“I needed a dog sitter on very short notice, and I’m so glad I found Angelica! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we connected. Both of my dogs took to her right away, and when I picked them up, they kept going back to her to be pet and attention, that says it all! It's clear Angelica has a genuine love for animals and a special way with them. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jing was truly amazing with my dogs! From the very first meeting, they were instantly calm around her, which never happens with new people. She has such a gentle, grounding presence, and you can tell she genuinely understands animals. Before the actual sitting, she even took them for a walk at the park to help them get comfortable with her, which I appreciated so much. Throughout the day, Jing kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. She was incredibly communicative, reliable, and attentive to every detail. My dogs absolutely adored her, and I could see how well cared for and relaxed they were when I got home. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and thoughtful sitter!”

About: Since I was a kid, I've always loved taking care of pets. Growing up, I had several pets and enjoyed taking care of them. As a pet mother myself, I understand the concerns one may have when leaving your pet behind while traveling. If you choose me as your dog sitter, I can guarantee your fur baby a good experience. We treat your pet as if they are a member of the family. Whether it is dog-walking, boarding, or other activities, your dog will have a great and comfortable stay! I currently work from home, so I can take care of your dog's needs. I am able to walk dogs in the mornings before I start work, and in the evenings. The dogs have free access to the backyard during the day. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to run around and play, and a friendly goldendoodle to keep your dog company. The dogs will be allowed to freely roam around the house.
“Yueli is a very good caregiver. Benny stayed with her for the first time and he came back happy. I liked that she updated us with pictures while he was being taken care of. Benny will be going back with her soon. I recommend her for your doggy daycare needs!”

“Luffy LOVES going to daycare, he’ll run out of the car and beg to be let into their house. He absolutely adores Cathy and Andres and they treat him like their own. He also loves playing with Charlie. Cathy also takes the cutest pictures of our dog!”

“My dog spent a daycare afternoon with Gigi and Steven. Prior to the visit they were very easy to communicate with and happily answered all of my questions. Their yard was secure and Steven took the time to let Mookie warm up to him and their dog. When I picked him up, Mookie was in good spirits and seemed to have a great time! I will definitely book with Gigi and Steven again.”

“I’m really so grateful for Lawrence. He takes care of our pup Bailey so well and is so attentive. He always exceeds my expectations and I think I have pretty high standards lol. Thank you for caring for Bailey so well and for taking her on wonderful long walks. I’m never concerned when Bailey is on your care!”

“Our dog had a great time with Alicia and immediately felt comfortable and at ease. I could tell he really enjoyed his time there and was relaxed when I picked him up! Alicia went above and beyond to communicate with me and send photos so I knew exactly how my pup was doing! Thank you so much Alicia and I will definitely be back! 😊”

“Haijin is the best. She took wonderful care of my Obi. She accommodated my early drop off and monitor his feeding and bathroom times. Much thanks to Haijin for being so living to my fur baby.”

“Thank you so much Frances, my dog was so happy and i can tell she enjoyed herself with you. Your amazing! You were very hospitable and I very much appreciate the consideration for utilizing a harness with my big pup! Sending us pictures throughout her really helped us with our own separation anxiety. Thanks again for working with us on the flexible scheduling you are a real gem. We will definitely be looking forward to our next session. YAY!!!”

“Alysha was kind and flexible enough to accommodate my Penelope girl with only a few hours notice. Best of all, Penelope had a fun day. The home was clean and spacious and pet friendly. Alysha is obviously an animal person and I didn’t feel like I had to be checking in all the time because I knew off the bat that Penelope was in good hands. I will definitely use her again for doggy daycare!”

“Michael to the rescue!! Even with short notice, he was able to come through in sitting my girl for the day. Kind, respectful & communicated well through the whole exchange. Would book again!”

I feel Mia is in great hands in her care and I greatly appreciate her help with supporting Mia’s training. I plan to use Stephanie again in the future for day care.”
“Junyao was an excellent find for our 8 week old Golden puppy. She kept us updated with notes and pics while following instructions to help crate train. She was always responsive and Beddy was super excited each morning as we parked into her driveway! Will book again!”

“Yang is an excellent sitter - our dog was happy and tired after an afternoon of play. She also ate her food which speaks to her being super comfortable at Yang's house even after just a few hours. Yang is a great communicator - both before and during the stay. We received video and photos and a detailed report on her stay. Highly recommended!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 8,151 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Mount Wilson. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Mount Wilson commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
