FULL TIME **Wife & Husband duo!**

FULL-TIME DOGGIE DAYCARE & BOARDING 🐾 Thank you for stopping by! We’re Gigi and Steven, and caring for dogs isn’t just something we do on the side — it’s something we genuinely love and have built our lives around. ==ABOUT US== We’ve both been dog lovers since childhood, but our journey into caring for dogs really began when Gigi received her first dog, a Maltipoo named Nunu, as a surprise college graduation gift. Not long after, we began caring for Lexy, the sweetest elderly red Cockapoo, who became our very first long-term client. We had the privilege of loving and caring for her for years, and that experience helped start what would eventually grow into our dog daycare and boarding business. Since then, we’ve been trusted to care for many dogs belonging to friends, family, and clients. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person watching your dog, especially when you’re away. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, comfortable environment where your pup can feel at home and you can have peace of mind. In 2019, we visited NKLA, where Steven refused to leave without bringing home an adorable Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix who we named Katsu — because his coloring reminded Steven of fried chicken. :) Katsu is playful, sweet, social, and very accustomed to being around other dogs. He has never shown signs of aggression, although he can be a very vocal and growly player! ==MEET & GREETS== Meet & Greets are not required, but we are more than happy to accommodate one if it would help you feel more comfortable before booking. We understand the importance of making sure the arrangement feels like a good fit for everyone involved. Meet & Greets take place in our front yard and are limited to approximately 10 minutes. For privacy, safety, and liability reasons, we do not provide tours of the inside of our home. However, we have photos available throughout our Rover profile so you can get a feel for the environment your pup will be staying in. ==HALF-DAY TRIAL DAYCARE== (First-Time Clients Only) If you would like to try us out before committing to a longer stay — or simply want to help your pup become familiar with us and our environment — we offer a discounted 4-hour trial daycare stay for first-time clients. Just send us a message if you’re interested in setting one up! If additional hours are added to the trial stay, any necessary rate adjustment must be made prior to pickup. ==RATES, HOURS & EXPECTATIONS== - Daycare rates cover up to 12 hours, with drop-off and pickup occurring on the same calendar day. - Daycare stays exceeding 12 hours will be considered and charged as boarding. - Boarding rates cover each 24-hour period, with drop-off and pickup occurring on separate calendar days. - For boarding stays, pickups more than 2 hours beyond the applicable 24-hour period may result in Rover’s extended-care rate being applied. - We do not accommodate client drop-offs, pickups, or meetings before 6:00 AM or after 10:30 PM. - A $15 convenience fee applies to any drop-off or pickup scheduled before 7:00 AM. Furthermore, we appreciate accurate drop-off and pickup times when booking for planning purposes and please note that significant changes in timing may affect the total rate. ==PHOTOS & UPDATES== We know how reassuring it is to see your pup enjoying their stay! Photos and updates are typically sent between 9:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Depending on how busy the pups keep us, the exact timing may vary, but we’ll make sure you get to see how your dog is doing. THANK YOU! If you have any questions that weren’t answered here, please feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to discuss your dog, their personality, routines, or anything else that will help make their stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for considering us to care for your pup. We know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s hands, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. We hope to meet you and your best friend soon! 🐶

Gigi was communicative and took good care of Kaia. She sent photos throughout the day and Kaia enjoyed her time there.

Outstanding experience. A few things I really appreciated: 1. Excellent communication with status updates and pictures of the dogs playing 2. The property is designed for the dogs to be safe, monitored, and low stress 3. Very quick response times 4. You can tell they’re dog people. They care and it shows. Will definitely be taking our dogs to them in the future.

Schedule

==SCHEDULE== Steven and Gigi are both full-time dog sitters, and caring for the pups is a major part of our everyday life. ==REGARDING SUNDAYS== Because dog care does not come with traditional weekends or regularly scheduled days off, we intentionally reserve Sunday mornings and early afternoons for church and family time. This gives us a consistent window each week to rest, recharge, and spend time with family and each other while continuing to provide dependable care throughout the rest of the week. For this reason, we do not schedule client drop-offs, pickups, Meet & Greets, or other in-person meetings on Sundays between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If your reservation involves unusual circumstances, travel delays, or an emergency that affects scheduling, please feel free to reach out. We are always happy to communicate and will do our best to work with you when reasonably possible. ==WHAT “FULL-TIME” DOG SITTING MEANS== While caring for the pups is a major part of our daily life and something we take very seriously, we are also regular people with normal day-to-day responsibilities. We may occasionally step out to run errands, go to the store, grab a meal, attend an appointment, or take care of other everyday tasks. Please do not expect us to remain physically inside the home 24/7 throughout your dog’s stay. Dogs in our care may be left safely and appropriately unattended for reasonable periods of time, just as they would be in a normal household. We always make sure the pups are secure, comfortable, and properly cared for before stepping out.

Safety, trust & environment

==DURING YOUR PUP'S STAY== When a dog first arrives, we closely monitor their interactions with the other dogs in our care so we can identify any dynamics, behaviors, or personality differences that may require extra attention. We never hesitate to separate dogs into different play areas if something does not seem like a good fit. Our priority is always maintaining a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment for every pup staying with us. Our property is fully fenced on all sides, and we use multiple gates and barriers at key entry and exit points to provide additional protection. Dogs also have access to a dedicated doggy playroom, which opens directly into our 550+ sq. ft. turfed backyard reserved specifically for the pups in our care. This gives them plenty of space to relax, explore, socialize, and play throughout the day. ==FEEDING== During mealtimes, dogs are fed individually in a crate or pen. This helps prevent food guarding or food-related conflicts and also keeps pups from eating another dog's food, which can lead to upset stomachs, dietary issues, or problems for dogs with allergies or special diets. ==SLEEPING== Every dog is given their own designated sleeping space at night. Crate-trained dogs will sleep in a crate. We have a wide variety of crate sizes available, so please let us know if your pup is accustomed to a particular size or setup. Dogs who are not crate-trained will typically sleep in an individual pen. Special accommodations may be available for dogs who are unable to comfortably sleep in either a crate or pen. Please discuss your dog's needs with us before booking so we can determine the best arrangement. Our goal is to provide each dog with a safe, comfortable place to settle down and rest after a busy day of playing and socializing. ==WALKS & EXERCISE== While we want every dog in our care to receive plenty of exercise, stimulation, and socialization, we do not provide individual neighborhood walks. We have made this decision because taking dogs off the property introduces additional risks that are outside of our controlled environment, including dogs slipping out of a collar or harness, eating something unsafe from the sidewalk or street, encountering loose or unfriendly dogs, or experiencing other unexpected situations. Instead, the pups receive plenty of supervised outdoor time, play, and socialization on our securely fenced property. With access to our dedicated playroom and 550+ sq. ft. turfed dog yard, we find that the dogs staying with us generally receive plenty of opportunity to move around, explore, play, and burn off energy without the additional risks associated with off-property walks.

Pets

A typical day

Dogs start their day with a morning potty break and a little playtime before breakfast. Fresh water is always available throughout the day so pups can stay hydrated whenever they need. During potty and playtime, dogs are free to move between our fully fenced backyard and dedicated doggy studio, allowing them to choose whether they would rather relax indoors or enjoy some fresh air outside. Outdoor time is always supervised, and we are unable to leave dogs outside unattended. If your dog is an outdoor dog, let us know and we can discuss arrangements.

Prior to drop-off, please complete your dog’s Rover profile and bio as thoroughly as possible. The more information we have beforehand, the better we can prepare for your pup and provide them with safe, comfortable, and individualized care. ==THINGS WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG== - Is your pup currently sick, showing symptoms of illness, or potentially contagious? - Are there any quirks, habits, or behaviors we should be aware of, such as humping, paw chewing, separation anxiety, excessive barking, resource guarding, or destructive behavior? - Have they boarded before? - If they are not potty trained, unfixed or in heat - Does your dog have any current or previous illnesses, injuries, traumatic experiences, sensitivities, or known triggers? - Is your dog currently taking any medications or do they require any special care instructions? - Is your pup up to date on vaccinations and flea & tick prevention? We understand that vaccines and preventative medications cannot eliminate every possible risk, and some illnesses may have an incubation period before symptoms appear. However, we strongly recommend keeping your pup current on their vaccinations and preventative care to help create the safest environment possible for all dogs staying with us. ==ILLNESS & CONTAGIOUS DOGS== For the safety of all pups in our care, we are unable to accept dogs who are knowingly sick or contagious. If your dog develops symptoms of illness prior to their stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can discuss the situation and make any necessary changes to the reservation. If a dog arrives exhibiting obvious signs of illness, or develops clear symptoms of a pre-existing or contagious illness within the first 12 hours of their stay, we may require that the dog be picked up as soon as possible. In these situations, the stay will not be eligible for a refund. We greatly appreciate your honesty and communication regarding your pup’s health. Being upfront about any symptoms or concerns helps us protect your dog as well as every other pup entrusted to our care.
