“Congratulations! You’ve found the best Dog Sitter one could possibly ask for! Victoria was absolutely hands down incredible. She kept us up to date regarding our pup, and also was so incredibly respectful of our home. Already have her booked for another night out that we need help for. If you’re looking for your next pet/house sitter, look no more. You’ve found your person! Thanks Victoria!!!”

“Laura was great with our girls and our home! Laura was very communicative and sent tons of photos. Both our dog and cat appeared very well taken care of and spoiled during her stay ◡̈”

“Sonia was great. She had a very calm energy and our 2 dogs liked her. One of our dogs had an issue while we were gone and she let us know right away so that we could check with the vet.”

“Natalia is great! I highly recommend her. She sent us pictures throughout the night. I known the minute my dog went up to her at the meet and greet, that we were in good hands.”

“Highly recommend Krista. She sent photos and updates throughout the day. She is very responsive and answered all my messages thoughtfully. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will for sure call her back :)”

“First time having a new sitter take care of my pups in a very long time and we got so lucky with Kathleen! She took great care of both my dogs, administered meds, and provided regular updates that helped me also enjoy my time off. Absolutely recommend!”

“Rique watched our three pups (one of whom is special needs) for 4days/3 nights. He was super responsive and great at sending updates. In addition to watching the pups, he remade our bed with fresh sheets (!) and left the house clean--a feat considering that our pups are on the larger side of medium (~50-80 lbs) and energetic. We will be using Rique whenever we have petsitting needs and highly recommend him.”

About: What makes me different is that I don’t treat pet sitting like a checklist. I pay attention to the small things routines, moods, habits and adjust how I care for each pet based on what they actually need. Whether it’s a high energy dog or a cat that prefers quiet company, I show up in a way that keeps them comfortable and keeps their world feeling familiar. I am available monday through friday at any time of the day right now. I am willing to work anytime just let me know when the best time fits your schedule. Taking care of pets at home is really about consistency, attention, and understanding what makes each one feel safe. Keeping a steady routine for feeding, fresh water, and cleaning their space helps them feel secure, while daily attention whether it’s walks and play for dogs or litter box care and short play sessions for cats keeps them healthy and happy. It’s also about noticing the small things, like changes in mood, appetite, or energy, because pets can’t tell you when something’s off. Most of all, it’s about showing up for them in a calm, reliable way so their everyday life feels stable and comfortable.
About: I've had dogs for over 20 years, and cats prior to that. I love animals and have been vegan for over 15 years. I had 4 dogs at one time and just recently lost my last one, my 17 year old poodle, Max. I've decided to hold off on getting another dog for now, but I miss having a dog in my life. I'm a single, professional woman living in Pasadena. I have 2 grown kids and 1 grandson. I'm excited to start meeting some new dogs and cats. I prefer to pet and house sit in your home, but may consider pet sitting in my own home on certain occasions. I work full-time as an accountant in my own home in Pasadena. Therefore, I have great flexibility with scheduling. I travel for work on occasion. I am a very conscientious person and will take excellent care of your pets. I love dogs and I am a very hands-on caregiver. I love walking them, snuggling with them, playing with them, and just spending time with them. I had cats as a teenager, and grew up around them, so I am also very comfortable with cats. I am an experienced homeowner, so I will take very good care of your home while you're away.
“Amanda was so great! She updated me with pictures and updates all weekend. Our dog is a senior and has some health issues and we don’t like to leave her with just anyone. We will definitely rebook with Amanda! 😊”

“Courtney did a fabulous job looking after our dog and house sitting while we were away. She kept him on his food and exercise schedule and gave us peace of mind - knowing that our dog was in great care while we were away.”

“Nataly helped us out at the last minute and was wonderful with the dogs! She is a great communicator and sent us multiple photos throughout her stay, house was very clean and dogs were napping when we came home. We hope she'll be able to help us out again in the future. Thanks Nataly!”

“Hannah was great. She kept me updated, cats were happy when o returned and she left my apartment in great shape. Was wonderful knowing my fur babies were happy and my apartment was well taken care of when I was away.”

About: I’ve cared for cats through drop-in visits and overnight stays, making sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved while their owners are away. I’m a therapist full-time, which means I’m calm, attentive, and very tuned in to behavior and routines. I’ve also fostered kittens and have a cat of my own, so I’m experienced with everything from playful young cats to shy or sensitive ones. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, medications, litter care, enrichment play, and giving plenty of affection. I work from home much of the week, which allows me flexibility and natural breaks throughout my day for drop-in visits or extended care. My schedule includes built-in gaps between sessions, so I’m able to provide attentive, unhurried visits and stick closely to your cat’s routine. Because I’m already accustomed to managing a structured schedule, I’m reliable, punctual, and communicative. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, and I’m intentional about only booking what I can thoughtfully and consistently handle. I prioritize a safe and calm environment for every pet I care for. In your home I follow your routines exactly, including feeding, playtime, litter cleaning, and any medication instructions, so your cat feels comfortable and secure. I always supervise interactions and make sure doors, windows, and other hazards are managed for safety. In my home I maintain a clean, quiet space where cats can relax, explore, or retreat as they wish. Having fostered kittens and being a cat owner myself, I understand how to read behavior, provide comfort, and create a stress-free environment that keeps pets happy and safe.
“Avery took excellent care of Greta while I was away. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos and videos to me! The house was exceptionally clean when I returned. I would love to have Avery keep Greta again in the future!”

“Jessica did a great job dog sitting for my 3 dogs. She kept their routine the same and made them comfortable while I was gone for a week. I appreciated her frequent updates and pictures.”

“Katherine is the best dog sitter, and trust me, it is better than you could have dreamt up. The communication is through, the rules are followed to a T, my apartment was better than I left it (sorry) and my dog was ecstatic to be with her. I will be booking Katherine as much as she can handle due to my work travel. Very appreciative dog dad!”

North East pet parents share their Rover experiences
I would highly recommend Laura for your pet sitting needs. We booked Laura to stay overnight in our home to care for our 4 dogs, one of them was a 9 week old puppy who needed lots of love and attention. Laura made it a priority to make sure our pups had all of her attention and love. She was fantastic with all the dogs and they loved her. She took them on walks, cuddled and slept with them, and provided us lots of pictures. She is very professional and respectful. We felt very comfortable having her in our home. We will definitely use her again!!

Neysa stayed with our two dogs and skittish cat. They were able to totally win over all our fur crew. Their excellent care meant that we could enjoy our vacation without concern for our family left behind. We will definitely be calling on Neysa again! They are amazing!!

Tamar was fantastic with my four-year-old husky. She has a husky herself so she understood the nuances. She was very attentive and stayed for long periods of time. She sent a lot of pictures and updates. The communication is superb and follow up was really appreciated. Tamar was very respectful of my house, I definitely recommend using Tamar for housesitting.

another wonderful housesit with Celest! we needed someone to housesit for us on the afternoon and evening of our wedding reception and thankfully, Celest was able to! she was on time, responsive, and forth coming in all her communications with us and sent photos throughout the night. she has such great calm energy that Nebula really responds to. we returned home to a very happy dog and tidy house. we appreciate you, Celest! thanks again!

Was our first time using Chloe and she stayed 4 days with our fur baby! We were so happy with her and she spoiled him with daily walks, cuddles and playtime! She sent pictures of him and he always looked so happy with her. She went beyond what we asked and came home to a happy boy and a clean house. ( which wasn’t expected)

Kevin did a great job with taking care of my skittish cat! She was able to hide and do her own thing but Kevin made sure she was fed (with medication) and her litter box was taken care of. I appreciate that he even sent a picture of my cat while I was gone. She seemed perfectly fine after I came back.

Wendy is amazing! Last minute plans because of a death in the family had us searching for a sitter for our two recently rescued pups. Wendy promptly answered my inquiry and didn't bat an eye when we said that we were still learning about our new dogs. She jumped right in and made us feel comfortable about leaving for our memorial service out of state. Wendy has great communication, sends lot of pictures, and took great care of the dogs and our home. She is a prompt professional who takes each dog sitting opportunity seriously. I recommend Wendy for your dog sitting needs! Plus, she's just a friendly and caring person.

Victoria was wonderful with our two senior doggies. She was extremely patient despite their non-stop barking when she first arrived (my girl dog has separation anxiety and my boy doggo is just nervous in general). Victoria did all she could to comfort them and was soon curled up with my pup Lucy on the couch. We highly recommend Victoria!
