“Lijuan is a great pet sitter. She watches my cat Mimi, who is usually a bit shy with some people, but she appears very happy and calm when in her care. She even rolls over and shows her belly to be pet and loves playing with her. I feel very comfortable knowing Mimi is in her care.”

“Joy did an outstanding job caring for our furry friends while we were away. We couldn't have asked for a better person to ensure that our cats were fed, hydrated, and comfortable. She went above and beyond in taking care of our cats' needs and addressing other important matters. Additionally, she diligently checked our mail and promptly alerted us when unexpected events occurred, such as the fire alarm. Joy consistently demonstrated her attentiveness and responsiveness. Every aspect of her care for our cats and our house exhibited her dedication and professionalism. We are grateful for her reliability, thoroughness, and the peace of mind she provided us. She genuinely cared for our cats and our home, and we enthusiastically recommend her to anyone in search of a responsible and compassionate pet sitter. We are eagerly looking forward to booking her services again soon!”

About: ***UPDATE! Opening my profile up to new clients again after about a year, as I have some openings! Feel free to reach out with inquiries!*** I have had dogs my entire life, and what can I say — I just love them. I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and even spent a few years training dogs at the American Kennel Club (AKC). I rescued my own pup nearly 10 years ago, and rescued my cat ~5 years ago now-- and have since been equally obsessed with felines. They’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect. Over the years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, before opening my network to my neighborhood. ***Key Notes: - Currently, I am open for dog walking and dog/cat drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions! - For 60-minute walks, depending on location, weather and your comfort level, I can take your pup(s) for a hike or trail-run nearby! - I have a range of experience, from energetic and exercise-craving dogs to elderly pups who require gentle care and a patient, slower speed. I love providing care for either side of the spectrum, and all in between. The bottom line is: the safety of your dog/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my dog and cat, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to know what makes your beloved pet unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. I’m a good communicator — from medications to leash/sidewalk politics to triggers and everything in between, you can rest assured we will be on the same page. I have experience caring for all shapes and sizes: - Chihuahuas and Terriers (my dog Jack is a mix!) - Bernese Mountain Dogs - Border Collie Mixes - Shepherds - Staffy’s - Golden Retrievers - Shelties - Samoyeds - King Charles - Schnauzers - Norwegian Forest Cats - Tabbies I am happy to take on puppies/kittens and can integrate any training you might be working on with your fur-kiddo. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most walks and drop-ins depending on your needs. Just shoot me a request and I’ll get back to you right away. I treat everyone’s home with the same respect I expect at my own. I also take privacy very seriously. I am always happy to do meet-and-greets at a public park (or similar) before services. Again, I get it — you're trusting someone new in your home and with your animals. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible!
“Jessica was quick and easy to communicate with, both before confirming a booking and throughout her time with our kitties. She always gave great and informative updates and provided lots of pictures, as well as pets, cuddles, and playtime for the cats! We felt very comfortable entrusting our cats to her during our trip.”

“Thank you Shirley for taking care of Phifer! She made us feel safe and even reminded me that she locked the door before leaving. Highly recommend and will reach out again when I need a sitter!”

About: Growing up, we always had a family dog, so I approach my care as if your pet is a member of my family. My experience began in college when I would housesit/dogsit for a family near my campus who needed care for their dog when they went out of town or couldn't be home on time. Their dog needed medication, so I was responsible for feeding and administering the medication. Throughout the years, I've helped out friends and family and have been a certified Rover sitter for four years. I work remotely and take walks during the day, so adding your pet's care to my schedule is not a problem. I would love for your dog to join me on my walks or visit with them during the day for companionship and playtime. *NOTE* I am also able to provide doggy daycare in your home rather than mine if that works better for you. My neighborhood is great for walks with the ability to stay on quieter streets if your dog prefers less traffic noise. Regarding care in your home, I am happy to follow all instructions that keep your pet comfortable in their space. I find it very important to keep your dog's schedule as normal as possible to avoid any distress while you are away.
“Gabriella is amazing! She was ultra patient and took her time getting to know and build trust with my cat, Donnie. Super easy communication, excellent care. Donnie was lucky to have her there.”

“Brandi was absolutely amazing! We’re new kitten parents, so we were a bit anxious about leaving our babes with someone new, but she went above and beyond from the very first visit. She kept us updated every check-in, sent multiple photos, and took such wonderful care of them. We could tell they felt safe, loved, and totally comfortable with her. We’re so grateful for Brandi and would 100% book with her again!”

About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

I spent a long time looking for the perfect rover cat sitter, and Kelly is it! She played with them, and I could tell they were less bored while I was away. She was reliable and put my mind at ease. I loved all the pictures and appreciate all the attention and kindness she gave my two kitties. Thank you, Kelly!!

Aline went above and beyond to take care of my kitty! She took care of him as if he were her own and she set my mind at ease since I was so anxious about leaving him. I was able to enjoy my trip because of her. I am truly grateful for the love and care she showed my kitten. Thank you, Aline!
Faye is all you could ask for in a pet sitter and more! She went above and beyond in caring for our two cats and we could not have felt more at ease knowing they were in her hands. She gave them attention, stimulation, and attended to all of their needs. She kept us well informed of how they were doing and even went to great lengths to battle the ant colony that decide to invade their food dishes while we were away. We are so grateful for all of Faye’s efforts and care and will definitely be booking her again in the future!

Camille was very nice and communicative. We have very shy cats and this was their first visit with Camille. While they didn’t come out, it’s typical for them, and I think they will warm up to her quickly. She also let us know when we had a problem with some mail and was very helpful.

Kathleen was amazing! She was extremely thorough with all the details I provided and sent updates throughout the duration of the stay. I'm always an anxious individual with new people taking care of my dog, but she made me feel quickly at ease and picked up on all the things I'd be concerned about. Also, Kathleen is extremely quick to respond at all and always available. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
