolutely love dogs but with the expansion of our human family we're not in a space to get one ourselves. About: I volunteered at a dog shelter once and it made me so happy, so I want to keep doing this. The dog I took care of was named Jumanji, and she was really happy to walk around the city with me, visit different parks, and get treats from shops. Walking dogs is healing, fun, and great exercise for dogs and for myself. I'm happy to do that and I have a flexible schedule. My availability is as follows: - Tuesday and Thursday at 8am-8pm - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5pm-8pm If you have special requests outside of these times, I'm happy to take them on a case by case basis. During every walk, I keep dogs safely on a leash and stay aware of traffic, cyclists, and our surroundings. I pay attention to traffic signals, walk at each dog's pace, provide water when needed, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and have a fun, positive experience.
