About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

About: I live in Arcadia and have been in need of more things to do! I am a work from home dog mommy that’s had a dog to take care of ever since I was 10! I currently have a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd/maltipoo and while I do walk my dogs twice a day, I’m looking to walk more! I’m super flexible with my schedule as I work from home and any time. I can always work around you. I am also free on the weekends too! Weekly schedules are fine with me as well. I currently have 1 dog in my household and I take him out on 2 20-30 minute walks a day. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s routine and needs. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I follow all owner instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, and any special care requirements. I also keep the environment clean and safe by cleaning up after pets, monitoring their behavior for any signs of illness or stress, and ensuring they are comfortable and secure at all times. I understand that every pet is different so I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and routines to help them feel relaxed while their owner is away. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I offer dedicated, private boarding in Pasadena with a strict one-family-at-a-time policy. Your dog will receive personalized, high-attention care in a calm home environment, without ever having to compete with pets from multiple unfamiliar households. I have loved and cared for dogs since I was 6 years old. I also spent three years volunteering with the Walk Me Home Rescue group(as a volunteer and foster parent)—walking, socializing, and supporting rescue dogs across a wide range of breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. What You & Your Pup Can Expect: Attentive Supervision & 1-on-1 Focus: With my flexible schedule, your dog will never be left alone for long and will enjoy continuous attention, companionship, and customized routines. Friendly Playmate or Private Retreat: My sweet 5-year-old Border Collie loves having friends over to play. If your pup prefers quiet solo time, I can easily provide a separate, comfortable resting area alongside private walks and yard time. Secure Backyard Play: Supervised outdoor playtime, fresh air, and safe exercise in our secure yard. Daily Peace of Mind: High-quality daily photo and video updates showing meals, walks, and playtime so you always stay connected. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a social butterfly, or a senior who loves a peaceful routine, I treat every furry guest like my own. Feel free to message me with any questions—I look forward to meeting you and your pup at a Meet & Greet! I work part-time and am home for the vast majority of the day, giving me plenty of flexible time to give your pet constant attention and supervision. Our household has a fun, active routine: we let the dogs out into our yard every 2 to 3 hours for playtime, fetch, and frisbee. In addition to yard play, I take them on 1 to 2 dedicated neighborhood walks every day to ensure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your pup will be welcomed into a warm, pet-loving home where they are treated like family. Alongside my own friendly dog, I have a 14-year-old brother, who is passionate about animals and loves keeping pets company with calm companionship and playtime. We prioritize safety and comfort above all. Our home has a secure yard for safe outdoor fun, and pets are never left unattended during activities. Whether your dog thrives on interactive play or prefers a cozy, quiet spot to relax, we tailor our routine to their unique personality and keep you updated with regular photos and message.

About: Hi there! I’m Jing. I have loved dogs my entire life and have raised dogs since I was 12 years old. My husband and I are passionate dog lovers. We currently do not have personal pets at home. Over the past two years, I have cared for hundreds of boarding dogs, gaining extensive and professional hands‑on experience with all kinds of dog personalities and needs. I work from home full‑time. Except for occasional short outings of 1–2 hours, I stay home all day, so I can supervise and accompany your furry friend at all times.💕 I live in a safe, pet‑friendly house with a fully secured private backyard. The yard features 6‑foot tall double fences and solid walls, built to minimize escape risks and designed to deter coyotes from entering the property. The ground combines durable concrete flooring and soft artificial grass. The surface stays clean and mud‑free, so pups won’t track dirt indoors. The yard is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected three times daily: morning, noon, and evening. I take extra care to cool down the artificial grass during hot summer hours so pups can play comfortably. Your dogs can play freely and safely in an always‑fresh hygienic environment. Separated by an extra safety fence, we have a fully enclosed private swimming pool. The pool is only open during summer. With explicit owner approval, water‑loving dogs can enjoy fully supervised swimming and water play sessions.🐾 My Care Approach I am a patient, attentive, and loving in‑home dog sitter. I treat every visiting dog with careful, family‑style care.🐕 I accept friendly dogs under 40 lbs. I cannot accept dogs with aggressive behavior or severe anxiety issues. Multiple dogs may board at the same time. When hosting multi‑dog stays, I introduce dogs to each other one‑on‑one slowly and carefully. I separate quiet, calm dogs and high‑energy playful dogs into different activity areas, so every pup has its own comfortable space without stress. I provide a wide variety of interactive and puzzle toys. All toys are regularly washed, sanitized, and disinfected for safe, all‑day free play. Important Rules & Pre‑check Information • If your dog is unneutered or has marking behavior, please inform me in advance. Additional fees will apply. • All dogs must be fully vaccinated. • I provide daily snacks at noon and in the afternoon. Please notify me of any food allergies before check‑in. • Please inform me of any medication needs or special health requirements in advance. Daily Care Includes: • Multiple supervised outdoor play sessions in the fully fenced backyard • Customized activities based on each dog’s age, personality, and energy level • Full‑day companionship, gentle attention, and sufficient rest time Enrichment Equipment: • Snuffle mats for scent enrichment • Mental stimulation puzzle toys • Various interactive toys All play tools are strictly sanitized regularly. 🕒 Check‑in & Check‑out Time Policy My business hours are 7 AM – 9 PM. All drop‑offs and pick‑ups must be scheduled within this time frame. For stays longer than 24 hours, I offer a 2–3 hour grace period. Any overtime beyond the grace period will be charged additionally. 🏊 Summer Pool Supervision Pool access is seasonal and owner‑approved only. Water play is completely optional for the dog, and all water activities are closely supervised personally to ensure every dog’s safety. 🐾 About Crate Use I do not support long crating hours. I will never crate your dog without your permission. I prefer letting dogs move freely and comfortably in a secure home environment. If your dog is crate‑trained or needs a crate for rest and safety, I am happy to follow your instructions. 🏡 Cleanliness & Safety Safety and cleanliness are my top priorities. Both indoor areas and the backyard are cleaned and maintained daily to ensure a comfortable, pet‑safe environment. 🍓 Optional Add‑on Services (Extra Fee) Available upon advance request: • 🦷 Dental tartar cleaning & full dog bathing service • 🍗 Homemade fresh customized meals (based on your instructions, portion sizes, and allergy notes) ❤️ My Care Philosophy With rich experience caring for hundreds of dogs, I deeply understand every owner’s worry and trust. I will send regular photo updates to keep you posted on your pup’s well‑being. My only goal: To let every dog feel safe, happy, relaxed, and sincerely loved during their stay. Looking forward to meeting your lovely furry family members!🐾💕 🐶 A Typical Day in My Care Every pup in my home enjoys a warm, structured, and loving routine: 🌞 Morning – We kick off the day in the backyard! Pups get to stretch their legs, do their morning potty, and play around before enjoying a delicious breakfast. 🌤️ Midday – We head outside to the yard for a quick potty break and a little fun. Afterward, we spend most of the time indoors—relaxing in a cozy, air-conditioned room if it’s hot—so everyone can enjoy a peaceful midday nap. 🌿 Afternoon – After naptime, the pups can head back out to the yard to play, explore, or just relax. I’m always home, so your pup is never left alone and always receives plenty of love and attention. 🌆 Evening – Dinner time! For any picky eaters, I like to mix in a little shredded chicken or tasty toppers to encourage them to eat up. After dinner, they head back out to the yard for more play and relaxing family time. 🌙 Night – Right before bedtime, we go out to the yard one last time for a final potty break. Afterward, your pup can settle down for a calm, restful night, feeling completely safe and loved in their favorite cozy spot. 🏡 A Safe & Secure Home Away from Home Your pup’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. My home is a single-family house with a spacious backyard that features a double-gate system for extra peace of mind. Your furry friend can run and play in total safety, with zero risk of wandering off! Additionally, we have an in-ground pool surrounded by its own locked safety fence. The pool area stays securely locked at all times to ensure complete safety. However, if your pup is a water lover, I’m more than happy to unlock the gate and supervise some splash time with your permission! Indoors, our home is clean, quiet, and kept refreshingly cool with air conditioning on hot days. Because I am home full-time, your pup will never be left alone. Whether they are napping, playing in the yard, or enjoying cozy cuddle time, they’ll receive gentle, around-the-clock care. I treat every dog like family—balancing fun, structure, and endless love. With regular photo and video updates sent directly to you, you can relax with complete peace of mind knowing your pup is in a reliable, super secure, and loving environment. ❤️

About: I love dogs… of all kinds! That’s an understatement. My boy is Sailor, the Siberian Husky you see in my profile. The other two dogs—Bokee & Penny—are my friend’s dogs that I dog-sit for whenever I’m needed. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with any breed. Your furry friend will love hanging out with Auntie Tamara. I work for myself so I’ll have plenty of time for your fur babies. From feeding to walking to bathing to chilling, your pup and I will be the best of friends. In terms of my house, I have a yard with high walls so Sailor doesn’t even try to go anywhere unless it’s with me. When taking care of my friend’s dogs, they entrust me with their house key so I can come over and watch over the pups (even when they’re older, they’re always puppies in my eyes). When you ask me to dog-sit for you in your home, you can trust me to treat your space with the utmost respect. Same goes for the fur babies. They’re always in good hands with Auntie Tamara.

About: I am 20 and got my first pet at 5 years old! I love all animals. I am 13 years old in the picture of me and my pup. I have three doggies, I feed, bathe, and walk all three pups on a daily basis to ensure they are as strong and healthy as they can be. Because of my years of experience with my doggies I got recommended to family members to care for their pets when they are on vacation. I have been taking care of friends, family, and neighbors pets for the last 4 years. I love to stay active as I have been a competitive athlete for 17 years. I have a day job as a gymnastics coach and rock climb daily recreationally. Pet care and dog walking fit into my daily schedule in the morning or afternoon before my shift begins or after a morning climb. For dog walking I carry my own supplies in case of emergencies such as universal leash (approved my pet parent, bags, healthy natural treats(approved by pet parent), and water. I always walk or do a light jog at the pace the dog is comfortable with and make sure they feel safe.

About: As an experienced dog owner, I love working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. While I specialize in large breeds and high-energy working dogs who need confident handling and structured exercise, I am equally attentive, gentle, and patient with medium and small dogs. No matter the size, your pup is in safe, capable hands. As a flexible local professional, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Because I manage my own schedule, I am out and about in the LA area every day, making it easy to accommodate prompt drop-ins and structured walks when you need them most. My routine is highly active, which is perfect for high-energy working breeds that need consistent, timely mid-day exercise to break up their day. At the same time, my flexibility allows me to easily tailor my schedule for smaller or senior dogs who need dedicated, calm potty breaks and attention. Whether you need a regular weekly schedule or occasional check-ins, I build my days around ensuring your pets get consistent, reliable, and on-time care. When caring for your pets, my absolute priority is safety, structural consistency, and clear communication. For Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits: I tailor every visit to your dog's specific size, energy level, and temperament. For large or high-energy breeds, I focus on confident leash handling, maintaining their established training commands, and giving them a robust, engaging workout to burn off steam safely. For medium and smaller dogs, I adjust the pace to ensure a comfortable, stress-free stroll or focused playtime. For House Sitting (In Your Home): I respect your space entirely and keep your dog’s exact home routine intact to prevent any separation anxiety. I ensure they are fed on time, kept on their regular potty schedule, and given plenty of attention. You will receive regular check-ins and high-quality photo updates during every single service so you always have total peace of mind.

It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in East Pasadena. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
