About: What Sets Me Apart Caring for animals has truly been a lifelong part of who I am. I’ve been caring for cats since I was 4 years old and dogs since my early teens. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
“Moon is an absolute blessing. I’ve had a few sitters in the past, but no one has ever made me (or my dog Bernie) feel as comfortable, supported, and cared for as she does. Her communication is exceptional — she sends thoughtful updates, photos, and check-ins throughout the day, so I always feel in the loop without ever having to ask. Bernie is high-energy and a little high-strung, and not once has Moon ever made him feel like he was “too much.” She welcomes his personality, plays with him, takes him on walks, and makes sure he gets plenty of outdoor time in her beautiful, spacious backyard. She introduced him to her dog, Ru, with so much intentionality, patience, and care — which set them up for a smooth, safe, and positive connection from day one. Her home feels warm, artistic, and full of good energy — which is very aligned with me as a creative. Bernie picked up on that immediately. He gets SO excited when he sees her, and honestly, that tells me everything I need to know. Bernie gravitates to Moon like she’s an extension of me — safe, loving, and deeply familiar to him. On top of all that, she treats Bernie like family. She pays attention to his food schedule, his quirks, his needs, and she checks in with me immediately if anything seems off. Her communication is flawless. She’s flexible with booking, great with pricing, and even offers pickup/drop-off when I need it. I cannot recommend Moon enough. She is warm, intuitive, attentive, and genuinely cares about the dogs in her home. Bernie and I are so grateful to have found her. If you’re looking for someone who brings both heart and professionalism to what they do, she’s the one.”

My schedule allows me to be home most of the day and will be available to watch after your fur baby throughout the day to give them walks, playtime, and potty breaks. Choosing the overnight boarding option? Our family winds down around 10 and are early risers, allowing us to give ample attention to your pet. I have a fenced yard and large area for the dogs to play! I have a pool that is gated off and can either let them near the water, or keep them away; whatever you prefer! I do not have any pets of my own and only book one dog at a time, allowing your dog to feel safe and not have to worry about territorial issues.

I would typically walk your dogs at that time to start off the day, then every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and another half hour walk at the end of the day. I understand that every pups’ schedule is different so I am flexible to cater to your dogs needs. For boarding- My apartment is very minimalistic which makes it pet safe. I never leave any open garbage or food scraps out so you do not to worry about your dogs getting into them. We also get ants if we ever leave any food out so we keep it extra clean. My place is about 1150 sq ft so there’s a bit of room to play! For home sitting- I will always make note of house rules and abide by them at all times (and make sure your dog is too!). You can trust me to keep the place neat and tidy, just the way you left it!

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”

“We love having Catherine, Albert, and Trace take care of Walter. They treat Walter like family and share all of their toys with him. We get regular updates and never have to ask them how Walter is doing. Their backyard is absolutely beautiful and dog friendly. They take our dog on strolls around town and play fetch regularly as if he is their own. I can’t say enough about how great they are and how comfortable we are leaving Walter with them. My husband especially loves the report cards Walter gets after his stay.”
“Henry was happy at Jane's resident. He got along well with her, her dog and family. Her husband gave Henry special attention at night because Henry did not want to be in a separate room at night so he slept in same room as Henry. Jane has a yard that Henry enjoyed with her dog. Jane and her husband were sweet and we did a meet and greet before drop off. Jane was able to take care of Henry's special diet restrictions. I would use Jane again:)”
“Steven was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. My wife and I always have family house/pet sit when we go out of town, so leaving them with a sitter had us a bit anxious. During the meet and greet, Steven immediately put us at ease with his kindhearted and soft nature which made us confident in his ability to provide excellent care. While we were gone, steven provided updates with pictures every day, and we could see that they were happy, relaxed, and enjoying thier time with him. Steven was also very accommodating as far as drop offs and pick ups. We absolutely plan on entrusting steven with our pups again in the future. Thank you, Steven!”

“Amazing experience! My 2 dogs stayed with Jianlei for a few nights and I would definitely book another stay for them in the future. With a park right next door, my dogs were able to take frequent potty breaks and walks. Jianlei was very responsive and sent pictures/updates in the morning and evening which definitely helped with my peace of mind, especially since I have a senior dog. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much!”
“Riggy was so excited to see Margaret again — her tail started wagging the moment we pulled up! She made new doggie friends, went on tons of walks, and came home happy, tired, and (of course) with another adorable toy she refuses to let out of her sight. Margaret is truly the most thoughtful sitter — she treats Riggy like family, keeps me updated with the cutest photos, and always goes above and beyond.
