About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. After a lot of patience and creating a safe environment for the two of them, my cat and dog are now besties! At the same time, they’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect :). About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

Felicia and her home are very welcoming and warm.. as soon as she opened the door she invited us in for a tour with no hesitation.. I felt like I was dropping my dog off at a reliable and trustworthy friends house not a stranger. (Her dog is very sweet and also welcoming.. the perfect host for a nervous dog like mine) I have to mention this again.. her house is beautiful! The inside is spacious and bright with really nice furniture.. and her big grassy backyard was perfect for my anxious and energetic dog. She also sent a bunch of pictures (I love when sitters do this ?) and was quick to respond to texts which I really appreciated. My dog was pooped and fell asleep on the ride home which means he had a really great time today. I highly recommend her!”

About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

Neighborhood is perfect for dog walks and her home is very lovely and welcoming for anyone who want to leave their pet there in good hands. Unfortunately my dog has severe separation anxiety and she just wasn’t appreciating it and I do feel bad Albane and her husband had to go through with her barking for so long. They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. I would definitely have her stay again if her anxiety didn’t make it difficult for those watching. I still recommend to anyone considering.”

“Rita was amazing! We haven’t felt so comfortable leaving our pup with someone in a while. Rita took such great care of our Archie and you can tell Rita loves animals and treats them like her own. We received updates everyday multiple times a day, which was so helpful and comforting for us to see our boy doing well throughout the day. I highly recommend Rita as a dog sitter!!
