About: Your furry friend is sure to be taken care of when they come to our home! With a family of children, there isn't a lack of the entertaining, special attention and love they will be given. My husband and I have been caring for the cats and dogs of our friends for years and are excited to have you consider us to watch after your fur baby! My schedule allows me to be home most of the day and will be available to watch after your fur baby throughout the day to give them walks, playtime, and potty breaks. Choosing the overnight boarding option? Our family winds down around 10 and are early risers, allowing us to give ample attention to your pet. I have a fenced yard and large area for the dogs to play! I have a pool that is gated off and can either let them near the water, or keep them away; whatever you prefer! I do not have any pets of my own and only book one dog at a time, allowing your dog to feel safe and not have to worry about territorial issues.
About: I’ve worked in a dog daycare services for the last 8 years. I cared for over 10 dogs or more in a previous daycare home. My duties were to care for all the pups, feed scheduled meals, give prescribed medications, maintain the yard, change dog diapers, and greet clients who were picking up of dropping off their dogs. As of now I dog sit for friends, family members, and for other clients who I have been referred to. I enjoy working with dogs and caring for them. I do have two of my own fur babies who are Lola and Pepper. Hello, I am on summer break from school and decided to start taking care of dogs or dog walking in my downtime which is primarily on the weekends. As of right now I do work M-F in healthcare. If I’m hired to dog sit for a few days I normally check in with owners to see what their dog or dogs routines are. It’s important for me to gather this information to better care for the dogs and to make sure that my client is satisfied with my work ethic. Another thing that I like to do before a dog sitting service is scheduled I prefer to do meet and greets to make sure that the clients and pets are comfortable with me. Every pet and owner is different and I just want to make sure that I’m able to meet their care requirements.
“Stephanie is great. She’s walked our new pup for us while we are at work. Always very responsive, leaves great pictures, and the Rover “report card” for walks is so cute! Just like daycare you know what your dog did while you were gone.”

“Jessica was extremely helpful to me and my dog while I recovered from an illness. Billie Jean is fairly shy and uncertain around new people, but Jessica handled her gently and I think they went for some nice walks. I'd definitely book with her again!”

“Andi took great care of our pup! Just after the Meet and Greet, our pup was clawed in the eye by a stray cat! Andi adjusted her plans, administered eye drops, and took the Cone of Shame off for walk time and back on afterwards. Thanks Andi!”

“Courtney had a great first walk with our Dutch shepherd Sergio. She was on time and able to get him leashed up easily. He responds really well to her calm demeanor.”

About: I connect deeply with animals and care about their well being. I am very reliable and always follow through with all my commitments, never late! I currently teach at an online school and have varying weekly schedules, but I am normally available for about 4 hours on the weekdays to walk dogs and more flexible to house sit and care for cats. About: *House Sitting (in your home) is my only availability at the moment! We can no longer take any bookings for boarding for the rest of the year. Thank you for your understanding!* Hello pet parents! Here’s a little bit about me: I’ve been dog sitting for the last 9 years, through Rover and personal friends. I grew up around dogs in my family and have really enjoyed learning to train and care for other pups. I feel that it’s almost an instant click with every furry friend that I’ve met so far ❤️ I work M-F from home at a tech company and having a friend around brightens every day! My partner and I love dogs but currently don’t own one. Working from home, I tend to have more time on my hands to help you take care of your pup so you can have an ease of mind while you’re away 😊 My mornings start bright and early around 8am. I would typically walk your dogs at that time to start off the day, then every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and another half hour walk at the end of the day. I understand that every pups’ schedule is different so I am flexible to cater to your dogs needs. For boarding- My apartment is very minimalistic which makes it pet safe. I never leave any open garbage or food scraps out so you do not to worry about your dogs getting into them. We also get ants if we ever leave any food out so we keep it extra clean. My place is about 1150 sq ft so there’s a bit of room to play! For home sitting- I will always make note of house rules and abide by them at all times (and make sure your dog is too!). You can trust me to keep the place neat and tidy, just the way you left it!

“Silvia was very sweet to my 2 dogs and sent me pictures of my girls on their walk. She left me detailed feedback of the walk and let me know she cleaned up and replenished their water before she left. I am very impressed with this experience and will definitely love to work with Silvia again!”
About: Hi everyone! My name is Lanaye, and I’m more than just a pet lover – I’m your pet’s new best friend. With 12 years of dedicated pet care experience, I understand the unique bond you share with your furry family members, and I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school, which means I spend a majority of my time at home studying — usually 10+ hours a day. Since I’m not currently working outside of school, I’m able to be home with your pets for most of the day with little to no time left alone. So if you have a Grade-A clinger, velcro dog, needy kitty, senior baby, or a pet that just loves having someone nearby, they’ll fit right in with me😂🤍. 🐶 For the Doggos: 🐶 I’ve spent countless hours walking, playing, and snuggling with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether your pup enjoys leisurely strolls, energetic fetch sessions, or just some extra belly rubs, I’m ready to provide the exercise, attention, and affection they crave. 🐱 For the Kitties: 🐱 Cats hold a special place in my heart, and I know every kitty has their own personality. Whether yours wants interactive play, quiet companionship, or to curl up next to me while I study, I’m happy to follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable. 🐹 For the Small Furries: 🐹 From guinea pigs to rabbits and hamsters, I’ve cared for a wide range of small pets. I make sure their living spaces stay clean, their feeding routines are followed, and they get the attention and interaction they need. 🏡 Home Sweet Home: 🏡 I understand that many pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own environment. That’s why I offer in-home pet sitting, so your pets can stay in the place they know best while still having plenty of company. Because of my online school schedule, I’m able to spend most of my day right there with them instead of coming and going for long stretches of time. 👩⚕️ Special Needs Care: 👩⚕️ Pets with special needs hold a special place in my heart. I’m experienced in administering medications, following dietary restrictions, and providing the extra patience, care, and attention that senior or ill pets may need. 🔑 Your Peace of Mind: 🔑 I’m big on communication and want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and little check-ins so you never have to wonder how your babies are doing. At the end of the day, I want your pets to feel like they gained a new friend while you were away. Their happiness, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities — and I’m more than happy to have a furry study buddy keeping me company along the way. 🐾🤍 I’m l currently in an hybrid nursing program, which means I spend a LOT of my time at home studying — usually 10+ hours a day. Since I’m not currently working outside of school, I’m able to be home with your pets for most of the day with little to no time left alone. So if you have a Grade-A clinger, velcro dog, needy kitty, senior baby, or a pet that just loves having someone nearby, they’ll fit right in with me. Chances are, they’ll become my little study buddy. 😂🤍 👷🏽♀️The safety of your pets is my utmost priority.👷🏽♀️ I maintain a watchful eye to prevent any potential hazards in and around your home, making sure your pets are in a secure environment at all times. 🧼A clean environment is essential🧼 for the health of your pets. “It was a really good experience working with Lanice. I am excited to work with her again. My puppies are very strong and can be difficult to control if you are not patient. Lanice was willing to take the time for Hazel bell and Zeus to get to know her and take instructions. I will definitely be booking her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Altadena
Courtney was a fantastic and caring dog sitter for our dog. She has a lot of great experience with dogs, including larger dogs which our dog is. She was very sweet with him and although we were away, my mother said that Fiddle came to be excited for her to come. Couldn’t recommend her more highly! I hope to rebook with her again soon.

I can see why Lijuan has so many great reviews. She is so sweet and communicative. My fiance and I got engagement photos done and Lijuan agreed to meet us at city hall last minute to walk coop and take him home so he could be in some of the photos at the beginning. She was so kind and flexible and she gave us a ton of photos and updates from the walk!

So glad we went with Khawinda after our last regular walker moved away. She was right on time and asked the right questions to help me feel at ease. My pup is super high energy and not the best on leash but I could tell right away she had experience with these special types. I can see on my doggy cam that he so excited when Khawinda's at the door. Reliable, communicative, and someone who genuinely enjoys animals instead of treating it like a quick gig. She even checked on our chickens for us. :) Thank you Khawinda!!

I’ve had a great experience with Samantha over the past two weeks and am still happily using her for my dog’s walks. She is incredibly accommodating with my schedule, quick to respond to messages, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciate how reliable she is and that she takes the time to wipe my dog’s paws after each walk. I plan to continue booking with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
