About: I manage a puppy yoga company so I have tons of experience with young dogs. I have also been a dog sitter for adult and senior dogs for 10 years. I am CPR & First Aid certified for dogs & puppies! I am a professional dancer; auditioning and taking classes is my current schedule. I’m home for the good majority of every day and I love to go for long walks. I have no other pets; I live in a safe area and a building with many other dogs. My building has elevators, so there is easy access outside!
“I'm a very happy repeat client of April's! She's great with my cat and always sends super cute pictures. I can always trust that my kitty will be well taken care of while I'm away. :)”

“Priscilla did a wonderful job taking care of our cat when our original Rover sitter had to cancel at the last minute due to an emergency. She sent great updates and photos daily. I highly recommend Priscilla for your pet sitting needs and would hire her again!”

“This is my second time booking with Charmaine and she is awesome about keeping me updated on how my fur baby is doing. I will definitely be working with her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. I grew up with a German Shepherd who I helped care for from puppyhood until she passed when I was 18, giving me years of experience with walks, feeding, exercise, and lots of love. My mom prioritized cleanliness so I also know how to keep your dog and space clean. More recently, I’ve cared for a friend’s young Aussiedoodle on five separate occasions, including overnight stays, which gave me experience handling a high-energy dog with a consistent routine and plenty of attention needs. Whether your dog is young or old, my goal is always to provide reliable, attentive care and make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m available on Fridays before 9am and after 4pm (can be flexible in between also) and on weekends I’m pretty flexible for multiple visits / walks per day. I am great at following directions and will respect any wishes you have for your home and pet. I am very conscious that I am caring for a loved one and will be very careful and safe during my time with your pet.

About: I regularly volunteer with cats at Kitten Rescue and Pasadena Petco, and have experience administering care, food and medicine to cats with disabilities and senior cats. I’ve been a lifelong cat lover and currently care for my own cat, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention while you’re away. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers a quieter approach, I’ll work at their pace and make sure they receive the care, attention, fresh food and water, litter box maintenance, and companionship they need. My goal is to help your cat feel comfortable and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that trust is the most important part of pet care. Available Monday through Friday for drop-in visits between 5 PM - 10 PM; M, W, Fri from 6:30 AM - 8 AM; 12-1 PM; 5-10 PM; Flexible schedule on M, W, FRI due to working from home. Available Saturday and Sunday all day for drop-in visits and house sitting. I like stocking my cat’s environment with blankets, beds and toys and offer lots of love and cuddling. I will follow my client’s instructions and preferences to keep their cat comfy and happy.
“It was my first time booking with Alicia and using Rover, and was a wonderful sitter! She was on time and followed instructions thoroughly! She was great with my 2 kittens and played with them lots. Alicia also asked for feedback after the visit, which I really appreciated. Looking forward to booking her again next time!”

“Julien looked after my dog Dexter for about a week. This is the first time I have used Rover so I was a little hesitant but Julien was outstanding! Julien followed my requests perfectly and regularly communicated (with photos) regarding Dexter’s progress. I really felt Dexter was happy and well cared for with Julien. Moving forward Julien will be my “go to” for Dexter.”

“My pup hasn’t really had an appetite but Sophia was able to get him to eat based all my detailed instructions. I really appreciate her help, she’s always ready and reliable.”

About: Hi! I'm Harue, and I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Getting to know each animal's unique personality is one of my favorite parts of pet sitting! 🐶🐱❤️ I've cared for dogs, cats, parakeets, hamsters, and reptiles, and I love spending time with animals of all kinds. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or prefers quiet company, I'm happy to meet them where they’re at. About: As a mental health therapist/caregiver I have cared for loved ones, their homes, and their pets during difficult times in addition to my own pets. That being said, I truly adore not only maintaining my home but caring for someone else's home equally the same with respect. I am very organized, attention to details is a must, and structured. I also believe in going with the flow when necessary, I am very adaptable to change in new environments! I owned a Persian cat and miniature cocker spaniel for several years while in college along with a fish tank. I also co-parented a German Shepherd. I truly love and adore and miss the pets that I have owned and excited to share the love with meeting new pets and caring for them. So it's a Natural Instinct on the tasks that come with taking care of them and their needs. I am the perfect fit for your home because of everything that I represent (honest, loving, open-minded, well-rounded person). I have always loved animals and have grown up with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, horse riding, and rabbits since I was a little girl! Recently, I have decided to take on house sitting for Pets because I miss caring and nurturing Animals. Pets are healing, loving, and provide a well rounded life when you care for them like family! Because I travel so much, I am very concerned about getting a pet again right now and having to board the pet or have trouble with them traveling with me so this will give me an opportunity to care for pets since I truly adore them. I work remotely so I'm able to care for your sweet pets in your home while giving them the love & attention they're used to getting while you're there! Greetings my name is Kenisha/Kay! I'd love the care for adorable pet(s). You'll be able to enjoy your travels knowing that your fur babies are well taken care of a long with your home (I will watch it like a hawk! :). I am a caring, mature person who loves exploring via pet sitting. I've been house sitting through several Housesitting platforms for over a year & would love to add you to my list of satisfied families! You will see my personal references from individuals in my life that I have pet sit for or aided in their day to day for your comfort. While House sitting, I will keep your pets are entertained, feed them meals/treats promptly, and they will be my priority while I am there! I would love to talk with you more about house sitting and taking care of your precious pets. Please take a look at my profile and feel free to reply to this message to set up a call or chat with me! Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you regarding this exciting opportunity to be your pet and house sitter! Sincerely, Kenisha

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pasadena
I spent a long time looking for the perfect rover cat sitter, and Kelly is it! She played with them, and I could tell they were less bored while I was away. She was reliable and put my mind at ease. I loved all the pictures and appreciate all the attention and kindness she gave my two kitties. Thank you, Kelly!!

Aline went above and beyond to take care of my kitty! She took care of him as if he were her own and she set my mind at ease since I was so anxious about leaving him. I was able to enjoy my trip because of her. I am truly grateful for the love and care she showed my kitten. Thank you, Aline!
Camille was very nice and communicative. We have very shy cats and this was their first visit with Camille. While they didn’t come out, it’s typical for them, and I think they will warm up to her quickly. She also let us know when we had a problem with some mail and was very helpful.

- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
