“Jing was amazing! She was able to accommodate us at short notice and communicated with us very frequently! Our dog Brax seemed super happy and comfortable! We will definitely book her again! ☺️🐾”

“Janice is amazing! My little frenchie loves her! Left my dog with her twice and on the second time my baby was running to her door that’s how excited she was to comeback to Janice. Also, she takes great pictures and always messages to let me know how my dog is doing. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to her for taking care of my baby so well.”

“Biscuit had an amazing time here. It was like a second home. Angelica was amazing with communication and updates. Will definitely use her in the future for all biscuit care!”

“Ana and Mitchell and their dog Ellie were wonderful sitters for our 5 month old Labradoodle puppy. I am very glad to have found them. Their fenced in backyard and house are set up for entertaining new dogs with comfort and safety. They were able to get our puppy to eat his meals even though he's teething and sometimes unmotivated. He loved playing with Ellie and he was so relaxed after I picked him up because he had a great night with Ana & Mitchell.”

“Elva is great. She took good care of my dog and is very responsive. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of pets and I would always go back to her if I need someone who I can trust to look after my dog.”
“Second time for Big Beddy to stay with Junyao! She took great care during Beddy’s spay recovery and kept me up to date all during her stay! Will always go back for private boarding!”

“Thank you for taking care of Code once again! We are so thankful for Sherice, Kelly and family for looking after Code on short notice. He was so happy and truly enjoyed the company and warmth of their home. We look forward to having him visit again soon.”

“Loretta and her family are very kind and they were attentive to our dog’s issues with fireworks. The family is a great team! Loretta was flexible when we were wanting to pick up our dog earlier than planned. We will definitely use them again!”

“Sheila was very accommodating with our last minute request and put our worries at ease with her experience. One of our dogs is a grumpy girl and Sheila handled her very well. I appreciated the pupdates and overall communication. I'm very glad to have found this sitter and will definitely book her again in the future :)”

“Our dogs had an awesome time at Albane’s! She sent us pictures and updates often and we knew our pups were in good hands with her. Her house is perfect for dogs and they enjoyed sunbathing there. They came back tired and relaxed from their vacation.”

“Lisa and family are so great with Mango and she always loves to board with them and whichever other dogs they’re sitting. It’s so fun for her to be part of the gang over there”

“My dog was so well taken care of! I’m glad to have received so many pictures and videos and Tuotian is so knowledgeable with dogs it put my mind at ease to leave my pup there. Definitely will bring her back!”

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”

“Nora had such a great time with Haijin and her sweet little Pomeranian, Sugar!! Haijin took really good care of her and Nora was very happy and fluffy when I picked her up. Will definitely be sending Nora back to her. Highly recommend!”

“So happy with my first booking with Diana! She took great care of Miso and was very fast and communicative. My puppy had a great time with them and loved playing with their Dalmatian for hours. Would not hesitate to book again and thank you so much for making it easy!”

“We cannot stress enough how amazing Lawrence is with our pup! Every single time we drop off Chuckie we know he will receive the BEST care. Lawrence treats him as if he was one of his own pets. We have complete peace of mind while we are away knowing that Chuckie is in great hands!”

“Jianle was great. He sent us photos of our dogs throughout the trip. When we needed to extend our travel, he was accommodating and responsive throughout all of it. Highly recommend!”

“Alysha went above and beyond to make our pups feel like part of her family during their week long stay. She kept us informed in how it went the whole way, and was sincere and loving towards our dogs. I would recommend her absolutely to watch your animals, and am grateful she took such great care of ours! Thanks again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sierra Madre
Rika was so incredible with Shaka and gave updates and pictures everyday. We recently lost our usual sitter, so going with someone new was a bit scary, but she made me feel at easy everyday my dog was with her. Very responsive and communicative and made my little guy feel like a king! Can’t wait to work with Rika again soon. ❤️

My family went away on a trip and this was the first time we've ever used Rover. Junyao left such a great first impression during the meet and greet that my dog didn't want to leave her house. She gave regular updates during our dog's stay and was responsive if we had a question about something. I would definitely recommend Junyao if you're looking to board your dog!

Haijin and Victor were extremely prompt with replies for a last minute boarding. Our puppy Casper (8mo high energy beagle mix) had a great time playing in their big yard with the other dogs. When we picked Casper up, he didn't want to leave. Will definitely book again, peace of mind and ease of arrangements made this a wonderful experience.

Tiffany was absolutely wonderful with Winnie! I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Tiffany’s care, and it was obvious that Winnie was happy, well cared for, and loved while she was there. Tiffany was attentive, responsible, and so kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust her with Winnie again. Highly recommend!

We are very pleased with our boarding experiece with Amelia. She was very gentle and attentive to our dog. We received sufficient updates incl. photos, videos, and how our dog interacted with other dogs. And our dog got along well with hers (we think our dog misses her buddy).

I couldn’t be happier with Nugget’s stay! I especially appreciated that the home only had small dogs, since Nugget loves being around dogs her own size. She was cared for in a comfortable home environment, taken on walks, and clearly received plenty of attention and affection. The photos, videos, and regular updates gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was wonderful to see how happy and relaxed Nugget looked throughout her stay. I feel very fortunate to have found such a caring and trustworthy place for her. I’ve found Nugget’s home away from home and will absolutely book again!

As a first time Rover user, my experience with Yifan was great. We had an initial meet and greet with Trixie, which helped put me at ease for my booking. The twice daily updates and photos were also appreciated, as I could see Trixie was well cared for and comfortable in her care.

We had a wonderful experience! Our dog was well cared for, and we really appreciated the updates and photos while we were away. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our pup was in such caring and trustworthy hands. We highly recommend them and will definitely book again!
Rique is an awesome dog sitter! Cooper got sick while he was watching him and he took such great care of him. He also kept us updated and sent pictures and he has a big backyard that is perfect for running around in. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a sitter who is caring and reliable!

Lawrence was the perfect sitter for Winnie! From the moment we first met before the actual booking, Winnie immediately started wagging her tail and felt comfortable with him—which is not something she does with everyone. Knowing I was leaving my baby with someone she was so happy to see made me feel completely at ease. Lawrence kept me updated throughout her stay, and communication was always excellent, which made the entire experience even smoother. I would 100% recommend Lawrence, and I will definitely be bringing Winnie back to him in the future!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
