“Paul has an innate way with dogs. After meeting our dog, Paul quickly assessed his special needs and some easy tips for how to train him. We love Paul and would highly recommend him to others.”

“Kyle was invaluable by looking after our reptiles on short notice that we were able to have peace of mind while abroad without having to board then. We definitely would recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“Matthew is incredible! Perfect for big dog owners! We have a dog with a lot of quirks and he had no problem working with them. I was so comfortable knowing he was taking care of my babies!”

About: I have experience caring for small to medium-sized dogs, both through dogsitting for other families and taking care of my own two small dogs at home. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving lots of attention. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Right now, I am free almost every single day. This may change in late June, but I am more than happy to support your scheduling needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely and maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment. I stick to the pet’s regular routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. I always prioritize safety, keep the space secure, and provide updates if requested to build trust and peace of mind. In my own home, I treat my two small dogs like family and give them lots of attention, structure, and love—and I bring that same care to every pet I look after.

“Anna was very sweet with my pup, Forrest and I enjoyed receiving photo updates. When Forrest was anxious one day during a 30 min. drop-in visit, Anna even offered to stay longer, which was appreciated!”

“Kelly arrived exactly on time with a notebook at our meet and greet, and repeated their complicated feeding instructions back to me to make sure she had understood everything. She gave me daily detailed reports and photos of my two kitties and I trusted her completely to have a spare key to my house while I was away. She was great and they loved her immediately too!!”

About: I love spending time with animals. I recently worked at a vet clinic and it was great because I got to pet dogs and cats all day. I’m excited to try being a pet sitter/walker and get to hang out with more animals. I currently have two dogs. One 6-year-old that I got as a puppy and one 13-year-old that I adopted last year. I also have a pet snake and lots of fish. Unfortunately, I don’t have a cat because my dad is allergic, but I love spending time with my cousin‘s cat named skittles. Last summer I did an animal behavior internship UC Davis and learned quite a bit about animal training. I’m excited to try applying what I learned while working for Rover. I’m free weekdays anytime after I get out of class at 3:30. On Mondays I get out at 11:30 so I have a bit more time in the afternoons. I don’t have anything scheduled regularly on weekends, so I’m usually free unless I make plans with my friends or family beforehand. I’m willing to do walks and drop in visits. Walks can be as long as you’d like and since I have a car, I could even take your pet to a park with your approval. For drop ins, I could do anything you needed whether it’s enrichment, feeding, training, cleaning up after your pet, or even just keeping them company. If there is anything else you need that I didn’t mention, feel free to ask!

I am available for dog walking in the mornings and evenings, and I have full availability three days a week. Your pet's safety is my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions and routines to keep things consistent. I stay alert during walks and visits, monitor behavior closely, and make sure your dog is always in a safe environment.
“Lori was wonderful! She is super communicative and flexible. I felt immediately my cat was in good hands. He has stomach cancer and takes a regiment of medications and Lori picked it up so fast. I would definitely recommend and rebook Lori the next time. Thank you!!”

“Namie was lovely to work with and very communicative during her check-in with my 2 big girls! They felt comfortable with Namie right away, which was a huge relief as a first-time Rover user. She left us multiple pictures, and we would definitely book with her again!”

About: Hello! I grew up on a farm and have felt a connection with animals since I was little. Living amongst various animals honed my intuition to naturally sync with them and their needs— a trait that has carried over as I began to care for dogs . I bring a holistic approach to my stay with your furry friend, and I also have experience with rescues. Around 6 years ago, I began dog sitting more consistently— and I’ve loved meeting the different personalities of man’s best friend. I’ll cuddle with your furry friend, and make them feel cherished and loved. I can’t wait to meet your little (or big) love! **Please Note When Booking: two night minimum stay**. Boarding is in Glendale, 91205. I live in a cute cottage guesthouse with a shared yard to the main house. For ease and reassurance, dogs who board must be good with small children. I work remotely so pet care fits easily into my day. I start the morning with the pups routine so he feels safe, happy and comfortable I adjust a pups care based on the info and requests from you, the owner! I’ve found that following their routine is helpful. I bring a grounding energy that our furry friends like. Animals tend to trust me pretty immediately, or with some time spent sitting with them.
“This was our first-time having Iyanna watch our fur babies. She was a pleasure to meet and very attentive to what each of them would need. She checked in with me whenever she had a question and provided pictures of each drop-in visit. I always know how well the visits went when I come back, and the fur babies are content. They were definitely content.”
“Brandi was so nice, extremely professional, and very communicative. She gave our kitty the attention he needed during our long weekend away. It was great to get pictures of him on Christmas morning and know he was doing ok on his own. Brandi put us at ease!!”

“Jessica took such great care of my 2 kitties while I was away for work during her drop-in visits! My cats are normally very shy but I was shocked to find out that they came out for Jessica. She sent me detailed visit summaries and pictures. She not only took care of all the chores of cleaning the litter boxes and checking on food and water, but she also spent time playing with the cats. Will definitely seek Jessica again next time I am out of town.”

“Kim is so great with our pup, 🐶 Kim brushed her out, walked her, played with her and even took care of our other creature pets like our gecko 🦎 birds and fish. Thank you Kim for dropping by our home.”

South Arroyo pet parents share their Rover experiences
If you're looking for someone to care for your cat like family, look no further!! You'll be lucky if you get to hire her. Big Rig (known affectionately as Iggy) is probably a lot like your cat. In other words, he's not just a cat—he's a furry little personality with opinions, routines, and a very specific standard of service. Kenya met all his demands. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat who clearly had not spent the weekend plotting my demise for abandonning him with a stranger. That's a huge success in cat-owner terms. From the moment I met Kenya for a "meet and greet," I knew Iggy was in caring and capable hands. Kenya immediately appreciated Iggy's quirks, respected his boundaries, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Knowing that Big Rig was safe, comfortable, and cared for allowed me to actually enjoy my trip instead of worrying about what kind of chaos a bored feline genius might be creating at home. Kind, reliable, thoughtful—I couldn't ask for a better person to look after Iggy. Five stars from me, and if Big Rig could write reviews himself, he'd probably give six.

Steven is great. He took excellent care of our big girl while we were out of town. He came over beforehand and made sure he knew everything he needed to. He sent photos and updates during every visit. He was friendly and trustworthy. We'll be requesting his services again and would highly recommend him!

Hannah was a wonderful sitter for both of our kitties while we were out of town for two weeks! She ensured we were up to speed on our cats and was super communicative all throughout the booking. Appreciated her flexibility on some last minute booking changes and would definitely be looking to rebook her in the near future 🙂

Mari is such a pleasant person to be around. She understood exactly what it takes to care for an older cat with health conditions like our Ziggy. I really appreciated the level of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and experience she brought, even with a long list of medications and feeding instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares deeply about both the animals and the people who love them.
