What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Sophie will definitely be back soon. We even forgot a couple of things at their house and stopped by later, and Sophie was eager to go back inside to Ana and Mitchell’s home- showing just how comfortable she feels there.”

Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”

About: Update: I took 2 years off Rover due to moving to a new area and having a long commute to work. Now I live closer to work in Pasadena and am able to start providing care again :) Hi There! I've been caring for pets for almost my entire life. I've owned or cared for rabbits, lizards, frogs, fish, cats, birds, guinea pigs, horses, and my beloved two dogs! Being a high school science teacher, I have a lot of patience and animals are always better behaved than teenagers :-D I would love to get a chance to get to know your pet(s) and treat them just like I would my own! I had my own dogs for 15+ years (they recently passed due to old age/health conditions). I am especially well-versed in daily care for small dogs, but I am willing to learn and apply whatever is best for your pet. I am currently available for drop-in visits and walks. I am a high school teacher and on summer break so I am available pretty much any day/time at the moment, lots of scheduling flexibility. I take pet safety very seriously after having cared for my own two senior dogs. I always walk dogs on a leash regardless of the neighborhood/area for both their safety and mine. My dogs and any visiting dogs will never be left alone together in the same area (I have a large gated pen I can use to separate dogs when necessary). I always am very careful about following owner's instructions and will ask questions if I think I need assistance. I also send detailed Rover cards with information about everything that happened during your pet's stay/walk/drop-in.

About: I rescued my dog Gabbi 10 years ago, as she was surrendered from an overcrowded home. She is a 14 lb mixed breed who is the boss in this house. Since having her, I’ve dog sat for multiple friends, overnight, including a Samoyed, Pitbull, German Shepherd, and Rottweiler mix. My dog is around 13 years old and doesn’t enjoy playing with other dogs, but she’ll happily go on a long walk together! She also likes her personal space and can make it known, but she’s never had any major issues with other dogs. She resource guards, so I keep feeding time separate. I work from home full time M-F, between 9am-5pm. I have a generally flexible schedule, taking meetings throughout the day. I like to take the dogs out throughout my work day as a way to keep me awake! I live in a townhome style condo with a small fenced patio. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to take the dogs out. I will happily adopt your dog’s usual schedule to keep them as regulated as possible.

David and Aisa each have 20+ years of experience caring for animals of all ages and sizes! We are the go-to couple for our family, friends, and loved ones’ pets, from Great Danes to kittens to reptiles to hamsters. We are experienced in walking, bathing, playing, special needs, administering medication, and anything else you may need from us. We also have experience caring for puppies and kittens, and will happily help with potty training, leash training, and obedience training. 🧸 We look forward to working with you!! Aisa and David both have flexible work/school schedules — so we are available throughout the day, and often during traditional work hours. It is possible that only one of us will be present for your booking, and we are always sure to communicate if that is the case! 😊 **Note — In the case that both Aisa and David are busy with work, for boarding and daycare specifically, we do best with pets that are able to be left alone for at least 2 hours. Our apartment is a great space for cats, especially those that will do well with our own kitty. In your home, we are happy to complete any requested services, from crating to medication to anything in between. We are also able to take care of any household chores (ex. trash, alarms, etc).

About: Hello! I have grown-up with dogs all my life. I currently have two adorable babies Charles and Tika (1year old siblings) who I love to pieces. Aside from my job as a nanny, I have dog sat more times than I can count and take my bosses dogs to the dog park 3 times a week for exercise and playtime! I have taken care of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and enjoy going to the dog park or walking around the neighborhood! It brings me so much joy and happiness into my life! I am a nanny and have been with the same family for over 16 years. I took care of three children but now I only have the youngest left. He is in school during the day and I am free from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays I am off. I have 6 hours free everyday to be able to take your fur baby/babies for some fun in the sun, exercise, explore, or fresh air! I safely transport my bosses dogs to and from home to the dog park. All dogs are on a leash until we arrive. Once we are there I play ball or walk around with them and always have my attention to make sure they are safe from any aggressive dogs or anything on the floor that they might want to eat. I bring my two little yorkie mixes with me for company and playtime with the other dogs. I carry wipes, poop bags, water, and hand sanitizer at all times because it comes in handy on a daily basis!

Neighborhood is perfect for dog walks and her home is very lovely and welcoming for anyone who want to leave their pet there in good hands. Unfortunately my dog has severe separation anxiety and she just wasn’t appreciating it and I do feel bad Albane and her husband had to go through with her barking for so long. They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. I would definitely have her stay again if her anxiety didn’t make it difficult for those watching. I still recommend to anyone considering.”

About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

Last minute service requests will not be accepted, and I will also not respond to text or call spamming through the app. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a stay request if this happens. Please be respectful to Rover’s sitters. I am used to working with dogs of all ages and sizes; I currently own a mischievous dachshund mix and a year old tabby cat. Past care and house sitting experience includes: monitoring the dog/cat's overall health and administering any medication, replenishing food and water accordingly, going out for walks, having playtime, and cleaning messes (if any were made in the house or outside). Depending on the age and physical condition of the dog, I'm comfortable walking or running on any terrain with it. I can also work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. In emergency situations involving the client's dog, I will contact the client immediately, as well as the closest vet clinic. Please let me know in advance if your pet suffers any serious conditions, such as arthritis, epilepsy, heart/kidney issues, etc., and I will help them accordingly. As or right now, I work from home. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. I have experience crating dogs, and will keep certain rooms off limits per owner’s request. Please let me know if your dog isn’t allowed to go in a certain area of the backyard for any reason. I can work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. At this time, I work remotely, and won't leave pets alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. As a courtesy, I leave my own dog at home in the care of my roommates. She's still training to be socialized with other dogs. My schedule is flexible at this time. I have remote work, and can easily connect with my job as long as an internet is stable. I will stay with the pets overnight for long term stays, and drop in for at least an hour during the day as requested through booking. Safety is my top priority; names and numbers of close contacts (neighbors, relatives, friends, etc.) and vet clinic information are greatly appreciated. I do not distribute this information outside of my job out of respect for privacy. I currently work from home, and run 1-2 errands during the day. If your dog has special needs, i.e. medicine schedule, mobility issues, etc., let me know immediately and I will accommodate your pet as necessary. During overnight stays, I will be in the client’s home with the pets. This helps calm separation anxiety and ensures the home’s safety. For drop in visits, I will only stay up to an hour to walk the dog(s) and make sure they have food, water and medicine if need be.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was little! I’ve trained all my dogs with basic commands and often help friends with theirs. My dog is now a senior, so I understand the special care and patience older pets need as well My schedule is flexible since I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your dog or cat! I usually take dogs for walks around the neighborhood every 4 hours, but I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs. I treat every pet like my own! Whether they stay at my place or I care for them in their home, I make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and safe. “The best care of my dog (Mochi) during vacation. Mochi slept by himself in an individual room with his own blanket and food drink bowl. The house and backyard is clean and provide a lot of room for him to move around. He made friend with Eric’s little dog. Mochi does not like to be with a lot other dogs. Eric’s place is perfect for him. Eric walked him everyday and send video to us everyday. Price is very reasonable. We will surely use Eric’s service next time if he has slot for Mochi.”

Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
