Safety, trust & environment
Taking care of pets at home is really about consistency, attention, and understanding what makes each one feel safe. Keeping a steady routine for feeding, fresh water, and cleaning their space helps them feel secure, while daily attention whether it’s walks and play for dogs or litter box care and short play sessions for cats keeps them healthy and happy. It’s also about noticing the small things, like changes in mood, appetite, or energy, because pets can’t tell you when something’s off. Most of all, it’s about showing up for them in a calm, reliable way so their everyday life feels stable and comfortable.
Information victoria v. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog needs any accommodation or if there is any health issues I should know in advance please and thank you!
A typical day
I can take them on longer, sniff heavy walks where they get time to explore instead of just rushing around the block. Playtime can include games like fetch, tug of war, or hide and seek with treats to keep their mind engaged, not just their body. For higher energy dogs, you can do mini agility style play using park benches, cones, or even simple obstacles during walks. Some dogs love structured training sessions where you reinforce basic commands or teach simple tricks for mental stimulation. And for more relaxed dogs, it can be as simple as calm strolls, lounging together, or giving them enrichment toys like treat puzzles so they stay entertained while still feeling safe and settled.

Pet care experience
What makes me different is that I don’t treat pet sitting like a checklist. I pay attention to the small things routines, moods, habits and adjust how I care for each pet based on what they actually need. Whether it’s a high energy dog or a cat that prefers quiet company, I show up in a way that keeps them comfortable and keeps their world feeling familiar.
Reviews

Victoria is great with my senior border collie! I need a walker during the day when I'm at work and Victoria has been a life saver! She listens to direction, asks necessary questions and gives me a detailed report after the walk. I can tell that my big baby is happier with his walks while I'm away. I highly recommend her for your doggies!
Victoria is a responsible, caring person who loves animals. She is very calm with dogs and cats and any pet would receive the same love, care, patience and attention as she bestows on her own pets at home. Your pet would be very comfortable with her.
