What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: I have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I am able to provide care for all different ages, a good variety of breeds I am even able to care for dogs with various health concerns/medical needs. (Blind, allergies, deaf, post surgery, anxiety, etc.) I am very big on positive affirmations and reenforcing good behavior. I love training dogs! I think it can be a lot of fun. (Right now, I’m teaching sign language to both of my dogs. Our oldest is now deaf and has separation anxiety, so we’re working on basic commands.) I work in the mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and, Thursdays. Typically, my lessons run from 9-12. I teach swim lessons all year and set my own schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, that is big enough for the dogs to run around and play! We’re always outside during the warmer months. As long as they have a bowl of cold water, my dogs will stay outside until they choose to come in. In my home, there is a basement. It’s not very big, but it is a nice spot to retreat to. It’s a good space to relax in as there is little outside noise that gets in. (Our laundry room is in the basement. If we run the washer or the dryer during the 4th of July, you cant even hear the fireworks going off. This is a plus, for living with dogs).
About: My pets are anything but conventional. I have chickens, ducks, a tortoise, and a turkey. They all have names too! I have experience working with shelter dogs although I do not have a dog of my own. I am currently taking dog training classes at the Pasadena Humane. I also walk my family members' dogs so I know what to expect. Please be clear about your expectations/preferences. Although I don't own a cat or dog, I have experience with them. About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

About: I'm absolutely crazy about animals. I prefer them over the company of humans and will be that person playing with your pet at any gathering. I've had many cats my whole life (always a minimum of 2 at a time) and their temperaments have ranged from the hissing loner to the friendly ones that follow me on a walk around the neighbourhood. I co-raised a very un-loyal husky for 8 years (her loyalty lay with whoever had food) and also take care of friends and family's dogs whenever the situation arises. About: I have taken care of my dog for four years. In additional, I have helped a friend dog sit their dog for two month while they are on vacation. Have taken care of female dogs during heat. I will prioritize the pets’ routine during my day. Usually walk the dog in the morning around 8 and feed them breakfast. Then I will go about my day. I have a very flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time to play with the dog. In the afternoon I will take her on a second walk of the day and feed her dinner. Scheduled daily walks and meal time. I would play with them whenever I have a chance. Give them space to rest when it is needed.
