About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.
About: Huy and I are two huge animal lovers and devoted parents to a 9 month old Australian Labradoodle named Ollie. We love spoiling him and taking care of all of his super picky needs. We would love to open our home to neighborhood pups who need day care - we know that dog parents need the escape once in a while! We know that every pet has their own personality and their own specific routine - we are all ears on what that sounds like for your baby and will follow those guidelines very seriously. Safety is our #1 priority and there will be no risks taken when your pets are in our care. We are big communicators so feel free to text us for real time updates and photos of how your pets are doing and we will answer quickly! Huy works from home Monday through Friday and Amanda is on a hybrid schedule. Our computer work allows us to be a little more flexible in making sure your pets are attended to. When caring for pets in our home, we make sure they have a safe, comfortable space, consistent routines, and plenty of play and exercise. In a client’s home, we follow their pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible - feeding, walks, and downtime, so things feel familiar and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to a strict medication routine.
About: As a former owner of a golden retriever that I've trained myself, I have firsthand experience with the needs and joys of dog ownership. I frequently train my sister’s Carolina dog, which has deepened my understanding of diverse dog behaviors and training techniques. As a runner, I genuinely enjoy walking and running with a variety of dogs, ensuring they get the exercise and engagement they need. This passion for canine care has inspired me to offer my services as a dog-sitter and walker. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your furry friends, making sure they receive the attention and activity they deserve while you’re away. I also do headbutts with cats. I currently work at a co-working space, running a company and I've started a YouTube channel. I work on my own schedule, so I have time to play with and walk/run dogs! I also have had experience taking care of cats. I prioritize maintaining the dog's routine and comfort in their familiar surroundings. Before each visit, I carefully review their instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication administration (if needed), exercise needs, and any specific behavioral considerations. During my visits, I will focus on providing engaging playtime, ensuring sufficient exercise (walks, playtime in the yard, etc.), and plenty of attention and affection. I'll maintain cleanliness by promptly cleaning up any accidents and ensuring the space remains tidy. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable care that allows the dog to feel safe and happy while you are away
“Laura took such fantastic care of our cat Otto during a long trip, taking extra care and coordination because he had hurt his paw the day before we left and had to see the vet. Otto adored her and trusted her, and she showered him with fun and attention and love. We so appreciated her excellent communication. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone as reliable and caring and kind. We appreciated her care so much - as did Otto!”

“My pup hasn’t really had an appetite but Sophia was able to get him to eat based all my detailed instructions. I really appreciate her help, she’s always ready and reliable.”

“Alyssa was great!! Super attentive and paid attention to all the instructions I left behind. She also sent me pictures of my cat every day. Would definitely reach out for her services again if needed!”

“Kyle was invaluable by looking after our reptiles on short notice that we were able to have peace of mind while abroad without having to board then. We definitely would recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“Payton was amazing! Great communication and follow instructions. My cat doesn’t like anyone but she likes her which is good thing! Will definitely use her service again next time. Thank you Payton!”

No matter the size, your pup is in safe, capable hands. As a flexible local professional, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Because I manage my own schedule, I am out and about in the Pasadena area every day, making it easy to accommodate prompt drop-ins and structured walks when you need them most. My routine is highly active, which is perfect for high-energy working breeds that need consistent, timely mid-day exercise to break up their day. At the same time, my flexibility allows me to easily tailor my schedule for smaller or senior dogs who need dedicated, calm potty breaks and attention. Whether you need a regular weekly schedule or occasional check-ins, I build my days around ensuring your pets get consistent, reliable, and on-time care. When caring for your pets, my absolute priority is safety, structural consistency, and clear communication. For Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits: I tailor every visit to your dog's specific size, energy level, and temperament. For large or high-energy breeds, I focus on confident leash handling, maintaining their established training commands, and giving them a robust, engaging workout to burn off steam safely. For medium and smaller dogs, I adjust the pace to ensure a comfortable, stress-free stroll or focused playtime. For House Sitting (In Your Home): I respect your space entirely and keep your dog’s exact home routine intact to prevent any separation anxiety. I ensure they are fed on time, kept on their regular potty schedule, and given plenty of attention. You will receive regular check-ins and high-quality photo updates during every single service so you always have total peace of mind.

“Sonia is so great with watching our doberman, they get along together great and she plays his favorite games with him. Our dog loves it when Sonia comes to see him!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my home, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’m very familiar with different dog personalities, habits, and daily routines—from energetic puppies to calm, older dogs. I understand the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement, especially for younger dogs. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. What sets me apart is my patience and attentiveness. I treat every dog as part of the family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. “I really appreciate Samantha’s willingness to take the time to work with my pup. He can struggle with new people coming into his home, and she was very experienced in her approach!”

“Thank you, thank you!! Robin was amazing - communicated regularly, promptly on schedule, and really gave our cats the love and care we hoped they would get. She’ll be our first stop next time we need cat care.”
“Wouldn’t recommend or trust anyone else but Diana to watch our fur babies! They can both be a little high maintenance in their own ways and Diana went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for while we were away. She communicated frequently and sent cute photos! We’re thankful to Diana and can’t wait her to book her next time we need assistance for Eazy & Onyx!”

“This was our first time reaching out for a pet sitter. We had previously used family members to care for our dogs, but with time restrictions and our family relocating, we found it more difficult to coordinate our schedules. That's when we reached out to Rover.com. I must say, we were a little anxious about having a complete stranger coming into our home and taking care of our two fur babies; Sam and Lila. My husband and I wanted to go on an impromptu beach visit to just get away before the holidays; so we went to Rover.com to see if there was someone compatible with what we were looking for in a sitter for our dogs. We looked around the site and of course did the searches close to our home. Now, what do you look for in a pet sitter? Well, we looked for someone that was in our area and of course someone who loves animals. Then, we found Brody! To be honest, my husband was the one who chose Brody based on his profile. Brody's caption; Dogs like bald heads apparently! This made us both laugh.. since my husband is bald as well and every dog loves him too! Well, we invited Brody over to meet us the day before we were to go on our trip and we really enjoyed his awesome vibe, personality and his genuine love for dogs which didn't surprise us when we found out that he has dogs of his own. So, after deciding on Brody and meeting him in person we were impressed! Our first meet up included Brody come in the front door and that our dogs would be receptive! YES! Mission accomplished! Our dogs were super happy to see Brody walk in the first time and every time thereafter! Brody kept our dogs on schedule as requested. Brody also took care care of closing our house blinds and turning lights on and off throughout his visits to make our dogs were comfortable through out the day and also giving our home a lived in look while we were out of town. Brody checked in when he started, and checked out when he was finished with a comment and photos of our pups at the time. I would highly recommend Brody to take care of your pets if you need a weekender or any other trip away from your home. We have already let Brody know that we will definitely be requiring his service at least once a month going forward in the spring and a long trip in May that we can look forward to booking having this peace of mind. We will definitely ask Brody to watch our Sam and Lila again!!”

About: I have owned a German shepherd dog for 7 years, and caring for him was in itself a part time job. I spent hours over those years training him, teaching him to walk properly on a leash, socializing him with other pets, and loving him. My personal experience allows me to treat your pets with the same care I did with my own. I currently work part-time, so caring for your pets will be my top priority when I am with them. All my attention will be focused on their safety and love! With experience owning a large German shepherd dog, I have the skill and experience needed to crate pets when necessary, play with them to have fun whilst letting out energy, and am able to walk dogs easily on a leash.
“We were a little anxious about leaving our elderly cat for a trip, but Shari quickly put our minds at ease. She clearly has a lot of experience with cats, and her daily updates were thorough and reassured us he was in good hands. We highly recommend Shari and will definitely contact her in the future.”

South East pet parents share their Rover experiences
Charmaine took great care of our cat while we were on vacation! It was our first time leaving since we’d adopted her, so I was a little nervous, but Charmaine made sure our cat was well taken care of and took a ton of pictures during each visit! She even brought some new toys for our cat, and was content to simple snuggle with our cat on the couch if she wasn’t in the mood to play. Thank you, Charmaine!

She was so good with Jessica. Usually she's super shy with new people and she immediately im ate treats from Anne. Her energy was great. Clearly she has a connection with the animals. It was less hard going on a trip knowing my cat was in good hands. She also sent the cutest photos.

Mari is such a pleasant person to be around. She understood exactly what it takes to care for an older cat with health conditions like our Ziggy. I really appreciated the level of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and experience she brought, even with a long list of medications and feeding instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares deeply about both the animals and the people who love them.

Michelle is incredible and I’m so glad that she cared for our dogs while we were out of town! She sent us so many photos and videos which kept us feeling less homesick for our dogs (and we knew they were being well taken care of!) and they clearly adored her as well. When a health issue came up with one of our dogs, she was quick to notice and administer medication, even though we hadn’t discussed it before we left. She was thorough, attentive, and went above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about Michelle and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
