“Avery house and dog sat for us for almost 3 weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever been away from my dogs. I was very nervous to be leaving them behind for so long, but Avery’s professionalism and communication made it much easier than I was expecting. She sent daily updates and photos so I felt sure from the start that not only were the dogs being kept safe, but also that they were being given lots of love and affection. She followed all of our instructions for keeping up with their regular routines, and she had zero issues dealing with their sometimes naughty behavior. We came home to 2 very happy and healthy looking dogs, and our house was spotless. It was obvious she made an effort to clean thoroughly and leave all as it was before we left. “Kiyomi took such good care of our two dogs while our family was on vacation that we were able to truly enjoy our vacation without worrying about anything. Our lucky dogs got more walks than they get with us on a normal basis, and she even did some light training or reinforcement of training and games with them to keep their interest up. She sent batches pf photos daily with an update of what they did that day which our kids loved since they missed the dogs so much. And our dogs looked so happy and relaxed in the photos - I could tell they were very comfortable with Kiyomi. Would definitely rebook Kiyomi the next time we are out of town.”
About: Hi, we are Brooke and Ryan, a married couple and doggie care team. Like you, we adore dogs. There's nothing better than the love of these furry friends and family. From Brooke: In addition to growing up with dogs my whole life and caring for a couple of special pooches for extended times, I also was a mom for 9 years to Maggie, my beautiful cocker spaniel. Though we are not ready to adopt our own pup just yet, it is such a joy to have dogs around. Dog training has been a hobby of mine. I do not offer it as a service, but I do believe that dogs not only need, but appreciate, rules and boundaries. This is just to say that if you have a way of doing things for good behavior and manners, you can count on us to maintain consistency with your dog. I am the primary point person and caretaker of your pup. Ryan offers additional care, attention and coverage so your pup always has plenty. From Ryan: I also grew up with dogs and have had two special dogs in my life. Their unconditional love and joy inspires me. I live by the adage, "Be the person your dog thinks you are." Our apartment has a large living area and private patio - perfect for a dog up to about 50 lbs. This West Pasadena neighborhood is beautiful: wide tree-lined streets, sidewalks and lots of options for customizing walks. Please note: - there is a $15 add-on for dogs being picked up or dropped off before 8:00 AM or after 8:00 PM. Thank you for understanding. - Holiday rates apply We both currently work from home. Ryan generally does the morning walks and Brooke does the evening. We have a patio with a little yard for additional potty breaks unless the pup prefers to be on leash for those too. We have a ground floor apartment with a comfortable fenced in patio and a small yard. Dogs love it out there in warmer months to cool off on the concrete or lay in the sun.

Vicky and Erick are AMAZING. They are both wonderful, trustworthy people who truly have a gift with animals. My two dogs are…a lot, and I had never previously left them with any pet sitters outside of family members. Vicky and Erick immediately put my mind at ease and it was a huge relief to know my dogs were in such good hands. Both times I have booked them to stay at my home and, not only did they take good care of my dogs, I returned to find that my house was cleaner than when I left! I would enthusiastically and unreservedly recommend Vicky and Erick to anyone.
Mari took care of our 13 year old corgi for 2 weeks who has arthritis and Addison’s disease. She did a wonderful job managing her medicines, bringing daisy on her daily walks and sending pics and updates every day. We would gladly have her care for our sweet girl again.
Anne seems like part of the family now and our dog Oliver thinks so, too. Anne has been so good with Oliver that he is obviously missing her, checking in the guest room to see if she is there. Anne does a wonderful job caring for our dog and keeping an eye on things at our house. I would recommend Anne without hesitation.
Elizabeth was a great pet sitter during my 5-day trip to Puerto Rico. She took EXCELLENT care of my two cats while I was away. Communication was great, followed instructions extremely well, and ran into 0 issues while I was away. Not to mention, the house was nice and clean just like I left it. We could not have asked for a better cat sitter. Mike was so communicative and sent us photos every day. We were so worried our girls would hide every day and within the first few hours he had them out and eating. Really put our minds at ease and know they were well taken care of.
Lanaye is an absolute joy! We are so happy we found her, you can tell right away that she is a warm, welcoming, and a very caring person. My husband and I had to take a last-minute family trip for 10 days, which is not something we do often, and Lanaye came thru for us with zero hesitation and less than 2 weeks notice! Our 2 big dogs can be the suspicious type, but they were immediately excited about Lanaye, which was such a HUGE peace of mind for us. Our nerves about leaving them for so long quickly melted away, and we got so many pictures and updates that we knew our girls were in the best hands and getting so much love. We cannot recommend Lanaye enough, she was an absolute life saver and we will definitely be booking with her again. THANK YOU LANAYE <3
We are so grateful for Hannah! We were very nervous about traveling since our 19 year old cat’s special needs had grown but Hannah did everything to keep him happy and comfortable. She followed our extensive instructions and was so patient with our boy, especially throughout the night when his dementia starts to kick in. She kept our other more timid cat happy too, and we are just so happy to have found her. Will definitely be booking again!
William was spectacular! I felt very safe leaving my cat, Omi, in his care. He also spent the nights with her so she wasn't alone, which I greatly appreciated. He left my place looking exactly how I left it. He sent pictures and updates throughout the week he was watching her. Would absolutely book with him again!
Murphy helped take care of our new puppy on short notice; he was punctual, reliable and so attentive to our fur baby. He sent regular pictures and videos along with updates on what she did throughout the day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Avery was absolutely wonderful with Max, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He took such thoughtful care of him while we were away — taking him on walks and hikes, playing his favorite game of fetch, and making sure he got plenty of attention and activity. What I appreciated most was how attentive Avery was to Max emotionally. Every day, he sent us updates about how Max was doing, including his mood, how he was adjusting, and how he was eating. Being away from Max for an extended period, those little details meant so much to us and really gave us peace of mind. Avery also went above and beyond by cleaning up our house before he left, which was such a thoughtful surprise to come home to. It was very clear that Avery genuinely cared about Max and took the time to understand his personality and make him feel comfortable and loved. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog.
