I love what I do!
I’m a highly reliable 59-year-old who has always loved animals. I’m detail oriented and a clear communicator. I have a 100% response rate to inquiries and generally respond within 10 minutes. The majority of work I do is outside of Rover but, I appreciate working for a great company like Rover too. In addition to The Rover Guarantee, I have pet care and house sitting insurance. I’ve gone through Rover’s enhanced background check and passed. I have experience with medication administration, senior and partially paralyzed pets. I also have a gift for working with dogs who experience anxiety. See below for the service you’re interested in. Dog Walking: • I have a solid working knowledge of basic dog obedience. • I avoid other dogs and people while walking and do not allow people to pet the dog(s) . This is for your pet’s protection. • While walking I carry: first aid kit, waste bags, bear spray, water and a bowl. Drop-in Visits: Prior to and during visit: • Have a complete understanding of all that is required. • Your pet(s) will be given lots of love and playtime while I’m visiting. • I bring in packages and can check the mail. I’ll turn on lights, and can open and close drapes. House Sitting: My age is a plus! I’ll leave your home in the same shape (or better) than I found it. I wash my sheets and remake the bed. I take trash cans to the curb. I don’t snoop, party, or bring in guests. • Provide loving and complete care of your pets. • You can trust that if there’s a health issue or emergency, I’ll be on it. I’ve had experience with this. • I attach AirTag(s) and ID tag(s) with my phone number to your pets. This is an added safety precaution and can aid to speed recovery in the unlikely event a pet has escaped. •Provide 3 daily walks. Boarding and Day-Care: • I care for one pet at a time, ensuring that your pet is receiving my full attention. I’ll board two pets if they’re from the same household. • 3 daily walks provided.

Delia takes great care of our Benny. He gets very excited once we’re close to her house. Benny is a happy pup after each visit.
Delia was great! Communicative and so sweet with our pup who has lots of quirks.
Delia just had Benny over for an overnight stay and it went really well. Delia takes good care of him and makes sure to send updates. I appreciate having a safe place our dog.
Delia was great with our pittie mix. She communicated well and sent us updates. There’s a nice little park close to her where she took Benny. Overall a good experience and we’d have her watch Benny again.
We are fortunate to have found Delia. She stayed four nights with our 2 70-pound rescue dogs, lovingly and efficiently caring for them, with all their quirks. Sunny and Shadow were secure and happy (Sunny loves Delia) under her care, and we enjoyed our vacation feeling confident the dogs, under Delia’s walking policies and care, would be safe. The house was left in perfect order, sheets changed. We highly recommend Delia. She is a gem!

Schedule
I raised four beautiful daughters and had a successful interior design business. Now, I enjoy being a pet care provider. I spend time with pets. I’m out in the sunshine/rain and getting exercise. It’s a great gig for someone my age. I appreciate the daily flexibility and continue to do smaller interior design projects. I’ve incorporated my love of photography into my pet care business. I offer pet images as framed works of art, greeting cards, blankets, memorial stepping stones, puzzles and more. My images truly capture the essence of the pet. They make a thoughtful and unique gift!

A typical day
We go on three daily walks. I enjoy it working on basic obedience. I appreciate it when clients provide items such as: pet(s) bed, toys, Kong (with treats or peanut butter), puzzle mats. Anything to make you pet(s) feel comfortable and at home.
