About: I have taken care of dogs from 5 lbs up to 92 lbs. All dogs have big hearts! I currently have a senior special needs dog, so being attentive is natural. I will always ask for allergies or special needs your pet may have. I am currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am currently available 6 days a week. I have a senior dog that can provide company for your dog. Small or long walks are fine. I can also crate a dog, if needed.
“This is me and my husband’s first time using Rover and with 2 dogs who can be reactive and have high energy, we had some reservations about picking a walker. Lauriane was very sweet and understanding of our dogs’ little quirks and the did great with her during our meet and greet and first walk together. She provided so many photos/videos which we really appreciated!! 10/10 recommend.”

“Laura did an amazing job walking my dog Otis. She did daily walks for the entire week. She is very responsible and sends regular updates. Otis likes her a lot. Thank you, Laura!”

“Stephanie is great. She’s walked our new pup for us while we are at work. Always very responsive, leaves great pictures, and the Rover “report card” for walks is so cute! Just like daycare you know what your dog did while you were gone.”

“Thanks Christine for taking such great care of both Bowie and Nellie! They had a great time with your dog! I’m so happy we connected! You did a great job! Looking forward to the next time I need help with a Bowie!”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Having owned three dogs throughout my life and currently raising a pug, I’m experienced with the patience, attention, and care dogs need to feel comfortable and happy! Friends have trusted me to care for their pets and I take the responsibility seriously in understanding the importance of providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment while owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to their routines, comfort, and individual needs. My goal is to make both pets and their owners feel confident and at ease. Trust me and I’ll be sure to give your pet lots of love and care. ☺️ I’m currently working from home and already am caring for my own dog which makes it easy for me to care for yours! I can open my space for daycare until 6pm, walk your dogs in the morning and/or afternoon, or do drop in visits to check on your furry friend. I have a friendly pug to keep your furry baby company! I usually take him on walks around 7am, 12pm, and 5:30pm in which your pet will join along. My neighborhood is filled with other dog lovers and am close by to parks to do more scenic walks with your pet. My apartment is also big enough to crate or fence off if needed.

About: I have owned chickens, cats, parakeets, and dogs in the past. Pets are my life. My boy Kenny (a Goldendoodle), whom I recently got, I consider my son. Because of my PTA program, I'm only available during the mornings on Mon/Wed/Thu. On all other days, I have open availability to stay as long as your pets need! While I cannot take pets to my own home, I can take care of pets in other settings so long as the owner is comfortable and aware of where I am with their pet.
“Carlos was fantastic with our pup, who has some behavioral issues. He’s thoughtful and communicative, putting me at ease right away. Our high-energy pup came back tired, which is a minor miracle.”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets... I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, making it easy for me to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets. I have experience caring for dogs and understand how important it is to give each pet attention, exercise, patience, and love. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide the care they are used to while you’re away. I take pride in providing safe, loving, and reliable care for every pet. I will follow your instructions closely, keep your pet comfortable in their normal routine, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection. I also offer complimentary basic grooming services, including brushing and nail trims, to help your pet look and feel their best. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for while they are with me.

“My dog loves Kira! I scheduled walks with her for a week when I was injured and couldn’t take my dog out as frequently. She was punctual, communicative, friendly and great with Alfie. I’ll definitely book her again.”

“April is incredible. Her calm demeanor made for an unbelievably easy introduction to our anxious and reactive dogs. I don’t worry at all about the dogs with April around. Her feedback is also thorough, and she rolls with whatever annoyingness the dogs throw her way.”

“Grace followed directions and was very polite and attentive while communicating. She was on time and handled my reactive boy very well! I would definitely recommend her and book her again!(:”

“Diana is amazing! We needed a last minute dog walker and Diana was there. My dog absolutely loves her and she went above and beyond to make sure he was walked and that his water was full, and she stuck to our routine. She is so friendly and good with our dog that we hope to keep her in our rotation. She's the best!”

Michelle was amazing with our Shelley, who isn’t usually eager to walk with someone who isn’t me or my husband. He began to look expectantly for her, tail wagging when he saw that she was near. Michelle and Jennifer are the best - completely reliable, loving toward your pet, and skilled in managing a dog in a caring way. They are more than we hoped for!!

Chloe is a professional dog sitter and she is amazing with the dogs! She followed all my instructions , was on time every walk and send me pictures twice a day. I asked her fed my dogs ( she takes care about both my pugs) and she did it perfectly. I strongly recommend her! Thank you, Chloe!

Joselyn really stepped up in a pinch. She was professional and so great with my puppy. When she discovered my puppy had found the bathroom TP and used it as a chew toy she took her time to clean it up! Completely unnecessary but much appreciated. Top notch! I’ve used her multiple times and always impressed! 👏

Katie is wonderful! She is so sweet, patient and gentle with our senior border collie. I can tell that he is loving his walks with her when I'm not home. She follows instructions very diligently and even picks up my mail off the floor! (without my request, very considerate!) I highly recommend Katie, she will treat your baby like her own.

Lexy is literally incredible. My parent has high standards for dog care, and Lexy goes above and beyond for us. She always makes sure to tell us about potential conflicts very early in advance, and she is very diligent with the specific tasks given to her. She even goes out of the way to help us with other things when they come up. She is very sociable and provides frequent updates. Literally couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
