About: My jack russell terrier has been training me to take care of energetic dogs since I was 12 and I’ve even helped my neighbors with dog sitting for vacations, as well as many, many walks with all various types of dogs from puppies to elderly and little to big dogs 🫶🏻 Hoping to manage my pet care time with a high majority of my week to help pay for college over the summer! From morning walks to afternoon walks as well as house sitting, making sure the dog stays active while also receiving ALOT of love is my natural daily routine as a jack russell owner! The pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities and I’ll make sure to keep your home clean and secure while making sure your pet receives exercise, lotssss of affection, and its also important to me that ill keep the owner updated with little updates about how their best friend is doing!

About: Your furry friend is sure to be taken care of when they come to our home! With a family of children, there isn't a lack of the entertaining, special attention and love they will be given. My husband and I have been caring for the cats and dogs of our friends for years and are excited to have you consider us to watch after your fur baby! My schedule allows me to be home most of the day and will be available to watch after your fur baby throughout the day to give them walks, playtime, and potty breaks. Choosing the overnight boarding option? Our family winds down around 10 and are early risers, allowing us to give ample attention to your pet. I have a fenced yard and large area for the dogs to play! I have a pool that is gated off and can either let them near the water, or keep them away; whatever you prefer! I do not have any pets of my own and only book one dog at a time, allowing your dog to feel safe and not have to worry about territorial issues.

About: I have taken care of dogs from 5 lbs up to 92 lbs. All dogs have big hearts! I currently have a senior special needs dog, so being attentive is natural. I will always ask for allergies or special needs your pet may have. I am currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am currently available 6 days a week. I have a senior dog that can provide company for your dog. Small or long walks are fine. I can also crate a dog, if needed.

About: I have had and cared for dogs since childhood. I have experience with a wide spectrum of breeds, from the larger, more protective (German Shepherd), to the smaller, more energetic breeds (Corgi). I currently have a 13.5YO male Corgi, and have experience caring for senior dogs that require more attentive care (I recently laid my sweet girl to rest at 14.5YO, after a year-and-a-half long battle with kidney failure). In his prime, my little potato and his late sister were quite the herders, so I am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I have less experience with cats, but my empathetic approach allows me to always find common language with my furry friends. I currently work freelance from home, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your (and your fur baby’s) needs. Though, I might need to run errands during the day or take my elderly parents to doctor’s appointments. But I conduct most of my business in the San Gabriel Valley, rarely venturing over to the west side of town, so I am always nearby. My typical day with my senior, indoor corg includes going on a walk (or to the park) 1-2x daily, depending on his energy levels. I feed him 4 meals a day (versus 3) because he has a sensitive tum, and adding another meal later into the night ensures that he doesn’t wake up with an irritated stomach. I wash his food and water bowls daily with a mild soap to reduce exposure to harmful bacteria. When we go on walks, I make sure to give other people walking with dogs a wide berth, especially if they have a larger dog and are preoccupied looking at or talking on their phones. I always scan the ground for potentially harmful things careless people can leave behind, like chicken bones. I also allow my little guy to sniff to his heart’s content, because I read that for dogs, sniffing on walks provides enrichment akin to reading the daily paper.

About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

Please be respectful to Rover’s sitters. I am used to working with dogs of all ages and sizes; I currently own a mischievous dachshund mix and a year old tabby cat. Past care and house sitting experience includes: monitoring the dog/cat's overall health and administering any medication, replenishing food and water accordingly, going out for walks, having playtime, and cleaning messes (if any were made in the house or outside). Depending on the age and physical condition of the dog, I'm comfortable walking or running on any terrain with it. I can also work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. In emergency situations involving the client's dog, I will contact the client immediately, as well as the closest vet clinic. Please let me know in advance if your pet suffers any serious conditions, such as arthritis, epilepsy, heart/kidney issues, etc., and I will help them accordingly. As or right now, I work from home. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. I have experience crating dogs, and will keep certain rooms off limits per owner’s request. Please let me know if your dog isn’t allowed to go in a certain area of the backyard for any reason. I can work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. At this time, I work remotely, and won't leave pets alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. As a courtesy, I leave my own dog at home in the care of my roommates. She's still training to be socialized with other dogs. My schedule is flexible at this time. I have remote work, and can easily connect with my job as long as an internet is stable. I will stay with the pets overnight for long term stays, and drop in for at least an hour during the day as requested through booking. Safety is my top priority; names and numbers of close contacts (neighbors, relatives, friends, etc.) and vet clinic information are greatly appreciated. I do not distribute this information outside of my job out of respect for privacy. I currently work from home, and run 1-2 errands during the day. If your dog has special needs, i.e. medicine schedule, mobility issues, etc., let me know immediately and I will accommodate your pet as necessary. During overnight stays, I will be in the client’s home with the pets. This helps calm separation anxiety and ensures the home’s safety. For drop in visits, I will only stay up to an hour to walk the dog(s) and make sure they have food, water and medicine if need be.

About: I love dogs… of all kinds! That’s an understatement. My boy is Sailor, the Siberian Husky you see in my profile. The other two dogs—Bokee & Penny—are my friend’s dogs that I dog-sit for whenever I’m needed. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with any breed. Your furry friend will love hanging out with Auntie Tamara. I work for myself so I’ll have plenty of time for your fur babies. From feeding to walking to bathing to chilling, your pup and I will be the best of friends. In terms of my house, I have a yard with high walls so Sailor doesn’t even try to go anywhere unless it’s with me. When taking care of my friend’s dogs, they entrust me with their house key so I can come over and watch over the pups (even when they’re older, they’re always puppies in my eyes).
