Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule. I recently graduated from high school and am now on summer break, which gives me a lot of free time to dedicate to caring for pets. I’m also available for last-minute bookings or calls if needed, which I know can be very helpful for pet owners with busy or changing schedules. I usually spend my afternoons at the gym, so I am consistently available after 4 PM every day for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or overnight care. Outside of that, I have plenty of time and energy to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I enjoy staying active, so taking dogs on walks or spending time playing with energetic pets is something I genuinely enjoy. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to focus on being dependable, responsive, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs while making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

I enjoy the presence of animals and genuinely love caring for them. When I used to care for my aunt’s dog, I would come over every weekend to spend time with him, teach him tricks, feed him on a consistent schedule, and provide baths whenever instructed. I made sure he stayed active and healthy by taking him on three walks a day and letting him outside every two hours to use the restroom. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I also think it’s important to know things such as a pet’s personality, energy level, favorite activities, feeding schedule, allergies, bathroom routine, and anything that may make them anxious or uncomfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can create a positive and stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch includes plenty of attention, activity, and care to make sure they stay happy and comfortable throughout the day. I usually start by checking on their food and water, taking them outside for a walk or bathroom break, and making sure they get some energy out early on. Throughout the day, I enjoy spending time playing with pets and keeping them active. Depending on the dog’s personality and energy level, activities can include walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, teaching simple tricks, tug-of-war, or just spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable and not lonely. I also enjoy exercising, so I love being active alongside energetic dogs that enjoy longer walks or outdoor time. In addition to playtime and exercise, I make sure pets stay on their normal routine by following feeding schedules, giving them bathroom breaks regularly, and making sure they always feel safe and cared for. I also enjoy giving pets attention and affection because I know companionship is just as important as physical activity. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and stress-free environment where pets can feel relaxed, entertained, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I have been friend with Richard since elementary school and throughout the entire time me knowing him, he has never gotten into any trouble of any sorts. I would describe him as a caring and diligent person, being able to manage his extracurricular activities in track and field as well as maintain good grades in the classes he takes.
