About: I have always had multiple cats since I was 10 years old and have 8 years of experience volunteering for cat and dog rescues! I currently have 6 cats and a husky/malamute mix, all rescues. Most recently, I fostered 2 husky/shepherd puppies and even puppy-proofed my yard for them to have more space to run around and play. In previous years, I have had a negative experience with having friends watch my pets, so I understand how important it is to find the right pet sitter. Pets are our children and should be treated as such. I would be honored to give your baby the best possible care and lots of love and attention! I am a full time dog and cat mom that works seasonally in entertainment, so my schedule is completely open for whatever you need! My dog gets 2 walks a day with potty breaks every 4 hours, even in the middle of the night. My cats receive a mix of dry and wet food twice a day with their water changed and litter scooped daily and plenty of cuddle time. I have a large fenced yard in a safe, suburban neighborhood for your dogs to play in. My home has multiple large rooms with cat trees and cat shelves that can be kept as a private oasis for your cat or cats if they are to stay with me.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Friends and family rely on me to feed, walk, and play with them. I enjoy training them tricks, and they enjoy cuddling, scratches, and rubs! I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.

Zihui is the best! Daily sitter for my 3 cats! I traveled out of the country for 7 days and I was so comfortable and at ease with Zihui coming over to my residence for daily drop ins. Zihui sent daily photos of my 3 cats; Her updates were very detailed with feeding schedules for each one and behavior patterns for each one. Zihui has a big heart for pets! I’m so grateful I found Lauriane to help with my pup! I was taking a really stressful exam for 3 days and not once did I feel worried leaving her to care for him. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
