“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.

About: I have a deep love for animals & was privileged to grow up with a dog that lived till 16!! I have had experience with both puppies & senior dogs! I will find any chance to pet a dog walking by & any excuse to spend time with any animal!! I am currently in university but I am free every day of the week after 1pm! My classes start at 11:30 so I need to go to a house to feed the pets or take them on a walk before 11:30 I can certainly do so! weekends are a bit more tricky but I can work around any schedule:) I currently don’t have any pets at home but I have a big front yard & backyard which are both gated, but regardless your pet will be under my supervision!!

About: Hello pet parents! Here’s a little bit about me: I’ve been dog sitting for the last 9 years, through Rover, long time clients and personal friends. I grew up around dogs in my family and have really enjoyed learning to train and care for other pups. I work from home at a health and wellness company and having a furry friend around definitely brightens every day! Working from home, I tend to have more time on my hands to help you take care of your pup so you can have an ease of mind while you’re away 😊 My mornings start bright and early around 8 am. Walks will usually happen by that time, or earlier / later depending on your dog’s needs. I don’t have many meetings throughout the day, so I have a lot of flexibility 😊 For boarding: My apartment is well kept and clean and I never leave any open garbage or food scraps out so you do not to worry about your dogs getting into them. My place is about 1150 sq ft (2 bedrooms) so there’s a bit of room to play! For home sitting: I will always make note of house rules and abide by them at all times (and make sure your dog is too!). You can trust me to keep the place neat and tidy, just the way you left it!

About: I’ve worked in a dog daycare services for the last 8 years. I cared for over 10 dogs or more in a previous daycare home. My duties were to care for all the pups, feed scheduled meals, give prescribed medications, maintain the yard, change dog diapers, and greet clients who were picking up of dropping off their dogs. About: Ive had dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, whether they chose us as strays or we chose them. Ive had white german Shepards, a black Labrador and a Staffordshire Terrier as of recent.
