What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. “I have a Great Dane who is very reactive to people and moving objects. I needed a walker in an emergency and contacted rover and choose Julien to walk him 2 times a day. I was worried at first however after our meet and greet I felt confident with my choice. Julien was perfect! He handled my precious dog with ease and confidence. Even when my dog did a few naughty things in my house he kindly took action and handled the problem as well as notified me and help correct the issue. About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

About: Ive grown up with kitties, bunnies, & pups in the family since childhood. Had the honor of guiding many pets from puppy to senior over the years. Recently lost my senior baby and looking to spoil someone elses pups with lots of love and treats♥️ I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays so Im available all day and can be available into the weekend for long stays if need be. Please be respectful to Rover’s sitters. I am used to working with dogs of all ages and sizes; I currently own a mischievous dachshund mix and a year old tabby cat. Past care and house sitting experience includes: monitoring the dog/cat's overall health and administering any medication, replenishing food and water accordingly, going out for walks, having playtime, and cleaning messes (if any were made in the house or outside). Depending on the age and physical condition of the dog, I'm comfortable walking or running on any terrain with it. I can also work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. In emergency situations involving the client's dog, I will contact the client immediately, as well as the closest vet clinic. Please let me know in advance if your pet suffers any serious conditions, such as arthritis, epilepsy, heart/kidney issues, etc., and I will help them accordingly. As or right now, I work from home. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. I have experience crating dogs, and will keep certain rooms off limits per owner’s request. Please let me know if your dog isn’t allowed to go in a certain area of the backyard for any reason. I can work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. At this time, I work remotely, and won't leave pets alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. As a courtesy, I leave my own dog at home in the care of my roommates. She's still training to be socialized with other dogs. My schedule is flexible at this time. I have remote work, and can easily connect with my job as long as an internet is stable. I will stay with the pets overnight for long term stays, and drop in for at least an hour during the day as requested through booking. Safety is my top priority; names and numbers of close contacts (neighbors, relatives, friends, etc.) and vet clinic information are greatly appreciated. I do not distribute this information outside of my job out of respect for privacy. I currently work from home, and run 1-2 errands during the day. If your dog has special needs, i.e. medicine schedule, mobility issues, etc., let me know immediately and I will accommodate your pet as necessary. During overnight stays, I will be in the client’s home with the pets. This helps calm separation anxiety and ensures the home’s safety. For drop in visits, I will only stay up to an hour to walk the dog(s) and make sure they have food, water and medicine if need be.

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”

Ziggy usually takes a little while to warm up in a new environment and people, but she felt right at home almost immediately during the meet up it was obvious she felt safe and happy. “Rique was AMAZING to Moo! Moo (being a senior) isn't a fan of staying at other places, but with Rique, it was different! Overall positive experience. Rique provided updates (w/ adorable pics) twice a day which put my mind at ease. Knowing Moo's a senior, Rique gave extra care+attention, sticking to the prescribed medication+food directions provided. I feel like I finally have a place for Moo to stay overnight comfortably when I'm out of town which is a huge win! Looking forward to rebook with Rique again :)”
