About: I’ve been dog-sitting for 3 years, and honestly, I just really love dogs! 🐶 I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, with most of my experience being with bigger dogs. I’ve looked after two Huskies at once, a Standard Poodle, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, and senior dogs. I grew up with a Lhasa Apso and was lucky enough to care for him myself during his senior years, so I understand how much extra patience, love, and attention older pups can need. I’m also very active and genuinely love going for walks. I average at least 10,000 steps a day, so if your dog loves a good walk, we’re probably going to be best friends! I’m very comfortable staying in other people’s homes and actually enjoy helping dogs stay in the environment they know and love. My goal is to keep your pup happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I’ll give them plenty of attention, exercise, cuddles, and, of course, lots of love! I work part time remotely with lots of flexibility and can bring my laptop anywhere. I don’t not have a partner or children so I can dedicated the proper time to looking after your pet! I will ensure that gates and doors are locked. The dog is on leash whenever we leave and to avoid other dogs and people if necessary. I will stick to your wishes on how you want your pet looked after.

I had a special situation with cats that had to be kept separated with a feeding schedule. Jasper was very accommodating and friendly. When I forgot to put out wet cat food for my one cats, they found the correct brand and gave them the mentioned amount and stored the rest in the fridge. I am so grateful they were able to assist with my mistake. I will use them again for sure.”

We have 2 middle aged dogs who've grown accustomed to having us around all the time during lockdown. Imagine our relief when we found Rique from Rover. Chemil is amazing! Communication was super easy, Chemil was great to chat with and easily understood and took on the dogs’ daytime routine, and we really appreciated the frequent photo updates! We came home from our day trip to two very happy and well taken care of pups. I highly recommend Chemil for sitting!
Kathleen is amazing! She was great with our dog Muncy while we were traveling. She also handled an unexpected and scary electrical issue at our house very promptly and responsibly. She kept great regular communication and sent some really cute photos of our pup that made our stay away stress-free!
Laura was a fantastic sitter for our flat-coat retriever Piper. She sent us daily photos of Piper on a walk or enjoying her play time, and was always prompt in responding to inquiries. Lanaye took wonderful care of our senior dog! She was reliable, patient, and gentle, keeping us updated on every potty break. Whether our dog needed a diaper or a bedding change, she was completely on top of it. It especially warmed my heart to come home to a sleeping, snoring pup which speaks volumes about how comfortable our fur baby felt. It is clear that Lanaye truly loves dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone with an older pet who needs extra TLC!
Alexis is fantastic! My dog can be scared of new people, and Alexis was respectful of this and made her feel comfortable very quickly. She sent plenty of updates and also took super good care of my house while I was gone. Will definitely be asking Alexis to hang with my puppy again!
As always, Mike took amazing care of our elder dog Murphy. We received daily updates with photos and could tell Murphy was content and happy hanging out with Mike. Mike left the place tidy and in good order, a warm welcome for us after a long trip. I would trust Mike with any pet, he will care for them like his own!
Shelby obviously has a ton of experience taking great care of both cats and dogs. She made herself available within 3 days notice and was very knowledgeable, kind and caring. She even sent me photos of my fur babies during the day. I highly recommend Shelby for dog walks and pet sitting. I will definitely tap on her again.
Mari took care of our 13 year old corgi for 2 weeks who has arthritis and Addison’s disease. She did a wonderful job managing her medicines, bringing daisy on her daily walks and sending pics and updates every day. We would gladly have her care for our sweet girl again.
Jess makes traveling so much easier for us because we know our boys are home, happy, and loved. They're so excited to see her that they barely notice we're leaving, and when we get home, they're like, "were you gone?" which is exactly what I want - doggos who get to continue enjoying their normal lives even when we're not here. Kevin was absolutely amazing. I have multiple animals, and each one has their own personality, routines, and individual needs, so finding someone I genuinely trust with all of them isn't easy. Kevin was incredibly compassionate, patient, and attentive with every single one of them. I could tell he really took the time to understand each animal rather than just going through the motions of feeding and caring for them. He was also extremely respectful of my home and left everything clean and well cared for. Communication was great, he was dependable, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my animals and my home were in his hands while I was away. That peace of mind is honestly priceless when you have animals who require a little extra care and attention. It's very clear that Kevin genuinely cares about animals and takes the responsibility of caring for someone else's pets and home seriously. I came home to happy, well-cared-for animals and a home that had been treated with respect.
