She was kind with a very positive and honest vibe that convinced me she was the right choice for this 3 day stay. Her daughter is not only a dog lover but treated her dogs and Oxford gently and with love. Those are the important things that any dog sitter should have especially with small breeds. Without me even mentioning it, she knew that she would feed Oxford in a calm and dog free environment so he could eat without distractions. The knowledge of the little things like this is what make a good host that you would want again and again. Thank you for caring for my little trouble maker and yes, I would book them again.”

We’re grateful to have found Janice through Rover. We’ve never used this app before. We have two small dogs: a blind Maltese Poodle (10 y.o.) and an 8-year-old Maltese Terrier. They stayed with Janice and her family for five days. Pet care has never been an issue for us, but we needed a solution for our dogs during this trip. We explored pet hotels in the area but we knew it wasn’t a good idea for our senior dogs, especially the blind one. We met and greeted 3 other Rover service providers, but we felt most comfortable with Janice. She was attentive, asked about our dogs’ needs, and offered updates and photos during their stay. The best part was that Janice and her kids treated our pets as if they were their own. If you’re looking for pet care in the Pasadena, Altadena, or Arcadia area, I highly recommend Janice.

We had been looking for a trust worthy sitter for our Aussie Doodle, Darla for some time, thank goodness we found Ana and Mitchell (and Ellie) who have a warm, clean and safe environment. Ana & Mitchell know how to engage with a dog, minimizing the stress for Darla and for her doggie parents as well!
We could not imagine our older pup Baci being in better hands - Stephanie was incredibly kind and generous with him and with us, and went out of her way to really make him feel like part of the family (which was particularly helpful because he gets more and more stressed by boarding as he gets older). The family dog Tuck was the perfect playmate; he and Baci were even snuggling together! We hope that Baci will be to board with Stephanie many more times.
Chanell was very responsive and gave us lots of updates and photos of Buddy, even through the busy holidays. She took great care of him and I would definitely board with her again! I also really appreciate her transparency as Buddy sustained a small scrape towards the end of his boarding but she took great care of him and was very upfront about it.
Molly was a godsend! We found her last minute because my family planned a weekend trip impromptu. Molly was very responsive and accommodating for our fur dog, who can be a little timid when meeting new people and in unfamiliar surroundings. She immediately felt comfortable with her two pups and her kitty. She had an amazing time and we got just the right amount of updates for reassurance that she was in good hands.
