“I appreciate Lawrence so much and always feel that Bailey is in great hands with him. Lawrence always provides a fun, safe, and caring environment. I love the frequent photo and video updates! Thank you again, Lawrence!”

“Jing was truly amazing with my dogs! From the very first meeting, they were instantly calm around her, which never happens with new people. She has such a gentle, grounding presence, and you can tell she genuinely understands animals. Before the actual sitting, she even took them for a walk at the park to help them get comfortable with her, which I appreciated so much. Throughout the day, Jing kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. She was incredibly communicative, reliable, and attentive to every detail. My dogs absolutely adored her, and I could see how well cared for and relaxed they were when I got home. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and thoughtful sitter!”

“Very accommodating! I could tell my pup felt so happy, comfy and spoiled at their house! They were also able to keep Dante separate from their own pup. Went above and beyond in small ways. Great photos and took him out for potty again right before it was time for pickup.”

“Xue was amazing! She took care of my baby on short notice, which saved my life. She sent photos and videos throughout the day, and made me feel safe to leave her at her place. Would definitely book again”

“Junyao was an excellent find for our 8 week old Golden puppy. She kept us updated with notes and pics while following instructions to help crate train. She was always responsive and Beddy was super excited each morning as we parked into her driveway! Will book again!”

About: Together, my partner and I have over 30 years of professional experience working with dogs. We believe great boarding is about more than just supervision. As full time trainers, we provide a safe, structured environment while getting to know each dog as an individual. From puppies and seniors to working breeds and rescue dogs, we’ve helped dogs with all kinds of personalities and training needs. Our goal is simple: for your dog to enjoy their stay and for you to feel confident they’re in experienced hands. Caring for dogs isn’t something we squeeze into our schedule, it’s what we do every day. As full time dog trainers, our days are built around the dogs in our care. Every dog receives regular exercise, enrichment, potty breaks, and plenty of individual attention in a safe, structured home environment. We believe good management creates a safe and enjoyable experience for every dog. We carefully assess each dog’s temperament and comfort level, supervise all interactions, and make thoughtful decisions about play groups and rest time. We have crates and separate spaces available when needed, and our fenced yard provides a secure place for exercise and enrichment. Our goal is for every dog to feel safe, relaxed, and excited to come back.
About: I provide personalized one-on-one pet services to ensure every pet receives dedicated attention and care. For each service, I only accept one client’s pet(s) at a time. This means I do not combine pets from different households during the same service, allowing me to focus entirely on your pet’s comfort, routine, and individual needs. Once you book my service, I reserve that scheduled time slot exclusively for your pet. I do not accept another client for that same service period, ensuring your pet receives my full attention without distractions or divided care. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate almost any time. Just send me a message whenever you need my availability, and I'll be happy to work with your schedule! If you’re a new Rover user, use my referral code for your first booking and get $20 off! https://www.rover.com/sit/annax02660 When your pet is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own, with love, patience, and attention. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine, providing plenty of affection and exercise, and paying close attention to their individual needs. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is in caring and reliable hands.
“Gigi & Steven have been absolutely incredible watching my pup! They were able to take her in last minute and kept me updated with how she was doing throughout the day and I could tell she was having a blast! Will definitely be rebooking with them again!”

“It’s really a very nice experience that we found Tuotian to take care of our dog. They treated her as a family member. Our dog is super energetic but they played with her with love and patience. I received lots of video clips and saw my dog”

“Albane was really sweet and understanding to my senior dog as she has one herself nearly the same age and size. Neighborhood is perfect for dog walks and her home is very lovely and welcoming for anyone who want to leave their pet there in good hands. Unfortunately my dog has severe separation anxiety and she just wasn’t appreciating it and I do feel bad Albane and her husband had to go through with her barking for so long. They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. I would definitely have her stay again if her anxiety didn’t make it difficult for those watching. I still recommend to anyone considering.”

About: Since I was a kid, I've always loved taking care of pets. Growing up, I had several pets and enjoyed taking care of them. As a pet mother myself, I understand the concerns one may have when leaving your pet behind while traveling. If you choose me as your dog sitter, I can guarantee your fur baby a good experience. We treat your pet as if they are a member of the family. Whether it is dog-walking, boarding, or other activities, your dog will have a great and comfortable stay! I currently work from home, so I can take care of your dog's needs. I am able to walk dogs in the mornings before I start work, and in the evenings. The dogs have free access to the backyard during the day. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to run around and play, and a friendly goldendoodle to keep your dog company. The dogs will be allowed to freely roam around the house.

About: I offer dedicated, private boarding in Pasadena with a strict one-family-at-a-time policy. Your dog will receive personalized, high-attention care in a calm home environment, without ever having to compete with pets from multiple unfamiliar households. I have loved and cared for dogs since I was 6 years old. I also spent three years volunteering with the Walk Me Home Rescue group(as a volunteer and foster parent)—walking, socializing, and supporting rescue dogs across a wide range of breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. What You & Your Pup Can Expect: Attentive Supervision & 1-on-1 Focus: With my flexible schedule, your dog will never be left alone for long and will enjoy continuous attention, companionship, and customized routines. Friendly Playmate or Private Retreat: My sweet 5-year-old Border Collie loves having friends over to play. If your pup prefers quiet solo time, I can easily provide a separate, comfortable resting area alongside private walks and yard time. Secure Backyard Play: Supervised outdoor playtime, fresh air, and safe exercise in our secure yard. Daily Peace of Mind: High-quality daily photo and video updates showing meals, walks, and playtime so you always stay connected. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a social butterfly, or a senior who loves a peaceful routine, I treat every furry guest like my own. Feel free to message me with any questions—I look forward to meeting you and your pup at a Meet & Greet! I work part-time and am home for the vast majority of the day, giving me plenty of flexible time to give your pet constant attention and supervision. Our household has a fun, active routine: we let the dogs out into our yard every 2 to 3 hours for playtime, fetch, and frisbee. In addition to yard play, I take them on 1 to 2 dedicated neighborhood walks every day to ensure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your pup will be welcomed into a warm, pet-loving home where they are treated like family. Alongside my own friendly dog, I have a 14-year-old brother, who is passionate about animals and loves keeping pets company with calm companionship and playtime. We prioritize safety and comfort above all. Our home has a secure yard for safe outdoor fun, and pets are never left unattended during activities. Whether your dog thrives on interactive play or prefers a cozy, quiet spot to relax, we tailor our routine to their unique personality and keep you updated with regular photos and message.

“Dropped off my shy fearful rescue pup for daycare and when I came back to pickup he was flying around the living room chairs. Within a few minutes in Alysha’s presence you can tell your dog will be in completely capable hands. Love the vibe of her home, I feel totally confident in leaving my dog here. Already booked his next stay!”

About: 💁♂️Communication is available in English, 中文 (Chinese), and Español (Spanish), helping pet parents feel informed and confident throughout their pet's stay. Providing personalized home-style boarding and daycare in a safe, clean, and low-stress environment. To ensure every dog receives plenty of attention and supervision, I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time. For safety reasons, I exclusively care for small dogs under 20 lbs. This helps avoid the risks that can come from mixing large and small dogs together, where significant size differences may increase the chance of accidental injuries during play and daily interactions. With over 10 years of pet care experience and a professional pet grooming background, I understand the unique needs of small breeds, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs requiring medications or supplements. Feeding instructions, medications, and daily routines are carefully followed to help every dog feel comfortable and secure while away from home. Dogs enjoy supervised free-roaming time, comfortable indoor spaces, regular potty breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Because this is a home environment rather than a large commercial facility, each dog receives individualized care and close supervision. Whether your dog is staying for a day, a weekend, or an extended visit, they will be cared for with the same attention, patience, and affection as my own pets. 💻 My husband and I currently work from home full-time, running a pet boarding and grooming studio 🐾✂️. This allows us to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. 🧡 🏡 We're available for boarding every day, including weekends and holidays 🎉, and we ensure your pet stays on their routine with regular feeding 🍽️, playtime 🎾, and bathroom breaks 🚶♂️. 🐶 Your dog will stay in a quiet, smoke-free home 🏡 with two gentle small dogs 🐶🐶 and no children. They’ll live freely in our shared space like part of the family 💕 and will not be crated or kept apart — unless requested. Pets are welcome on furniture 🛋️ if they’re comfortable. 🐱 For cats, we provide a cozy private cat room 🏠 equipped with toys 🎲, a cat tree 🐾, and an automatic water fountain 💧. It’s a calm and relaxing space where cats can feel safe, comfortable, and completely undisturbed by dogs. 😺✨ ✨ My home is secure, clean, and ideal for small dogs who enjoy a calm environment 🌿 and close companionship 🤍 — and equally perfect for cats who appreciate peace and independence. 🐾 📸 Fun Fact: My husband is also a photographer 🎞️ and loves snapping beautiful portraits of our furry guests 🐕🐈 — you might get some frame-worthy shots to remember their stay! 🖼️💫
“Jackson came home so tired that he must have had a wonderful time with Cat, Albert, and Trace! 😍 they provided the cutest report card about his day 💕 I also really appreciate how flexible they were with drop off and pick up times, due to my unpredictable work schedule. So glad to have Jackson enjoy daycare here!”

“Yifan has been wonderful. She suggested a meet and greet at a park before our first daycare booking. This put me at ease as a first-time Rover user. My baby BooBoo is a senior dog who can be anxious, so Yifan’s updates and photos gave me so much peace of mind. BooBoo settled in and became comfortable throughout the day. I’ve already booked with Yifan and I feel confident leaving my fur baby in her care. 💗”

About: Have experience mainly with bully breed type dogs 100lbs & under as well as cats, lizards, & fish. My experiences have been mainly with rescues. I have helped find loving homes for dogs as well as caring for and rehoming cats. Everyday is a learning experience and enjoy creating bonds with new fur friends! I currently have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted with reasonable scheduling and communication (usually a week advanced notice is preferred). I typically make time to walk my pets in the early mornings/late afternoons/nights and allow the dogs to roam the yard or come relax inside as they please and depending on weather conditions. I would prefer to have pets (especially dogs) to become familiar with me first before we consider boarding them with me. I can accommodate inhouse crate/private room or outdoor crate/private gated kennel for housing.

Junyao’s warm energy and kindness made us feel comfortable that Buddy would receive great care and attention, which is a huge relief as pawrents of a dog with some attachment anxiety. Buddy liked Junyao right away, smiling, sniffing around her lovely property, and wanting to be around her. We are so happy we found Junyao, she’s the best!

Steven was super helpful kind and welcoming to both myself and Bailey and I will definitely continue to book with him when our schedule is a line for sure! He is very accommodating and respond back within a proper timeframe and even when Bailey was a bit nervous, she was gentle and caring with her as I saw from the pics he updated me with throughout the day! I give him 10 out of 10!!

Amelia was great! She is personable, knowledgeable, and her love for dogs really shines through. Our dog is pretty high energy and still learning, and she knew just how to handle him while still letting him enjoy himself. She is also great at communicating and sending updates, including ones with cute pictures of our dog being silly and having fun!

Valentina took such great care of my golden doodle! She provided me and my wife with pictures throughout the day which gave us both peace of mind and demonstrated how much she cared both about us and our dog. She was extremely flexible with my schedule and responded to my messages almost immediately when trying to book. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the area!

Kailin was so amazing with my dog Georgia. Georgia is a rescue GSD and she can be very shy and fearful of new scenarios so it can be hard for us to find people she’s comfortable with. The minute we met Kailin, she knew exactly how to handle Georgia as she has a playful dog that helped Georgia feel comfortable. Kailin also made sure to send me texts/videos/photos throughout the day to make me feel more at ease throughout the day. It made me feel so much better leaving Georgia with her because I saw how happy she was playing with her dog Boniu!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
