“We needed to find a pet sitter for our dog, Pepi, for a month, a long time to be away. Pepi is a small terrier rescue who can be timid and has particular eating habits. She’s very calm and needs a low key environment. We spent much time reviewing sitters seeking a place where Pepi could live a similar lifestyle as she does at home. So lucky, we found Joyce! She has two small sweet dogs. After we met, I felt confident that Pepi would be in good hands along with good doggy company. During our trip, we received photos and videos daily, many times twice a day. I could see Pepi was happy and enjoyed the company of her two lovely dogs. The photos showed walks, Pepi eating well while enjoying the doggie company. She made friends. I could tell Pepi was happy and I made the right choice. I highly recommend Joyce. She provided excellent care. She shopped for additional food for Pepi’s diet and let me know she was doing well. When planning the next time away, I would not hesitate arranging my schedule first to be sure Joyce would be available to care for Pepi. About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.
